- Amanda (10/5): So peaceful! - Now I have stayed in five hotels in northern India, this charming hotel has been the most peaceful despite Jaipur being busy and noisy. Mrs Singh was so lovely, warm and welcoming. It’s like staying with family, so it’s not a corporate type hotel (good) but I enjoyed it here a lot. Clean Quiet Comfortable. Perfect. I highly recommend it!.

- Ava (10/5): A lovely place to stay - Very hospitable hostess. Was a private house. Large bedroom and sitting room in the beautiful garden. Breakfast and dinner ok. Overall a good and comfortable place to stay.
- nishtha (10/5): Enjoyable and safe stay at this property. - Everything was perfect. Room was clean and organized. Staffs were highly cooperative. Garden in front of our room was very nice TV in the room was not a smart TV.
- Michael (10/5): We’ll be back when next in Jaipur. - Most charming hosts. Mrs Singh runs a great outfit and her approach runs through everything in the very best way.
- Roopa (9/5): Extremely pleasant - The staff room food the family feel and personal touch

- Thomas (9/5): Classy and friendly family run hotel - Family run hotel with super friendly and helpful staff and owners; we felt a serene atmosphere in the hotel and its lush garden highly contrasting with the crowded town around. Squirls and different sorts of birds hopping between the many trees in the area. The rooms have charming old and classy furniture, marble and tapestry. The building is an example of typical post world war II architecture of the high classes.
- Deepak (10/5): Very gracious hosts - Very homely
- Olivia (10/5): Beautiful gardens and a wonderful owner - The hotel was fantastic - it is in a gorgeous old house with beautiful manicured lawns and a large pool. The rooms were beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Mrs Singh is a wonderful host, and the home cooked meals are excellent.

- Greg (10/5): Looking for a charming and calm stay at a great price, this is for you. - I always stay at Hotel Meghniwas in Jaipur as it is a beautiful old building run by a generous and kind owner and trustworthy and helpful staff. The grounds are beautiful with a large outdoor pool, surrounded by lush gardens and the location in Bani Park is very convenient. The rooms are huge, well decorated and very clean. The atmosphere is one of a very calm and quiet private escape and just what I am looking for in busy Jaipur. Highly recommended

- Anita (10/5): Do not miss this exceptional hotel to experience the hospitality of Rajasthan. - I loved everything - especially the carefully curated rooms and the well stocked bookshelves. The owner, Indu, is exceptional. She sets the tone, is warm and welcoming without being intrusive. Attentive and proactive, she anticipates and fulfils all requirements with efficiency and care. Staff were also keen to help and accommodate. The shady outdoor patio was a delight, with a lovely atmosphere of bonhomie with other guests. Breakfast was relaxed, plentiful, healthy. The manager Vikash is wonderful and arranged an excellent guide for Amer Fort and Water Palace and transport for a very reasonable sum. Nothing; it was all good.
- Michelle (6/5): Good location but overpriced based on facilities offered - Spacious clean room
Friendly staff
Good location, close proximity to the centre Not good value for money
Same breakfast everyday
Pool freezing and not cleaned
Extortionate laundry bill
- Steve (8/5): Very good - A wonderful heritage home/hotel with lovely staff and the owners are delightful. The gardens are so well kept and the garden rooms are very spacious.
- Federica (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean room and well maintained property and garden. Excellent service by the owner and staff. Everything we asked was arranged for us, including a yoga teacher. Food was simple and delicious.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (9/5): Timeless - Wonderful staff and owners

