Guest Reviews
- Diane (9/5): We had a nice break - Close to train station and town There was nowhere to hang clothes and we couldn’t get the shower to work
- donna (2/5): Thank god only stayed one night ,,, really should not be on hotels.com - Location Very old apartment,,dangerous windows broken facilities in bathroom ripped worn out sofa
- Paul (7/5): -
- paula margaret (5/5): - Locat8on
- Ellisha (1/5): -
- Wayne (4/5): - The property was situated near the beach The bed was uncomfortable and wasn't the equipped for a week stay.
- Molly (8/5): -
- Donna (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend to anyone - We booked as thought close to town and the sea. The landlady was very prompt at replying to messages leading up to our stay. It was a dodgy area in Weymouth that smelt of cannabis. The lobby and stair area was dark and dingy. Fire alarm constantly chirping (low battery) Smell of cigarette smoke walking into the apartment. Bed pushed against wall so only access from one side. Tumble dryer in bedroom. Loose carpet could trip hazard. We didn’t even stay here. Left after 10mins.
- Fiona (1/5): - Close to beach Dirty towels in bathroom and damp.washing in the dryer!.awful smell very small uncomfortable sofa evidence of drug use in the property
- Emma (4/5): Disappointed happy to go home - The location Very small dirty grumpy neighbour in flat below
- Sam (9/5): Brilliant great value for money - Loved the apartment was clean tidy great amenities supplied basically everything will deffo book again plan to book again in 2 weeks literally 2 mins from train station and beach perfect size for friends or family or a get away as a couple I'd reccomend The 1st night was a bit lively but once u close windows and shutters have tv on noise gets drowned out
- Elena (9/5): -
- Michaela (1/5): Appalling checked out 10mins after arriving had to book something else after a 4hr journey was very upset! - Absolutely nothing very very poor in every way Everything was just awful from the minute you walked into the main entrance
- Parnell-flux (1/5): Horrible - Good location to see the partner in prison Unclean
Uncomfortable
Everything was broken
- Mary (1/5): Diabolical - Nothing It was filthy , bin not even emptied, dirty things in cupboards , horrid musty smell everywhere inc towels, shower leaking
- Jack (1/5): -
- Theresa (7/5): - The bed was really comfy location was great too there is everything you need in the property and a TV in both the lounge and bedroom it serves its purpose and I love the self check in no hassle and free parking permit duriing your stay so its good value for money also has a washing machine and dryer and everything you need to cook a meal with ..the property is quite dated but it's great to have ample space and amenities in here ..one thing I didnt like qas the stairs at night were inly lit by solar type lights which dont come on straight away so this potentially be a hazard but other than that for the money we paid it was comfortable and convenient The lighting on the stairs
- barber (7/5): - The main bed was comfortable but the sofa bed was not Communication with staff
first the key wasn't there, and it took me calling seven times with no answer for them eventually they called me back but by then maid came back with the key
So not a good start
The flat could do with an update the kitchen worktop wasn't even attached I don't think certainly didn't fit there's a few light switches a little bit wobbly which is not safe but for a single night there it.
served its purpose
- rose (1/5): Unhappy Guests - Did not like anything about the property The property advertised was not the actual property for that address. There was someone else's washing in the washing machine, a tumble dryer in the bedroom. The stair well leading to our apartment had no lighting other than a solar light in a room half way up, that came on as u approached it and a former employee that lives in the downstairs apartment still had the code to access the spare key for the apartment we were going to stay in and also there were no furniture to hang clothes or drawers to put items of clothing. To us the apartment looked nothing more than for storing furniture etcetera. It was a total disgrace and we abandoned it and found elsewhere to stay. We were not happy with it at all as we felt our belongings wouldn't be safe when we were out
- patricia (1/5): Very unclean and in despair I wouldn't stay here health and safety hazard - Location and parking On arrival key code entry was fine opened door to a dirty hallway and stairs to flat opened door no light working in hallway living room very dirty old sofa bed very dirty clovers and pillows TV smeared flooring tip hazard plaster falling off walls TV can't get normal channels . Kitchen has most things need but very dirty and dis repair. Toilet / shower was ok but again dirty bedroom very cluttered with tumble drier in there no storage for clothes had to live out of case no room to move all very out dated needs the whole flat re doing .. lighting at night in stairs way very dangerous as can't see until hit the forth step .. owners need to re do the flat to me should be let out as in to much disrepair
- Jane (5/5): We would not return because of the bathroom - The location is fantastic The shower is terrible as the water does not drain and you can not have the water running while you wash as the shower pan will overflow onto the bathroom floor!!!
