- Mazlin (8/5): An enjoyable stay in a good pub. - We enjoyed our stay. Very good food at pub restaurant. Very comfortable and clean. Excellent renovations of rooms and bathrooms. No breakfast available nearby coffee shops very good. No en suite bathroom in our room. I didn't notice that when booking.
- Caroline (8/5): Was lovely stay meals in pub delicious. - Lovely old hotel, Rooms were lovely all modern.
The pub down stairs lovely for a meal except was very busy & forgot to order my meal, & my husband had finished his dinner when mine came,
But they did give us complimentary drinks all very young staff & lovely but under pressure. Old world charm & style.
But not parking out back lane way.
- Jason (10/5): 11 out of 10.. - Jesse the bar manager was such a welcoming person, she helped us with dinner and booking in to our comfortable room, what an asset she is to this amazing accomodation venue. Thanks heaps Jesse.. you were amazing. We had to go home!
- Judy (8/5): Based on what we were looking for - it was perfect - Location great - rooms renovated - comfy bed The room was renovated but no cupboard for hanging clothes and there was a cockroach in the kitchen. After hours getting back to the hotel was a little difficult as could not come through the front door but through a back door walking past rest rooms. No reception.

- Debbie (5/5): - Position Room was supposed to have 2 single beds and a king, but only had one bed. There was a sofa bed but it was out of order. So person travelling with me slept in the floor. Check-in was abysmal.
- Michael (6/5): Expensive - Location was good For the price there is a shared bathroom

- Kees (9/5): Great! - Location was excellent. Parking at the back and within walking distance from a train station.
Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't have time to have lunch or dinner in the pub downstairs, but the meals looked pretty good. We had booked 3 rooms for 7 people for 2 nights. We had asked (and received confirmation) for a fold out bed (to accommodate a 3rd person in a room), but this was not organised on arrival. The message hadn't been recorded and passed on to the relevant staff. The good news is that the staff working in the hotel on the day went above and beyond and offered us an extra room. We were lucky though that one was available.

- sharryn (8/5): Perfect overnight stay and good meal at hotel - Fresh and clean rooms
Shared bathroom space all nicely recently renovated No lift - a few flights of stairs with luggage
- Alexandra (6/5): Nice room, surprised by the shared bathroom aspect. - Room itself was lovely. Shared bathroom - not clear on the listing.
It is a pub on the Main Street so not unexpected but it’s pretty noisy.

- Margie (9/5): -
- Matthew (1/5): Beyond disappointing - We felt mislead as there was no mention in the profile that the rooms had no running water and that our floor had to share two bathrooms which is different to a private bathroom. $220 was far too high for a room without its own bathroom.

- Catherine (4/5): Utterly ruined by noise and unhelpful staff - Nice room On Friday night our room was directly above a live music event. We were given no warning about this event. The singer had a 1 metre amplifier in a tiny pub room, with a drunk and noisy audience. We could not sleep. After the musician finished at 10pm the staff put on loud piped music which penetrated our room very loudly too. Online the closing time is listed as 10.30pm and when I spoke to staff about the noise the response was ‘we’re licensed till midnight’ they did turn the music down slightly but still we couldn’t sleep until it finally went off at 11.11pm. Staff couldn’t care less that we had paid $300 for the room. When you pay for a bed, you expect to sleep. We had an early start the next day and wanted to go to sleep at 9.30pm.

- Justine (6/5): Pleasant - Decor was really nice No mirror in room or tissues. Very simple additions that would make the room so much more comfortable. A room without a mirror is very strange.
- Melissa (10/5): Great! - The staff member with the ponytail was really nice and helpful, and made the experience very enjoyable. He was friendly, smiley, and kind his positive attitude made a great impression. I didnt realise that the toliets were public but makes sense since the price.