- Vasu (8/5): Broad room and moderately clean. Value for money. - I stayed with my family of total 4 adults in 2 rooms. It was a very short stay I was looking for (less than 24 hrs) and exactly met my expectations. My purpose was not to stay in hotel or enjoy the premises. We just needed a comfortable bed for sleep and clean bathroom to get get ready. We got both. When asked for Irob box they provided immediately. Bed was spacious. It was really a clear value for money. We asked for 2 hr late checkout and they could accommodate. Got enough hot water without issues. Sofa was dirty. Did not feel like sitting on it (not required also any way). Room was sprayed with some room freshner..it smelled like Sweet Pan. It was strong initially and slowly became normal. I can not ask for super clean and fresh room for what I paid in a City like Agra... that too on Chrismas day which was peak load of tourists. Hence, I am giving good rating for the Cleanlyness. Its JUST a relative rating for the money I paid. There are issues on cleanlyness
- Leona (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely time in Hotel Meghniwas! The room was large, comfortable, and very clean, the garden is beautiful and peaceful to relax in, and the family that run the hotel are really lovely. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Jaipur!
- Shivangi (9/5): Superb - Loved the ambience and landscaping of the place. Beautifully maintained lawns, greenery, good sized and clean pool, sumptuous healthy food, nicely furnished rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Overall the place has a great vibe to unwind and relax!
- Gorbunova (6/5): Totally not worthy its price. I would not suggest to stay and look for in chain hotels. This is a family hotel and serv - The property looks good, very nice garden.
The room was very spacious. The lady-owner was very nice and helpful. The room is very outdated.
Plugs are loose, I could not charge my phone. It was Feb and pretty cold. There was a heater but he could not help much for this space. It was freezing in the bathroom. Many broken details in the room (hooks, tile and etc).
Even tho the price is high they didn’t provide a dental kit (toothbrush and paste) and body soap/shampoo was the cheapest ones (I could not wash it, had to buy normal ones in the store).
The breakfast was very very very poor. I can list all items: omelette, bread, 2 fruits/berries,yougurt, cheapest cereals and coffee/tea.
No cheese, no any meat. All provided items are literally the cheapest.
The canteen was dirty. Salt, pepper, glass bowls for cereals are all sticky.
- Valentina (8/5): Very good -
- Shaifali (7/5): Pretty Property, Decent Stay - The property is beautiful and peaceful. Very calm and quiet.
The staff is kind and helpful. Very prompt with service requests.
The size of the room is substantial with enough space to store items, and even laze in. Facilities in the washroom work well.
Very simple home cooked breakfast - limited menu.
Wifi connection works well.
Location works well - easy to get autos/taxis from here. The pricing is very high for what is an oldish feel room.
The breakfast menu while simple does demand more - variety / for the room price charged.
The sleep quality was average - the mattresses are a bit old.
- Riya (9/5): Great Property. Breakfast needs improvement - The property is beautiful tucked away from the hustle bustle of the city. It’s a nice palatial property with a homely touch. Loved the owner - Mrs Singh. Money well spent! What could be better:
1. Breakfast needs a big revamp. Since they have a functional restaurant, I would sincerely request the owners to please increase the quantity and variety of food options as part of the breakfast buffet.
2. Intercoms/phone availability in the room.
3. A working television would have been nice in the room.
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Everything !, the staff were absolutely fantastic, from Mrs. Singh the manager, to the very professional duty manager Vikash Sharma, I had to visit the hospital after a monkey scratch, Vikash, with no hesitation took me straight to the hospital, translated for me and waited for me to get my treatment, I believe above and beyond is the description, the hotel is a magical place, an oasis from all the chaos outside, the set meal was fabulous, as was the breakfast, we were sad to leave to be honest.....a superb hotel. Nothing.
- Ashutosh (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Spacious room with very nice furniture and sheets (hand printed cloths from Jaipur). Good equipment including the shower. The breakfast is copious and European style. The staff is really kind and helpful. The location is not the best as it is in front of a big road (although it is very quiet in the room). There is no restaurant or room service for food so you always have to go out to eat lunch and dinner.
- Vavoda (8/5): Very beautiful hotel with swimming pool. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable and have everything you need. Staff wa -
