• Rebecca (8/5): - The room is cozy but spacious and has a fridge, kitchen sink and heated blankets. The beds were very comfy and the shower really good. Parking was close to the accommodation. The bathroom gets quite cold because there's no underfloor heating. There is no outdoor furniture to sit and watch the stars. The accommodation is up a hill from town.

• Sarah (10/5): - Great little spot, great wifi and television to unwind after a long drive, perfectly close to town and right on the Alps2Ocean bike trail’s alternative path out of Tekapo. On a very sweet little street that allows for great views of the stars - works better if you walk up the hill at the base of the street because of the one house nearby with a light that’s far too bright :) Our only complaint was that several houses up the street, there’s a (clearly rental) place with a light that’s incredibly bright and was a blatant violation of the Dark Sky project - like even brighter than a normal garage/driveway light in a non-light-restricted area.

But easy enough in bathroom setup. - Requires a decent fitness level to walk in and out of town. But super quick access and location with a car

• JUOYUN (10/5): - 非常喜歡這裡的浴室，房間內還有微波爐，從超市買食材回來處理很方便。晚上走路可以到蒂卡波湖看星星，非常寧靜。
• Yibin (2/5): - There is a note on wall says the hotel staff will knock on the door and provide amenities topup service between 9 am to 930 am. What it doesn't say is, if you aren't in the room or the door isn't answered, your room will be skipped. When I reached out for the hotel management for that, btw this was by booking messages which is inefficient, they just insisted the BS that they couldn't enter the room w/o customers permission. They didn't even think of how to make things right at the first time. When I got tired of arguing and simply asked for towel replacement, they said they could only do that at 10:30 pm, which is way too late.

• James (8/5): Good comfortable accommodation on outskirts of Tekapo - Modern comfortable and clean unit which is just a short drive into the town. These are small units so are a little bit short on space for bags, dishes have to be washed in the bathroom sink & the walls seem thin so if you have neighbours being loud late at night, you'll hear them!

• Igor (8/5): A reasonable option for a couple of nights. - The location is convenient and there is plenty of parking slots. The room is small, no kitchen sink, so you have to wash dishes in the bathroom.

• Steven (5/5): Enjoyed the Tekapo experience of riding our bikes on the trails. - Liked the fact that it was close to town and had Netflix The fact that I could hear the conversations in the next room through our wall. Our room was situated so that every car that came down the street the car lights shone in our room or in daylight they could see in the room which meant that the curtains had to stay closed even though it was hot.

• Maike (8/5): Netter Aufenthalt - Die gute Lage und der kostenlose Parkplatz. Das freundliche Personal, welches morgens geklingelt hat und noch frische Handtücher etc gebracht hat. Wir sind von einem alleinstehenden Gebäude ausgegangen, aber es handelt sich um einen Teil in einer größeren Wohneinheit, deshalb ist es auch etwas hellhörig. Uns fehlte hier ein wenig die Privatsphäre. Für die Größe des Zimmers in einer Wohneinheit war der Preis zu hoch.

• Carol (7/5): Fine for a short stay but lacks the ambience and location for more than a night ir two. - Very modern and extremely clean The windows looked out onto bare scrubland, so not an aesthetic location. It’s part of a new housing development so currently looks a bit bleak. Also, the TV only showed channels in German! Even Amazon Prime Programs! And we couldn’t work out how to change this setting. There were no staff to ask for help.

• Lynda (8/5): Convenient location and close to Lake Tekapo. Easy to walk to restaurants and around the shops. - Good location and could walk to town. Quiet room, and comfortable bed. Easy checkin to the room. Parking right outside the room. Warm A bit small and not much room to put the suitcase. Bathroom had only one hand towel and no face washers. When the cleaner came around with more supplies the next morning, she didn't know what a face washer was.
• Helen (10/5): Excellent location, very clean, comfy bed and very prompt to respond to any communications. - The location was excellent. Just a short walk into town and there is a beautiful walk to Lake George and the white water kayaking course that you can walk to from the property. Very clean and staff pop by in the morning in case you need any supplies. I left an item at the property and they found it immediately and are sending back to me. Very efficient great communication.

• Rachel (6/5): - Comfortable bed, good size room, short drive from centre, easy check-in Curtains were stained and unclean. Not much privacy, felt like we always had to have the curtains shut with people walking past. No option of 'do not disturb' so we had a cleaner knocking on our door at 9am.
• Linda (9/5): Beautiful place to visit, stunning scenery and walking - Very clean and comfortable, quiet at night so slept very well, the keypad entry was very convenient. Lots of building work on adjacent plots so it didn’t look very nice, but as we were out all day anyway we were not disturbed by it.

We enjoyed it so much. - I really like the place and we stayed there and next morning we need to fix our car which was parked side of the road while coming to motel. So, we ask them for late check out and she said yes with friendly and nice way they were help full. And i would like to stay in luminous everytime i visit lake tekapo. Everything was more perfect than expected.

• Julie (9/5): Clean, convenient, comfortable. - Very clean, reasonably well equipped, easy access to the village. Someone came each day to see if we wanted anything restocking, ie teabags, towels, loo roll etc. Overall very happy. Very 'cosy'. Could hear the people next door talking, tv & snoring! No views at all, just looked out into other units and no outdoor space. It would benefit by putting a couple of tables/chairs on the space between units. It wasn't advertised as having views, so fair enough.

• Mark (9/5): Very nice accommodation in Lake Tekapo - A fairly new apartment that was very quiet and comfortable. Only a short walk to the center of town, visitor center, shops and restaurants. Convenient parking onsite or in the street close by. A great place to be based when exploring the area. The Dark Sky Project is a must-see as well as a visit to the Mt Cook area even if the weather is a bit poor.

• Tania (7/5): Overpriced and underwhelming - Room size was good and kitchen facilities were good The threatening tone used to advise property rules was extremely off putting. To suggest a $200 fee could be charged if a kitchen was deemed to be too untidy is inappropriate. The pillows were flimsy and not conducive to good sleep. Car parking spaces are insufficient for the number of units resulting in the need to park on the street or in the muddy vacant lot next door. The cost per night is excessive given similar properties in other hot tourist areas are half the price.