- Melissa (6/5): - Location was good. It was compact.
- Willis (1/5): Never stay here, very dirty - Easy to get into Very dirty, bed bugs
- Clarkson Drake (7/5): Good Price for a short stay pp - Reasonably priced apartment. Quite a small apartment with not much space in the bedroom which meant the bed had to be against the wall. I am Still confused as to why there was a clothes dryer in the bedroom.
- Graham (8/5): -
- Stevens (5/5): - Weymouth A bit noisy apartment needs t l c
- keith (8/5): -
- mel (1/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS! - The accommodation was awful. It was disgustingly dirty, ant infested and definitely not fit to stay in. The bathroom was dirty with cracked and black grout around the shower. Bedroom did not have curtains, there was dried blood stains on the duvet, and the sofa had been covered in a sticky back plastic vynl as well as the coffee table - what that was covering up goodness only knows!
The door to the flat was partly smashed where a boot had tried to kick it in. There was a very loud pub with swarms of very loud drunk men outside smoking. Not the environment for myself and my granddaughter.
I complained immediately and had to seek alternative accommodation for myself and my granddaughter.
I am out of pocket and out of patience now with trying to obtain a refund 1week later.
AVOID THIS ACCOMMODATION AT ALL COSTS. All of it. See above.
- Herbert (8/5): - Close to the seafront everything we needed Noisey thought out the night
- Strange (1/5): Horrendous - No breakfast self contained it was horrible from the second we pulled up filthy frontish hallway disgusting it was like a suatters place slammed damp ants every whwew toilet seat hanging off toilet roll holder hanging off shower runners filthy flooring all through building filthy every thing was very tired and old including towels great disappointment if not for disappointing our little grandson would not of stayed and not also in the shower a roun drain cover not atal fitted dangerou as it is a slip hazard and tray in shower filles quickley so so very quick shower is needethe fit to be let out the language and noise and fireworks it was scary at night went on late into the night not fit at all The whole thing horrendous
- Kevin (8/5): - Central flat in weymouth. Clean flat with everything you need for your stay A little noisy in the mornings but nothing too bad.
- Julie (8/5): - Location with parking excellent
Comfortable in the flat
Fully stocked for self catering stay
- Imran (4/5): -
- Reece (1/5): Bad - nothing ants everywhere, floor wasn’t stuck down properly as tripped over it so many times, the bed looked like hasn’t been changed from last people who stayed as was hair in the bed and stains on the sheet, there was even hair in the shower and ants was even crawling over the bed and didn’t even manage to sleep as of the state of the bed and the property stunk of mould very disappointed would never go there again
- Susma (1/5): Bad - Nothing We couldn’t stay there house was so smelly and not organised bed shit was shit and not clean for a while .
We leave the house and book an another hotel .
- Samantha (8/5): Suited us for the one night stay. Great location and great communication with owner. Honest and ad such we knew what to - Great location with parking nearby Bathroom could do with some improvement
- John (5/5): Because of the location we enjoyed our stay - It was in need of updating for eg windows did not close properly bathroom fittings were loose .The tumble drier took up a large part of the small bedroom
- Joy (7/5): Good - The location was very good. On street parking was a bonus with permit.
- Lydia (1/5): Bad - The location. It’s not clean, the towels in one of the cupboards had a brown mark on them. There were ladies leggings wrapped up in another towel. The bed wasn’t clean and had bugs on it and the sofa bed is just some cushions and a hard piece. It’s a shame as it could be a good place. But it needs a refurbishment and a cleaner to make sure it’s clean between stays. We ended up sleeping fully clothed on top of the covers!
