• Peter Christiaan (10/5): Excellent! - Nice kitchen, even a small electric hob to cook on What I have seen nowhere and only here is that there is perfume to use, very kind! The bed and the couch was super comfy Also the view across the lake is beautiful! We asked for a sponge so we could do the dishes and it was in the evening so we did'nt expect her to react anymore that evening, but Helen was there within a few minutes!! Very fast service! We loved everything about our stay. Tips to make it even more perfect: maybe place a hook for coats somewhere in the living room (so it's not in the bathroom). And the faucet in the bathroom sink is too far back so you can't wash your hands properly (in the kitchen you can), but I don't know if this can be fixed?

• Anne (10/5): Ganz besondere, tolle Unterkunft, die mit Liebe und Sorgfalt ausgestattet ist - Die Lage ist fantastisch. Direkt am Wasser, ruhige Seitenstraße. Die Terrasse in der Sonne mit Blick auf die a Bucht war einfach traumhaft. Klitzekleines Manko: das Bett könnte ein Update vertragen, aber das ist wirklich das einzige. Es war trotzdem noch komfortabel.

• Matthias (9/5): Toller Ausblick in ruhiger Lage - Tolle Ausstattung, erstklassige Lage, sehr nette Gastgeberin Im Hochsommer ist es in der Unterkunft zu heiß, da diese leider keine Klimaanlage hat.

We absolutely loved waking up to the view as well. Couldn’t find a frying pan (apologies if there was on one)- us Scots need our fry ups! Other than that absolutely zero.

• Michael (10/5): A magical place for a short break on Skye. - My wife and I were about to celebrate our 80th birthdays, so staying in a pod for a short break was a bit of a gamble. We needn't have worried. We have a wonderful, stress free stay there. Our host, Helen, met us on arrival and showed us around the pod. It had everything you needed, and more. It was cosy and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. We prepared our food in the small kitchen area and then ate on the balcony, overlooking the loch. It was serene, sublime and blissful with an amazing view of the loch. There was nothing to dislike. We were sad to leave.. We would love to return.

Fabulous communication from the owner. The pod is perfect for a few nights, but like most pods, you need to bear the size of the space in mind when packing for your trip!

• Maureen (10/5): The perfect stay in the perfect place. - Couldn’t have wished for a better location and accommodation to base ourselves for our time on Isle of Skye. Helen provided the most clean, comfortable and well-appointed cabin where everything had been thought of to make us feel at home. The view from the veranda was stunning and what a sunset! Helen was so helpful with suggestions regarding food options and things to see but was also extremely knowledgeable about the local marine life. All just right.
• Nicolas (10/5): Wonderful and quiet place by the seaside - Wonderful place by the seaside, in a quiet street. The shores are directly seen from the bedroom window and just across the street. The pod is lovely, well equiped and has plenty of room for two. There is wildlife everywhere around. It only takes 5 minutes by car to get to the city of Broadford, which has all the convenience stores needed. Helen the host is a very nice person and will give you a warm welcome. Bonus : it is perfectly oriented to get a glimpse at the northern lights when they come.

Waterloo Sunset it a tiny but really cosy place to stay and a good way to explore the Isle of Skye! You will find everything you need.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention to detail has gone into making this place a true gem. The stunning views from the pod were simply breathtaking. • John (10/5): Cosy, warm and hospitable Hebridean delight. - The host gave me a really warm welcome and made me feel at home and I am so grateful for the kindness and friendship that was shown to me - really couldn't do enough for me during my stay. The luxury pod had everything I needed and so comfortable and clean. And the view from the pod is spectacular ! ☺️☺️☺️ I could go on with all the plusses but I honestly loved everything - highly recommended !

• Alex (9/5): Beautiful pod to relax and reset in, with the added bonus of amazing scenery. - The location-beautiful location just on the shore. Quiet. Friendly host with a good info pack. Ideally located for getting round the island. There was a lot of stuff/furniture in the pod so it made it difficult to move around in the pod without potentially hitting something eg your head off the tv. Also being asked to strip the bed was an odd request that I’ve never been asked to do in any other property. It wasn’t a problem to strip the bed but it was a unique request. Better recycling info would help trying to separate the rubbish.

Even had a plug with multiple charging cords to power multiple devices, Bluetooth speaker, large TV with all the streaming services including Netflix, wifi, small kitchen, etc. The unit was clean and comfortable, and very quiet. the mattress and pillow were memory foam. we were very comfortable, and Helen was a great host.

• Kristin (10/5): Skye is gorgeous, and Waterloo Sunset is the perfect place to stay! - Waterloo Sunset was absolutely perfect! It was comfortable, perfect for two, and filled with little touches that made it uniquely Skye. The host greeted us on arrival, the hens & ducks were adorable neighbors, and the location was absolutely gorgeous. We took a walk up the road our first evening, watching the tide come in, and the sunsets were spectacular. The location was an easy drive from Skye Bridge, and we were able to drive all over Skye with the one full day we stayed for. I wish we could have stayed longer! I highly recommend Waterloo Sunset, and when you visit Skye be sure to check out the lovely shops next to the co-op in Broadford.
• Robyn (10/5): A comfortable stay in a unique setting, great host. - We loved this style of accomodation, very comfortable and well set out, everything was there for us, loved the accessories such as shampoos and conditioners. The view was wonderful, easy walk to restaurants. The chooks were a bonus.
• Ewen (10/5): We detoured off the NC 500 to visit Skye and the surrounding and the pod was ideal - The host visited to check we had everything, the location and the facilities were excellent with amazing views and well equipped with quality clearly a driving feature of the glamping pod. Would highly recommend Nothing to dislike
