- Victoria (8/5): - The location is perfect, very central and easy walking to all the sites in Mardin. The room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel property was absolutely beautiful with the mardin historic charm. Breakfast was decent. The hotel advertises free parking and they sent me a location to park. Google maps wanted me to drive on a street that said "Girilmez" no entry and a police officer stopped me to tell me I can't drive on that street. I asked the hotel for help, and nothing. Drove for 2 hours to find a parking lot with available space and walked 20 minutes with luggage. My advice to avoid this is to park in the first parking lot when you enter the gates. It costs 200TL a night to leave your car there.
- Fatma (7/5): Hotel i fin stand. Rigtig god placering og god udsigt derfra. Personalet er venligt, særligt Seyhmus, meget venlig og hj - God placering og god udsigt samt venligt personale Faciliteter er lidt gamle

- Melek (7/5): Sehr schöne Alte Villa - Direkte Stadtlage.
- Özbay (8/5): Personel ilgi alaka süper - Personel cok iyi konum güzeldi her yere yakın yatak iyidi
- Abdurahman KHEDR (3/5): - Location Rooms have no windows
I received a room without A/C struggle a lot until they change it
Service is very bad and slow if you can find them

Aconsejo no tomar esas sugerencias.

- Tikky1983 (10/5): Beautiful and clean, worth the money - This was our second time in this hotel, and we will come the third time definotely. Located at the top of an old town, it has marvelous view to Mesopothamia. If you love old buildings that resemble old medieval times, this is right place for you. We loved many terraces and labyrinth of balconies, you feel like you are in Alladin. :)) Price is ok, it is clean, good breakfast. Staff is really nice and hospitable, especially my two favourite guys - the receptionist who was willing to help in the middle of the night and gave us room and Sheimuss who serves great breakfast and always smiling! :)) I totally recommend this property! No complaints at all. Just a small note if you are coming with car, like we did. Do not look for the hote on Google mapsl, it will take you to the labyrinth of narrow streets and you will get stuck. Type Zinciriye Medressa instead and go to Medressa, you will get to hotel the right way, since hotel is literally just underneath Medressa and you can use municipalitu parking for free right in front of Medressa (place where amazing "6 days" song video was filmed by Mahmut Orhan).

- Mine (10/5): - Sind sehr gastfreundlich. Lage ist super
- naci (10/5): Güzeldi - Eski yapı olmasını Baynoları
- Marta (7/5): Good - Excellent location, historic place. I asked to have my clothes washed, and they returned them the same day. They smelled really nice. Even without air conditioning, it was cool and comfortable to sleep in the room, although during the day the temperature outside was +42°C. The breakfast area has peeling plaster from the ceiling and a unpleasant damp smell. Also, the staff did not clarify the transfer time in advance, only in the morning before my flight. Honestly, I was worried about missing my plane.
- Freda (7/5): Good - Welcoming staff.
Comfortable bed
Hot water in shower
Good wifi.
Nice terraces and stunning views Towels clean but like sandpaper
Terraces had NO shelter from the sun so during the day were untenable in 34C.
Access up very steep flights of steps.
- Rob (8/5): Very good - Stylish old building, great view.
- Marek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matti (5/5): Passable -
- Wei (10/5): Exceptional - Close to the city center with magnificent decorations!
- Joshua (5/5): Passable - Excellent location. Helpful porter and reception staff. Economy room without windows unfortunately a poor idea, no airflow and the plaster got wet from condensation and cracked off during the nights onto guests as we slept.
- Melissa (9/5): Superb -
- Fatih (8/5): Very good - Location is amazing, view is gorgeous
Perfect stuff and helpful workers
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely views. Central location.
- Irem (7/5): Great location at the center of Mardin but rooms need maintenance and insulation - The hotel has an amazing location right in the middle of the main street walking distance to all the highlights of the city. It’s also an old tradition building which is very beautiful. And the staff was very friendly.
However the rooms were not great, especially the bathrooms. Economic rooms had no windows which made them smell moldy and not get much light. The standard room was right in the entrance of the reception and it got some cigarettes smoke inside from the outside. Lastly, since it has a nice location the rooms were very noisy at night due to the traditional live music that goes on at the restaurants in the main street. Dont expect to fall asleep before midnight.
Breakfast was quite poor as well :(
- Elisabete (10/5): All excellent 10 ⭐️ - Fırst I to say thank you for all the staff very good Welcoming Helping in everything and Friendly , Excellent stay beautiful Hotel in Heart of Mardin super Breakfast , the Views and the antique Building amazing , close to everything ,excellent Choice 🙏🏻
- Amr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zsofia (3/5): Very bad - The location was perfect and the view from the terrace very nice. I was in a damp and smokey room. It was ice cold and all my clothes smelled like cigarettes by the morning. I asked for another room and they told me I have to pay extra to sleep in the other room since it had a view. Unacceptable! It is basic that they should provide me a room that does not smell like cigarettes!
- Khadija (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hoi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ceyhune (9/5): Staff are very helpful, kindly especially Shehmuz and Ismayil. - Location is perfect Nothings
- Bilge (10/5): Exceptional - The views were the best out of all best place in Mardin
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Milad (7/5): Good - Cozy room
Nice location They mentioned they have free parking ,but they don't
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Very central to everything, beautiful old building Bathroom was tiny but to be fair the building is very old
- Tiago (8/5): Very good -
- Vincent (4/5): Good location but ok hotel only - The location is good my bedroom was humid and not pleasant at all, the bathroom needs to be upgraded. Overall the hotel is dated and not well maintained.
- Richard (10/5): The Best Way to See Mardin - Wonderful staff at the Zincirye - very helpful and friendly. Great location for seeing old Mardin. Beautiful views. The staff forwarded an item we forgot to our next location at no cost - and helped in dozens of small ways during the trip. A truly authentic and comfortable way to experience Mardin.
- Gast1764 (7/5): Good hotel, nice staff, but internet not working - +View of Mesopotamia

