- julie (10/5): Lovely property in great location - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Windsor Cottage. It was welcoming and had everything we needed for a stress free break. The beds were comfortable and was a selection of pillows. There was nothing that could have been any better. Thank you Laura for a lovely holiday home
- Keith (8/5): Pleasant stay in a bustling wee town - Good location, warm and comfortable. Relatively easy to park out with the difficult property space at rear. Good selection of pubs and restaurants nearby and plenty of sightseeing to be had. Both main doors still need attention as does the almost intelligible CH control. It should be stated that the bunk beds are suitable for children only, rather than perhaps leaving it to assumption. Curtains on the bedrooms would be a welcome addition.

- Annette (10/5): everything you need for a holiday or short break -
- Neil (9/5): - Everything you needed was there. Easy heating management. Lovely place. Broken window in bathroom made it a bit cold.
- Julie (9/5): Thank you - great hosts and a lovely place to stay for a long weekend. - The property was clean and well looked after - the hosts even left us some biscuits, milk, crisps and coffee. It was in a perfect location for lots of walking and sight-seeing. Perfect for our visit. NA
- Susie (10/5): A relaxing stay in a peaceful, centrally-located cottage - Great location, peaceful, clean, lovely calm decor, comfy bed and lounge, helpful hosts.
- IAN (8/5): - Lovely cottage and every thing available for a comfortable stay. Within walking distance of harbour , shops and pubs/restaurants.

- Patterson (10/5): - Great accommodation. Fantastic hosts always just at the end if the phone. Great location. Very conformable stay.
- Lorraine (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was lovely, very clean, everything you needed, the welcome pack was much appreciated, ideal location for town and local transport, amble itself is lovely, the walk from Alnworth to Amble is lovely The one thing there was no curtains only blinds so when the sun came up early in a morning you was woke up early this is not a complaint it was just our personal preference
- Joanne (9/5): Lovely little break away - Lovely cosy cottage located within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and harbour. Loved the treat box left. There are lots of places nearby that are just a short drive away. A couple small things that would make the stay better. We found the doors, especially the rear door, difficult to open/lock so need to be seen to and as it is dog friendly, a mop and bucket would help to clean up mucky paw marks. Luckily it didn’t rain whilst we were there so not a big issue for us.
- Neil (10/5): Would definitely rebook. - Well presented property.
Well stocked with equipment.
Good location.
Owners communication VG. Front and back doors a little fiddly to lock and unlock. Not a problem though.
- Marina (10/5): Excellent property base for exploring the area! - Tastefully decorated, very clean and loved the welcome basket ( and having milk in the fridge).
Beds very comfortable and good choice of pillows.
It was also great to be able to park the car behind the gates on the property.
Having free wi-fi and the smart TV, the washing machine with outdoor line with pegs , both fantastic.
Lovely neighbour at 33! The outside area where the car was parked just needs a little tidy up. The wooden seating area needs repairing and the grass fencing side needs sorting , the back door needs a clean on the outside .
This front garden seat could do win a paint and a little tidy.
These points did not affect our enjoyment of the property as it was perfect inside!
- Aileen (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely house in a nice location. Very clean and comfortable
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (10/5): Great property in a great location - Key code sent in advance easy to use, house was in a great location with everything needed for holiday
- Helen (10/5): A lovely stay and would definitely stay there again - The cottage was lovely and easy to find. There was milk in the fridge and a welcome basket. It was a great location and we would definitely stay there again. I was emailed by the host prior to the visit with lots of useful information. Although the parking was tight it could be done and there was plenty of space at the top of the road to park as well.
- Stephanie (9/5): Another fab stay - 2nd stay and still lovely - great location and facilities Mix up at the start on arrival as it wasnt ready for us but the host soon rectified this once we messaged her so it was all sorted. Other than that nothing to dislike- will certainly go back again.

- Stephanie (10/5): Excellent 3 days - Loved the location- easy access for everything. Comfortable cottage and parking was fine. Will definitely book again in the future. 6'4 hubby struggled a bit with the angle of the toilet but no issues really.
- Simone (10/5): Enjoyed everything about the stay, would not hesitate to visit again. - Liked everything, would stay again. We had to move the settee to see the TV and there could've been a coffee cafetiere, in addition to the NESPRESSO maker.
- Ann (10/5): Comfortable, clean , close to harbour & places to eat . -
- Philip (10/5): Perfect little cottage with full amenities. - Clean and well kept. Warm with everything one would need. Parking space available and neighbours friendly. Sitting on toilet at an angle.
Front door difficult to cut from inside. Rear door key needed some jiggling to work.
- Vivienne (9/5): Comfortable, relaxing and met our expectations. -
- E.a. (10/5): Very happy to stay more days in this nicely designed clean house - Well designed interior in light colours and nice pictures and other small decorations. All clean, plenty of room, cosy. Really happy to have lives there a few days!
Welcome box in the kitchen a nice surprise! Good kitchen and bath room. Easy to walk to the center, Harbour and busstops. Very good communication with owners. It is not easy to park a langer car in the back garden (alternative parking available round the corner)