- Mary (8/5): okay - location very central to where I was travelling to No mirrors in the room
there was a kettle and milk - but NO TEA NO COFFEE and no cups
- Sharon (10/5): - Location, cleanliness and comfort. N/A
- Christine (5/5): Uncomfortably stifling - T No air-conditioning/fan in the room. The room was stifling hot. The toilet seats were broken. (Very dangerous)
Unacceptable.. Would not recommend this place. Did not eat here
- Brian (4/5): Clean , great staff, was so hot I couldn’t sleep - No A/c or ensuite
- Elizabeth (9/5): Great - Beautiful place very comfey, affordable. We just enjoyed our night thankyou
Keep up with the good job you all do Nothing
- Neil (7/5): -
- Mel (6/5): Mittagong - Resturant and bar downstairs. Staff were very friendlly. I disn't realise bathrooms were shared with other guests. There was no sink in our room. The only light in our room was a lamp. Limited powepoint plugs.
- Belinda (8/5): Pretty room, comfy bed, too many stairs. - This is an old hotel however it is tastefully restored. Top floor for over 70s is a bit of a slog. A warning should be in the details somewhere. Bed super comfy. Sadly no mirror in our room and no water. Stairs, lack of mirror.
- David (1/5): - No hot water for shower!
- Gerard (7/5): - Very comfortable cosy room. Cold showers and food was a little underwhelming.
- Mulholland (10/5): - Convenient, comfortable and affordable with friendly staff
- Aquilina (1/5): -
- Emma (8/5): - Great size room with a comfy bed and fan (an essential for summer). Maybe look at adding fly screens to the bathroom windows to reduce bugs flying in at night.
- Houston-Gee (10/5): -
- Mark (9/5): -
- Janice (5/5): It’s ok. Bathroom a long walk from room: - Bed was comfortable No paper towel in bathroom. No teaspoon in room. Way too expensive when there is no private bathroom.
- Duan (7/5): -
- Will (10/5): -
- Julie (10/5): - Clean, modern and cosy
- TravellerDU_101 (10/5): - Great staff and super tidy
- Angela (3/5): No bathroom, no airconditioning, not super clean - poor value for money. - The rooms in this heritage hotel have been tastefully updated and the bed was comfortable. The room isn't air-conditioned, so it was very very hot in the room and given it's upstairs from a public bar, too noisy to open the windows the shared bathroom is down the hall (moderately clean but I didn't fancy showering), there was the faint smell of cigarette smoke in the room and some of the furnishings needed a decent vacuum to remove debris etc. Not good value for money.
- David (10/5): -
- Hannah (8/5): -
- Kate (9/5): - Comfy bed, easy access, friendly staff. Could use a box of tissues in the room? Put flyscreen on the windows?
- Debby (5/5): Considerable noise from the road. Hotel should invest in double glazed windows - decor and outside facade and restaurant food looked good (but did not taste) noise from the road, the share bathrooms not well designed. didn't have a kettle in my room and took 2 asks for it to be provided
- Marija (6/5): -
- anthony (8/5): -
- fritzlh (6/5): Central, considerate staff, good pub food available, comfortable bed. Access to rooms could be chall - N/a First room offered was up 50 steps with shared bathroom and toilets. Given our age manager upgraded us to ensuite with 30 step access.
- Mitchell (6/5): -
- Mark (8/5): -
- Katharine (8/5): - Newly renovated, clean and quiet Shared bathroom wasn’t ideal
- Liz (8/5): Clean, comfortable and well located. - Very comfortable room and clean.
Convenient location and great to be able to eat in the bar and restaurant. Nothing to dislike.
- Rosemary (9/5): I was there to meet friends. - Very convenient to railway station and shops. Also a great view outside of the war memorial. Nothing disliked.
- Andrew (5/5): - Rooms were very and the bed very comfortable. Great location in Mittagong and staff very friendly and helpful. There are two bathrooms shared between possibly 10 rooms, which makes them busy. The toilet seat in one of the bathrooms was completely broken and needed to be romoved from the toilet and repositioned every time. When lots of other people are using the same toilet it's a bit unpleasant. Bathrooms needed more frequent cleaning.
- ozden (8/5): -
- Donna (5/5): - comfortable bed Our room was on the first floor corner near the stairs so we heard people coming and going all night long. At 5.30am the cleaners came in and banged around downstairs and then they started vacuming at 5.45 am which was loud.
We were moved to this room because they couldn't find the key to our original room when we arrived. It would appear that the rooms on the next floor up are situated down a corridor and so these would be quieter.

- Rebecca (7/5): - Loved the refurbishment, the restaurant meal was delicious and the staff super friendly Hwever our bathroom did not not like it has been cleaned properly, hairs on toilet and toilet bowl was dirty along with basin sink. A shame as the rest of the experience was great, only to be tarnished by basic cleaning practices. We had to use our own sterile wipes to clean the bathroom ourselves
- Aaron (10/5): -
- Fiona (4/5): Overpriced !!!!! - Showers didn’t work properly. For the money $160. There was very little given EG shared bathroom , having to walk up 4 levels of stairs. And it was noisy on the road. Good bed.
- Helen (4/5): Overpriced - There is no private bathroom and toilet, it’s shared
- Sophia (8/5): -
- Jodi (10/5): -
- Emma (6/5): -
- Angus and Jane (8/5): Aesthetically refurbished hotel rooms in convenient location - Great location and good value for Mittagong Unfortunately our shower drain was blocked and consequently flooded the bathroom - staff were notified at our deparature.
- Indrek (10/5): -
- Kathryn (8/5): - The room was huge and lovely. Bed was super comfortable. Check in process with the bartender was not a great experience and was stressful.
- Yunshan (8/5): -
- Jordan (9/5): -
- Jonathon (8/5): - Large comfortable rooms King rooms have shared bathrooms. You need to book the suites to have your own ensuites. Shared bathrooms were really clean and shared amongst only a couple of rooms.
- Casboult (10/5): -
- gary meyers (8/5): -
- Ken (7/5): It was adequate but not worth the cost - The bed a=was comfortable and the the room was adequate Dirt/dust in the corners, uncleaned coffee cups (had stains), no tissues, TV in poor lcation