- Sarah (1/5): Absolutely awful - Nothing It is impossible to sleep here. The pub across the road is ridiculously noisy. Whilst I understand this isn't the owners fault the big problem is the windows don't close properly meaning you can hear every word. The wind blows through the windows banging the blind all night that only shuts half way. The pull out bed in the living room is just a piece of foam and definitely couldn't fit two on it. It completely ruined our whole holiday as we didn't sleep every single night. Pubs kicks out at 3am then the waggons start coming down at 5am. Numerous people were arguing right under our window and other residents were banging about and arguing. It was just impossible. Absolutely awdul. Couldn't park outside it with the parking permit as it was full. The shower is like a dripping tap. Absolutely useless and the tv doesn't work. There is a bumpy vinyl floor in the living room and you can't turn the bathroom light on in the night as the fan makes a result loud noise. It was unclean and the bedding smelled awful. Honestly it was awful and if someone said I could stay again for free I'd have to decline. I thought we were getting a bargain but would definitely have paid more if it meant actually being able to sleep. I've never left a bad review before however I wouldn't want someone else booking this thinking it was a good deal
You could not have stayed here with small children it's unsafe.
- Richardson (3/5): Poor - Nothing The whole place. It needs modernising and decorated. I wouldn't bring a baby up in this. It's not habitable. The bed was not changed and clean. There was hairs in the bed. We won't be coming back here again.
- Carol (7/5): Good -
- Justin (7/5): Good -
- Jessica (5/5): Tollorable - Location and convenience Pull out bed was appalling. Decorating left a lot to be desired.
- Deepumon (1/5): Bad -
- Brendan (3/5): Didn’t want to spend much time in this property! - Close the sea Smelt as soon as you opened main door, peeling wallpaper floor lino not fitted properly shower small and had no hot water cobwebs in bedroom should not be rented out in that state!
- Palmer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phoebe (1/5): Will not be coming back was awful - Nothing was good at the property therefore we had to leave an hour after getting there The whole place had a really bad smell the bed sheet had red staines on and hair all over, the paint on the walls were all chipped and coming off.
- Jaishankar (7/5): Good -
- Mandy (1/5): Avoid at all costs. This is NOT a good deal - Not much. Access to cooking facilities & a washing machine. It is close to the beachfront if you can cope with constant noise. This place is a dump & shouldn't be allowed on booking.com. 'Seabreeze' is a joke as none of the windows open & if you open any curtains/shutters you look directly in to someone elses window. The headboard is against a draughty window(the blind doesn't go all the way down),literally metres from the busy narrow road. There is a pub just a few houses down that has live music/ karaoke. Very uncomfortable sofa. Then there is the clutter.....
- Alisha (1/5): Horrible - Nothing, very disappointing and dirty apartment Was dirty
- Craig (3/5): Ok for a place to crash after a night out but wouldnt stay here otherwise - The flat was clean and the bed comfy, the owner also was exceptional at communicating, however the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the flooring was Lino thrown down and not fitted, some lights didn’t work, and the flat smelled of cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant for 2 non smokers.
- Ross (9/5): Superb - Perfect location in town centre right next to the seafront.
Clean flat with comfy bed and very reasonably priced.
- Elaine (6/5): Pleasant - We absolutely love Weymouth. The apartment needs a little tlc . You could here everything through the windows . The shower wasn't good .( needs replacing ) .The sofa in the lounge wasn't very comfortable. Nice kitchen , fairly clean although lots of dust n mould on windows , needs a good clean behind the bed . Bed linen was clean and towels were lovely and soft . Like I said just needs a little tlc . Noise of people and traffic going by . All explained above .
- Natalee (8/5): We had a blast thank you! - We had a lovely stay the parking permit came in handy and we had no trouble parking. The bed was comfortable and my boy loved the sofa bed which meant he had the tv to fall asleep to. Lovely big windows let a lot of light in.
