Guest Reviews
- Michelle (9/5): - The clean fresh decor.
The fabulous host.
The modern facilities.
The wonderful location.
The comfortable beds. The broken single sofa bed which we were planning to use due to the dynamics/ages of our group which was advertised but then not available.
- Jones (9/5): - The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. We stayed for 5 days and could have stayed longer - we've booked to stay again already 😊 the location is really lovely, and so quiet.
The apartment has a dolce gusto coffee machine so take pods if you have them, and if you intend to cook maybe take some kitchen knives. Nothing not to like!
- Gemma (8/5): Lovely little short break - Spacious, good location, clean Bed wasn’t very comfy.
- Nicola (10/5): beautiful modern spacious apartment - very modern and spacious, loved the high ceilings, beautiful bathrooms, only a short walk into Torquay, bit up hill on the way back but taxi wasn't to much, one parking bay reserved for apartment but was easy enough to park on the road outside and no parking fees, would highly recommend. nothing
- Clare (9/5): Superb -
- Helena (7/5): Good - Beautiful apartment in a lovely location, loved the kitchen/living room area The bed in the main bedroom was very uncomfortable & the bedding was very basic/poor quality
- Harry (9/5): Lovely accommodation in quiet area but still walking distance of busy area with shops bar restaurants - Immaculately Clean, modern, nice furniture No instructions to work induction hob
- Balwinder (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, beautifully decorated with all amenities, great location by car and locally on foot, dog friendly & your own parking space out in the front garden. The best holiday apartment we've stayed in. Highly recommended.
- Margaret (10/5): Rutland Heights was the perfect place for our short family break. I would highly recommend it. - The apartment was beautiful, a spacious and comfortable lounge/kitchen/diner and so nicely decorated. We didn’t use the cooking facilities other than the kettle and toaster, but it seemed to be well equipped. Lovely to have two bathrooms as there were five of us including two small children. The double rooms were a very good size with plenty of storage. The bunk bed room was smaller, but absolutely fine for two children. Lovely linen and towels. All felt very clean and inviting. Communication with the host was excellent. Very little not to like! The only thing was that the double bed creaked a bit. However, it was very comfortable.
- Tara (10/5): Comfortable, spacious and excellent location. - Beautiful property with easy access to the beach and sea views.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful large flat with an amazing, huge drawing room. Owner was very friendly and helpful on the phone when we needed assistance with the underfloor heating. The flat was cozy and warm in no time at all, perfect getaway for Christmas.
- Elka (6/5): Ok Family Stay, very hilly - The apartment layout was nice The beds all need updating, the mattresses were very bad had to sleep on sofa bed, management communication was minimal, were supplied with 3 toilet rolls for 1 week for 4 people, management wasn't aware of this and said should of had more, when asked if we can have more said we need to source it ourselves (this was before saying we only were given 3) requested fans for each room 2 weeks before arrival, still didn't arrive until the 2nd day, had to go out and buy one.
- Nadine (10/5): Fantastic - we will 100% return & recommend this apartment to family & friends :-) - Excellent location , stylish deco , very clean & an overall lovely stay - we will definitely return as a family
- J (10/5): Fantastic, luxury accommodation that is dog friendly wonderful!! - The apartment was stunning, luxury and dog friendly!
It’s also so roomy, even better in real life than the stunning pictures. Rach room is stylish and beautiful, beds/bedding lovely, so clean and comfy and two fantastic bathrooms! Torquay 20 mins stroll downhill. Wonderful!!
Bonus also, for that quick early/last walk field just 2 mins over road with sea views. Nothing !
- Amreen (9/5): Superb - It was amazing. The apartment was so comfy that the children loved how it felt like home they also loved the features of the apartment with how bright it was. I would recommend this apartment to others, and I will also would come back again. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
- Melanie (10/5): The best place we've stayed in. Simply stunning! Perfect location. Planning our next stay already! - The property is stunning. The apartment is spacious, light, modern and luxurious. The location is perfect. Being able to bring our dogs. Plenty of space. We loved everything!
- Afnan (8/5): A good place for a family hangout - very cosy interiors and posh apartment, felt to live there for a while.
Very spacious rooms, living room, toilets and kitchen. the TV felt a bit too small for the size of the apartment.
Could have provided toiletries and small bins for the rooms
- Nicola (7/5): If you got a new bed I would definitely stay again. - Gorgeous newly furnished apartment, great location. Outside lights light up the bedroom all night and the bed frame in bedroom 2 is sooo noisy.
- Davies (8/5): Very good -
- Melvin (10/5): Relaxing stay at Torquay - the place is amazing! the furnishings are new and feels really homey. the flat has dramatic high ceiling which gives us a feeling of big space. the flat is close to the coastal walk where one can sit and wait for the sunset. the flat also contains a crib and high chair which is convenient for us. the host is also quite responsive to messages.
- Ayeshia (10/5): The best place we’ve stayed in Torquay in 7 years!! - We come to Torquay 6-8 times a year but this stay was by far are best ever, we loved everything about this property!!
It was spacious, clean and absolutely beautiful, like a home from home. nothing it was perfect.
- Andrew (10/5): Truly a perfect Christmas break - We had a wonderful stay and even extended by 1 night because it was just so different from home, big, spacious, quiet and calm.
We arrived much later than expected due to traffic but Jess' directions and instructions were perfect. We had no problems getting the keys although the lockbox code was harder to enter in the rain and at a low level but that's just old eyes !
The apartment was just as pictured but the feeling of calm and space was so much better than we'd expected.
Jess was a great host and recommended Ollies for a dinner which was good and The Boston Tea Party is always a good cafe no matter what time of day.
Thanks for a great stay
- Bhs1973 (10/5): A treat of a time in Torquay! - Everything else. Jess, the property agent, was fantastic. Polite, professional and informative.
The property is a dream and the pics don't do it justice!! We'd stay again in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I think the cleaner was a little confused with the time of vacation (midday on Sunday). The clocks went back and at 11:45 GMT we got a load banging on the door and a rather abrupt lady was demanding that we should be out as we should be gone by midday. It was pointed out that it was 11:45 but she could not comprehend and left. Once outside she was heard shouting some choice words about us to her driver (white car).
- Katie (10/5): wished we could have stayed for a whole lot longer - Fab location, spotlessly clean, everything new, pure luxury Nothing. it’s perfect
- Rhianan (1/5): Could have been great. But instead massively disappointing - The place was absolutely stunning. No curtains or blinds in any of the bedrooms. If this was rectified then the place would have been outstanding. But due to this I chose to leave instead of staying the night I'd paid for. Owner communication was poor.
