Guest Reviews
- Irene (10/5): Excellent place to say. - The cottage was very welcoming on arrival with lamps lit and fresh flowers. It is well furnished and everything needed for either a long or short stay. we were sorry we couldn't stay longer. Despite being next to the railway line and not far from the main road there was hardly any noise could be heard from either. It was interesting watching the passengers boarding and alighting the trains! Nothing
- David (10/5): Gorgeous relaxing stay in a wonderful location - Beautiful property in a fabulous location
- Gillian (10/5): - We liked everything.....
- Luke (10/5): - Unbelievably clean. Super quiet. Lovely atmosphere.
- Trevor (10/5): - Outstanding
- Rachel (9/5): Convenient and comfy - Convenient location, the comfy bed and the dressing gown. I also liked the thoughtful touch of leaving some lights on for when I arrived Nothing all good
- Fiona (10/5): This is a very lovely and comfortable place to stay in quite a unique location. - Its a unique location - to stay right on the station platform in a very cute station cottage - once the waiting room and office rooms of the station Just loved it.
- Marray-Woods (10/5): A beautiful and unique stay - Beautifully decorated and equipped, this is a quirky gem of a place in an unusual location. The front is in Acle Station car park (you have your own parking permit and reserved space) and the back looks on to the platform. Every room is beautifully designed with lots of railway references throughout. Plenty of space and thoughtful touches. We stayed on a winter’s night and only barely heard a train twice. No complaints. A previous visitor had turned the thermostat right down - it’s in the bedroom on the side of the boiler cupboard if any one else needs to find it.
- Jasmine (10/5): - Cozy, comfy and convenient! Lovely atmosphere, everything I could possibly need and a stones throw from everywhere due to the trains on the doorstep and main roads in and out. So peaceful I didnt even notice the trains "noise" they became part of the stay

- Sally (9/5): A lovely well equipped cottage with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. - A really warm cosy and comfortable cottage. There was everything provided for a real home from home feel, right down to biscuits, tea and milk available. There was free parking right outside, and the property is really interesting and provides a good base for exploring the area.
- Lawrence (8/5): Enjoyable stay for family function in Acle. - Adjacent to quiet rail station with parking place. Well furnished and decorated.
Quirky railway themed cottage.
Friendly hosts. Shower not as powerful as at home.

- alex (10/5): Perfect cottage, immaculate and perfect location to explore - Everything is perfect, very clean, everything catered for and great location, you couldn’t wish for more
- Glenn (9/5): -
- Nigel (10/5): Wonderful cottage, beautiful interior. Clean comfortable, trains right on doorstep. Perfect - Self catering Nothing
- Glen (9/5): Fantastic place to stay, cannot fault the hosts attention to detail to the property, everything we needed and more was a - Great Location, Excellent Facilities, easy parking, comfy beds, quirky place to stay nothing to say but positives.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Very nice little cottage. Would happily stay here again. - It was very comfortable and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and we lacked for nothing. It is a station cottage and bedroom windows open onto the platform. The nights were hot so the first night we left the windows wide open which meant we were disturbed by trains arriving and departing between 0600-2300. The second night we kept the windows closed and it was fine.
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Emma (8/5): Very good -
- Nigel (10/5): Very nice property very well converted from the old ticket office and waiting rooms - The location of the property was ideal for the things we want to do whilst in the area. The property was very clean and comfortable well equipped Nothing
- Francis (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): An excellent base for walking the Norfolk Coast. - An excellent location for our purposes. Very comfortable and well equipped. Very good quality furnishings etc. A delightful and quirky situation. No issues with proximity to traibs and platforms. Added to the charm! Nothing
- Michelle (9/5): Great value for money , lovely place with plenty of room and just a bit different ! - Great location , very unique and quirky and the bed was extremely comfortable- I slept like a baby ! Nothing
- Andy (8/5): Train lovers heaven - Spotlessly clean and tidy. Spacious with everything you could need to hand. Despite being on the station platform very quiet and peaceful. Easy to park outside the front door. We were only there for 2 nights and as a base it was very good. Found a community run pub at Upton, The White Horse. Very good value for money. Great place if you use the train to Norwich or Great Yarmouth. Found Acle lacking in amenities shops/pubs, and the walk to the centre was alongside the road. Needed to go a bit further afield in the car.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Gillian (10/5): Exceptional -

- Billy (9/5): Very good, everything high quality, great value for money. - Quirky, very clean, fixtures, bed linen, towels etc very high quality, bath robes and slippers included as well. Nothing to not like.