- Nick (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, close to several attractions and restaurants. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Wonderful and helpful staff. We would be happy to stay there again.
- Jarosław (8/5): Very good -
- Westenraad (10/5): Exceptional - Nice breakfast and friendly helpfull staff The guy that was on night duty, rude we not even aloud to laugh
- Westenraad (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice place near everything ,very happy 😊 can recommend
- Riccardo (8/5): Very good -
- Skinner (10/5): Loved the staff especially şevmos. Very clean facility would 100% recommend. - Loved the staff especially how they treated us Loved everything
- Yessica (10/5): Really enjoyable - The hotel is very beautiful with amazing views and well located, the staff was very kind and always help with any request I have. They give me a lot of information in which places should I visit and what to eat. It is a great place to stay -
- Brenda (8/5): Good place - The location of the hotel is in the middle of Mardin. The staff was always very helpful and kind. The room was always warm and comfy. We didn't have hot water... I was told after 6 minutes the hot water starts to come out but I don't like waist too much water...
- Ingutis (8/5): Very good - I stayed at the hotel for couple days in January. Hotel has perfect location in the heart of Old Mardin. All famoust place are very near - 5min. The staff is was very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and clean, bedsheets uswell. The air condition made the room warm to sleep
- Carles (9/5): Superb -
- Muhammed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nariman (8/5): Very good - Location wise, it is one of the best hotels in the region. It is close to the main street, shops, restaurants and to other historic places.
Hotel has nice view of the valley. People at reception are very helpful.
All rooms are independent and access to the rooms are from open air hall. Different atmosphere.. Hotel rooms seemingly need some restoration and renovation. And considering rooms being similar to cave, air conditioning is not very well.
- Erdal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sunando (6/5): Pleasant -
- Maxim (10/5): Great location with amazing facilities - Amazing location, great staff, highly recommended
- Vasyl (10/5): Exceptional - Location is amazing. Absolutely stunning views from the terrace, especially during sunrise and sunset. Stuff went far and beyond with our requests. The room's interiors will put you into the right mood immediately: you will feel that ancient vibe right away. Me being 6'3" experienced discomfort using the sink as it was at my knee level. There's no kettle in the room but stuff is ready to bring you freshly brewed tea at your request.
- Gurban (7/5): Good -
- Almeida (6/5): Pleasant - Architecture and location One person from the staff was clingy, also , breakfast was not good
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marouane (8/5): Very good -
- Eun (10/5): Fantastic View - Location was really good
View was fantastic
Staffs were kind
Every morning i had breakfast at rooftop
It was really nice :)
- Fatima (10/5): Nice stay overall - Location, room Breakfast
- Milagros (4/5): Staff of hotel best thing. - The location
The staff was extremely friendly, kind and very helpful. Only good thing about the hotel. Hotel is very well located and has nice views. The breakfast was very disappointing. Not a lot to eat, not many options.
The bathroom is quite small.
It's good to have rooms at the very back since it can be very noisy.
- Nadejda (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice hotel, with perfect location and amazing view. Stuff is really kind and helpful.
- Maizer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (7/5): An old palace, I recommend it with a good heart! - It's perfectly located in the heart of the former Christian old town, just above the main street, half a minute's walk from the town centre. Not the hotel's fault, but it is virtually impossible to park nearby. In a town like Mardin, which is built on the mountain, this means a lot of walking and climbing...