- Justin (7/5): Good -
- Justin (7/5): Good -
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Being able to leave and come back when ever we liked, good value for money. Close to the sea front. Local shops There is a smell, needs a new sofa bed
- Lawrence (9/5): Superb -
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louis (1/5): Awful -
- Asher (8/5): Very good -
- Justin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ally (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- James (8/5): Very good - Location was great We were well aware the place was l basic and for the cost and location very good price
- Dawn (5/5): Big Dissapointment - The house is close to the seafront and a short walk to town,a parking permit is included in price. We couldn't get into property as hadn't been sent code for key safe messaged and phoned owner who gave us code, opened door greeted by dirty carpets leading to curved stairway that is only mentioned once you have booked, flat was disappointing windows very dirty inside and out, shower just trickled needs updating badly heater in bedroom dangerously placed nowhere else it can be plugged in,the bed sank and made a weird noise everytime we moved and we were on different levels and scared to move till my partner placed the slats properly, sofa in front room really uncomfortable, carpets need a clean as does all the paintwork on windows and maybe a freshen up and curtains put up as there are apartments across the street that can see straight in,tv too big for size of room and cables everywhere I think the owner needs to act on the honest reviews people are giving and they will have a long lasting business I thought I was getting a bargain till I stayed at Seabreeze but was hugely disappointed,,
Luckily we were out most of the time as not comfortable at all.
- Robert (4/5): Disappointed for price paid - Key code not correct… contacted host , cleaner arrived also could not get into property..cleaner went back to her home to get keys .. very cold wait outside
- Sue (1/5): Terrible - Nothing Couldn’t use bed really wet and stunk,no shower, carpets so so dirty I will put more photos on sent one lot
- Sue (1/5): Awful - NOTHING AT ALL IT WAS SO GRUBBY Bed was wet couldn’t use, carpets were filthy, windows were really bad, shower not working, no nets or curtains the place is a tip when I asked for refund owner said what did I expect it’s just a basic let words to that affect. I am worried about using booking.com now. I just want my money back I am 72 yrs old and save for my breaks. Maybe someone should go and check this dirty hovel out. I am so angry and upset. Owner said she doesn’t deal with money side of it.
- Kevin (5/5): It was fine for one night , not expensive - Plenty room , enormous tv though we weren't in to watch it , near the beach , separate living room , bathroom , kitchen with fridge and kettle and cups Remove unused cupboard from bedroom needs two bedside tables and table lamps , heater in bedroom was dangerous could only be plugged in socket with short cable across the door ,did the old ripped sofa convert into a bed ? New bigger towels needed,no towel rails in bathroom ,just screws in the wall , someone's shampoo conditioner shower gel in shower ,no working light on the top of the stairs ,so it was dark near the door , dangerous going down in the dark .redecoration and paint window frames would be nice .
An old sofa outside the next house isn't a good look .People outside shouting during the night , but it was a Friday night .
- P (3/5): Poor -
- Rayhan (9/5): Great value for money. - Location Heating facility isn’t good.
- Suzi (7/5): Good - It was in a great location to the beach and train station. The apartment was well equipped and was very clean. The only downside was the cleaner was running late, so we didn't get into the apartment when we expected to but the host was very helpful.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathryn (9/5): Only spent one night in the property, location great but wouldn’t want to spend any longer in there. Very depressing. Ov - Location is really all it had going for it Disrepair, no care put into this property.
Tv kept going off due to loose cables, couldn’t watch normal tv, no bedside lamp. Shower disgusting Very sad looking flat
- Jane (1/5): Can do this in one word, “horrible” - Nothing.
A very unhappy stay
Felt very uncomfortable Everything
- Biston (5/5): Passable - They had all facilities you needed in kitchen .. but to small to do anything .. Most of it .. large wardrobe in living room . Sofa bed was terrible. Wires everywhere and over loaded for tv etc all showing dangerous with my granddaughter.
Shower was tiny and not much room to move in bathroom. You could lie in bed and touch the wall .window wouldn't shut tidy so very load with noise outside . Tidy bags of rubbish in tumble dryer area and could smell them .. move bed away from cupboard slightly and full of rubbish and dust behind bed . Had to move small draws away from side of bed ad couldn't get into bed . Glad it was only 3 days not 7 .and was out most of day as didn't want to be in there ..
- Karina (6/5): Was what I wanted.. in my short stay.. - The property was very close to the town.. was very basic which is what I needed.. very comfortable.. presentable.. The WiFi didn't connect.. I was advised on of the letters was a capital but that still didn't work.. I wasn't overly fussed as I was only there for one night..
