• Santos (4/5): - I stayed with my dog just after Easter & enjoyed the stay however, this time round only after two & a half weeks was very disappointing. Double the fee & not as friendly. Was told my booking was for a single day when through booking. Com, I was vacating on Monday and not Sunday. Very unfortunate experience & will not return. Don't know who is responsible but my booking was messed up & there was a different charge to the available booking.com rates to the rates charged on-site. Someone is dishonest, not sure who

• James (5/5): It was Ok but next time I'll go elsewhere - Staff was lovely and location was great. Rooms are a really small for 4 people (there are literally 1Q +2S beds but no couch). There is not enough storage - room for 4 has kids size wardrobe but no coat hangers nor any drawers so clothes has to stay in the bags/suitcases/car... Also there was a pet surcharge which was not specified on Bookings.com So for $285 per night I certainly expected more.

• Cheryl (4/5): Noisy and small rooms. Very disappointing. Would not recommend. - The female staff member was friendly and helpful. The room was very small, compared to photos and the carpark is very tight and gravel, so noisy. There was a cockroach in our room as soon as we arrived so we had to ask for insect spray. The staff member helped us to get rid of it. The hotel allows pets and dogs were barking several times during the night. Road noise was loud with sirens and horns beeping. Overall a very sleepless disappointing stay for the price. I would not recommend.

• Narelle (8/5): Thank you for having us. The motel was very comfortable and the room was modern and clean. - Staff were helpful and accommodating. Allowing us to park our trailer on site. Light from neighbouring property and common walkway came through gaps around curtains in bedroom and main room. Perhaps blockout blinds would solve this.

• Sandra (1/5): very RUDE non pet friendly motel - the only thing I liked was the shower 🚿 and the BBQ the staff and the cleaner. Verry Rude and didn't give 30min notice before cheek out. and asked if I was going to re book but wouldn't give me 10min to go out some money from my friends place so I could rebook for the night then told the owner Sam that my room was a mess when it wasn't. then they wouldn't let me wait in the shade with my 2 dogs and made me site outside on the walk way with all my stuff and my 2 dogs with no where to go.

• Erin (9/5): Comfortable stay. - The owner was very helpful, giving us plates, bowls and cutlery for our takeaway. There is no grass so you have to walk your dog out the front, down the road a little for the toilet, our dog gets up twice a night, so a long enough walk to wake you right up.

Naomi placed fresh milk in the fridge so we could make tea or coffee on arrival. It’s the little things that make you return to a place! The whole place is clean and comfortable! On our departure we left some personal items. Naomi phoned us very promptly and we were able to return to collect them. She placed them in reception so it was easy for collection. We would happily stay at the Buccaneer Motel! Even when we arrived which was after check in, the manager came and helped us. We were towing a trailer and made sure it was safely out of the way. It’s great! There’s nothing NOT to like!

• Karinnal (8/5): Nice accommodation - The rooms were modern and very clean and comfortable. Nice and spacious with a cosy bathroom. Good to have a per friendly room. Nice and quiet room at the back of the block off the street as the road can be busy. Need car to get to most areas, but can walk to a couple of cafes near if you wish The price is a little high for this, but we were travelling over peak time unfortunately.

Completely sunk in the middle so you just rolled into each other - very old and needs replacing! The WiFi was terrible - we complained and were given a different password but it cut out about 4 times during watching a film - very frustrating!