- Seher (7/5): It was decent - Location was great! Even though it was an expensive stay, breakfast was way below our expectations and taking a shower was quite unpleasant.
- Miriam (8/5): It was good, it could be better - Excellent location. Beautiful hotel.
The staff, mainly Şeyhmus and Ismail, were great, very kind, smiling all the time, always willing to help. Thanks to you both.
Breakfast was good. We didn't like the bathroom. Many things to change. First, it was too small. It was easy to hit your head on the hot water heater (I hit myself). Electric instalation of this heater was deficient, and therefore dangerous.
The ceiling needs to be painted.
- Merve (5/5): Passable - I liked the location of the hotel I think cleanliness and hotel facilities should be improved. I don’t think that for this price it matches your expectations . Also the hotel rooms are totally different then real rooms .The way so tiny .
Thank you anyways but I really don’t think that I’ll stay with Zinciriye hotel again
- Stephen (8/5): Recommended for comfort and location - Perfect position in the tourist part of Mardin with great views from the terraces and a very nice common room. OK breakfast, helpful staff. Recommended. Try the wine cave next door: charming owner, Nouri
- Dave (8/5): Great location and staff, room could use some attention. - The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was great, walking distance to the main square. The hotel itself was beautiful and interesting. The bathroom was constantly damp because the vent fan didn't work.
- Nikita (7/5): Good -
- Benjamin (9/5): Superb -
- Lorrainemiller (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (9/5): The stay was great I totally recommend it. - Location, staff and the designer of the hotel bathroom
- Paulina (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is in the central part of the Old Town of Mardin, which is very convenient; the views from the terraces are amazing! Next to the hotel, there is a nice place with live music. If you go all they way up, you will reach Zinciriye Medrese. We stayed in a room without a window but it wasn’t a problem.
- Jan (8/5): Mardin is a wonderful city, staying in this historic building was a treat in the old city. across the street was a great - wonderful ancient building. helpful staff, no problem to change my room to a downstairs room when my walking stick was spotted. central to Mardin old district same breakfast everyday, no facilities for food drink or rest unless you were in your room or outside with smokers.
- Sebile (7/5): Good - Overall it is a beautiful hotel with beautiful terraces and really nice staff. It was clean and the breakfast was good. But depending on the room you have the experience changes a lot. Some rooms are deep into the stone and have no window at all - which of course is due to the old building and the style of being carved into the stone. Just make sure you have a window in your room, then your stay will be nice. My room had no window.
- Zhale (7/5): Good -
- Levent (5/5): PLEASE, CLEAN THE ROOMS !!!! - The Man called ŞEHMUZ, he is fantastic!
Şehmuz diye bir çalışan adam, harika birisi !!!!! Horror Room next to reception.
Do they somtimes clean the rooms or never???????
- Mahmut (8/5): Stone hotel in Mardin - I liked the friendly staff who was eager to help. They helped me to build an itinerary (my compliments to Veysi) for the sightseeing of the beautiful city of Mardin ( I stayed 3 nights but I could use more time because there were a lot of things to see). I also liked staying in this historical stone building which was built hundreds of years ago.
The place was centrally located (in the hearth of the old town) and it was quick to reach from the airport. There were plenty of restaurants and shops around the hotel. When they built a bathroom inside the room, it made the room less spacy. Also, the bathroom was not compatible with the great architecture of the building. I was told that the room which I stayed was an economy room; however I paid much less for the better rooms during the same vacation in the other cities.
My bed was not made during my staying.
- Stanislav (9/5): Superb - Perfect location Everything was fine
- Miro* (10/5): Exceptional - Very authentic hotel, right in the city centre. Comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. -