- Deirdre (1/5): so bad we didnt stay - it was so bad we didnt stay there it was a flea pit i have e mailed you i want a full refund absolutely nothing
- Niall (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sarah (5/5): compact property near beach front and town - location excellent.
hosts were easy to contact.
Great parking the smell of damp was nauseating.
the 3rd bed/sofa bed has a duvet and pillow but no sheet/ base cover.
property could do with lick of paint throughout, especially bathroom, all a bit tatty.
- Dave (1/5): Our stay was terrible - The only thing to like about this property was that it was close to the seafront and shops with a short walk to the train station. On arrival at the property it was very difficult to get the key out of the security box as it was so very low down on the wall and was rusted. It was also located right next to a very loud pub. When we opened the front door we were immediately greeted by a filthy carpet and people’s mail all over the floor, we had to go up a flight of stairs that were difficult to use due to their size. When we got to the door of our apartment it was damaged which immediately made us feel unsafe. The bed had linen on that had stains and the bed had a layer of dust on it. The kitchen was basic and the microwave filthy, there was no plug in the sink so couldn’t do dishes properly. The shower was disgusting. The living room had peeling paint and the sofa wasn’t even big enough for two adults to sit in any comfort. There was no heating only one small oil filled heater that you have to move from room to room. Cables for the T,V and other electric outlets were in a mess with an extension lead all over the corner of the room(completely unsafe)
- Paul (4/5): Noisy and smelly - The TV, microwave and washing machine were good. The flat was dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. There were no curtains on the windows and the area was quite noisy which made it hard to sleep. The building had a bad smell of damp laundry and uncollected rubbish.
- Barry (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (3/5): Dissapointed - Basic price ok Hallways messy. Tripped on broken carpet grip that was broken
- Louise (3/5): Disappointing ! - Pungent smell of rubbish, mixed with damp laundry .
Ants in bathroom & kitchen
Towels need replacing
Bathroom and lounge need deep clean
Needs redecoration throughout
Overall feels dirty
- Susan (5/5): Basic accomadation - Location No duvet or pillow cover for sofa bed
- Robert (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent. Every item you need is available to use. The free WiFi is great, also the free parking permit is a godsend.
- Jamie (7/5): Good -
- Kovan (9/5): Superb -
- Mohammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janine (6/5): Good value for money - Central location Lack of utensils in kitchen
- Nadeem (5/5): Great location but only suitable for 1 to 2 people. - The location was great - less than a minute to the sand and sea. It was easy to collect the keys for the property. We managed to find parking opposite the flat which was also great. The property was not suitable for young children. There were open plug sockets, multiple wires with extension leads on the living room floor. The very large television also literally rests on the living room floor. Given the above, we could not let our 10 month old child sit/crawl on the floor and had to carry her around the entire time we were at the apartment. We were also told that the television had a Roku stick with a number of feee channels available. That was great in principal but because the remote control for the device did not contain any batteries, it didn’t work. The flat is basically designed for a one or two people. There is a double bed and a sofa bed. Although the sofa bed is covered with faux leather, it was not clean and smelled. So ultimately, my wife and 3 children slept in the double bed and I basically sat/slept on the unmade sofa bed. What didn’t help matters was that the large window next to the sofa bed does not close properly and there is always a 1/2 inch gap always letting in a draft. I have apologised a number of times to my wife for the experience of staying in the apartment and am still trying to get back into her good books.
- Sharon (1/5): Two hours of hell - Keys werent in key safe as property was occupied by someone else ,got next to zero help from host and booking.com had to travel home as we had no accommodation meaning we missed a show tht was paid for
- Aneta (8/5): Very good - Close everywhere
- Lee (7/5): Good - It was clean and adequate for what we needed tea and coffee supplied Sofa bed wasn’t good and tv just placed on the floor
- John (8/5): Basic but right in town - It's right in town just one block behind the sea front and it had a permit for free parking in the street it was in.. The apartment was basic with old carpets and no curtains .It needed a net curtain for the large window as all the apartments opposite can see in ,.
IT'S a small cost to put things right.. Also there were not one shelf in the bathroom and no where to put your items,
.
- Lucy (6/5): Pleasant - location was really good, parking was not near by room was a bit small for us
feel like the carpet was not hoover
towels was to small for us
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