- Iris (10/5): Fantastic hotel in a wonderful part of Jaipur! - We loved everything! The room was huge and tastefully decorated. The bed and all the facilities were so comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful about everything. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, there was so much excellent food on offer. We chose to have our Christmas eve meal there and we thoroughly enjoyed everything and ate many helpings. Our hearts and our bellies were full. The garden was lush and wonderful to sit and relax in with the view of the gorgeous pool. We will definitely be back in the future!
- Caroline (7/5): A clean, comfortable, value for money bed and breakfast with a bit of old world charm. - Our stay at Meghniwas was lovely, it's definitely the people that make it! Staff were helpful and we really felt we were in a home away from home.
The place is a little bit tired, it would have been absolutely beautiful back in the day. It doesn't compete with a lot of the lovely boutique B&B's that have started popping up in Jaipur.
If it was ever of interest, a make over would make this place absolutely incredible! Just a bit tired everything could do with an update. Food offering also feels a bit ordinary compared to other offers but was perfectly adequate for our needs. As a designer, I couldn't help but think of all the possibilities.
- Rob (8/5): Very good -
- Dana (9/5): Superb -
- Udayan (9/5): Lovely, relaxing stay - A lovely place in Bani Park where I've stayed several times in the past -- was there with visiting family this time, we had a really nice, relaxing stay. On our main day in Jaipur it turned out Holi was being celebrated (a day earlier than we thought) and so we spent much of the day in Meghniwas. We had a great time sitting by the poolside and relaxing -- it's a fab place to just chill. A highlight for me were the two resident dogs who gave us company.
I must mention the fabulous homemade food and the very helpful, courteous staff -- makes you really feel at home. The rooms are large and in good shape but the furniture is old and gathering dust. Some of it could easily be dispensed with. The tv didn't work (not that we were going to watch tv).
- Cathryn (9/5): a wonderful hotel with lovely staff and where you could escape from the hectic life of the City - this property is located in a quiet area, our room was spacious and the pool was fabulous a suggestion would be to replace the mattress as it was not comfortable
- Sujit (10/5): Exceptional - The location, staff cleanliness everything was really good. We stayed there for 4 nights.it was pleasant stay. The property was good with a nice garden and lobby Breakfast options should be more.
- Heiko (10/5): highly recommended place if u want to discover amazing jaipur - great place, calm and a bit protected from the noise, spacious rooms and a very nice garden. breakfast is simple, but does the job. really liked it and would def come back anytime! nothing
- Renee (10/5): Fantastic - We stayed here for a whole week at the end of our tour through Rajasthan. The intention was to relax and see the highlights of Jaipur. This was the most excellent and comfortable place to do this. We had a fantastic room overlooking the front garden. The fairly busy road did not disturb at any time and was not visible from the large terrace with lounge. All the staff were incredibly friendly and caring. We felt like visiting family! We had breakfast and dinner every day. It was delicious every time. Definitely a place to visit again! ——
- Grace (8/5): Very good -
- Mohammed (10/5): Exceptional - everything from the location, the staff, the owner, the food, the list goes on it was a home away from home helped us do more from our trip special mention Vikas
- Jl (9/5): A grand stay, with lots of charm. Highly recommended. - It is a beautiful stately home with the charm of yesteryear. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, as are the bathrooms. A lush garden setting. And excellent breakfasts! In hindsight a location closer to the Old Town would have saved travel time in the hectic traffic of Jaipur, but coming home at the end of a long day to a quiet hotel set in a mesmerising garden had its perks!
- Daan (7/5): Good - The place and garden are very nice and the room itself was massive. Quiet and peaceful, but a short ride too the main sights and vibrant center of Jaipur. Personnel was friendly. I don't think we had any room service during our 3 day stay. Breakfast options are a bit limited. Feel like we got better value for our money in other hotels on our trip.
- Peter (10/5): Quiet, peaceful, beautiful vintage decor, nice showers, helpful and cheerful staff, close to the train station - despite being close to a main road, it was peaceful and quiet. The delicious smell of jasmine blossoms greeted us as we entered. Wonderful staff. Wonderful pool. Honestly, not a lot. It was great. If you don’t like dogs, you might not like it. There are two. they are very peaceful and quiet dogs, and we had lots of friendly petting with them.
- Kristen (9/5): Superb - We had the garden rooms that opened on to pool area and it was perfect. staff were attentive and friendly. nice homely feel.
- Kanika (6/5): Over-priced - Owner’s hospitality. swimming pool and a beautiful garden Seems like a PWD guest house and over-priced per the facilities available.
- Mugdha (10/5): Exceptional - Location, rooms and pool were very good. Breakfast was good. Nothing
