• Jagila (10/5): It was a wonderful stay a short distance from Leicester city centre and some nice food options a short drive from the ac - It was clean, tidy and easily accessible. Quiet if you can ignore the sound of passing traffic. It was very comfy, cozy and had a lot of items that made it a convenient stay We enjoyed walking around the fishing ponds and taking in the scenery. The sound of passing traffic especially on a national highway was distracting due to the proximity of the rooms and room but not enough to ruin the experience.

• Marc (10/5): Clean, warm and comfortable. - Easy to collect keys. Host was friendly and communicative with my queries pre-arrival. Accommodation was warm, clean and comfortable and well stocked with utensils etc. If I'm being really sinical, I'd probably take my own pillow if staying again as i found them a bit hard. Hardly a criticism though. Nothing else really, great job.

• Emma (6/5): Okay but wouldn’t stay again. - It was okay. Location suited us. Cabin was tired and needs cosmetic work. The bathroom has a damp smell whiz was off putting. But linen and bathroom clean. Wardrobe area was very dusty. Area outside cabin had a lot of litter and general area shabby.

The staff were super friendly and always on hand if we needed anything. The staff came to check how we were fishing and were so polite and welcoming. I will definitely return. Nothing at all! • Rachel (6/5): - Very peaceful surroundings. Helpful was readily given when I needed it. There was a dishwasher but no oven. The key to lock the door wouldn't work so If it hadn't been for the floor to ceiling windows and a phone signal I would have been stuck inside. Fortunately I was able to exit through the window and a new lock was fitted the following morning at a time suitable for me. There were strong winds during my stay and the noise of the wind moving the air vents made constant loud noise which disturbed my sleep on both nights.

• Robert (10/5): Fantastic escape to peace - Stayed in the Kingfisher Lodge for a weekend's fishing. The lodge was fantastic -warm, comfortable, super clean, and seemed nearly new. Instructions for entry clear and super WiFi, though tried to stay off my phone and enjoy the absolute peace of the lake with cafe/ fishing tackle shop on site. Will be back soon. Superb. Nothing.

It's not large but with the bed, kitchenette and large area as one room, it felt spacious. Small deck area for sitting outside too if the weather is kind. Everything looks like new and is very clean. Check in was very easy and the owner polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend as a good base for a few days. Nothing.

• Sally (9/5): A very pleasant stay - Beautiful clean cabin. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Beautiful towels. Very friendly host. Lots of traffic noise from the road right beside it but used the fan provided to block out the noise. Provide all cooking appliances but would be really helpful if there were a few condiments like oil and salt and pepper. Only provided one small soap and one small tube of bath gel for two people for two nights. Huge log blocking steps down to the water. Stepped over it to have another piece of timber underfoot. Almost fell.

Accommodation was lovely, we had a great time. Would have preferred the fishing cost included with the accommodation price, but no trouble arranging it. Step over the log to get to the peg was a little awkward, perhaps that could be changed to less of a trip hazard.

It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the peace and quiet of the countryside. The accommodation was cosy, comfortable, and spotless—clearly cared for with attention to detail. Whether you’re looking to relax, enjoy nature, or just escape the hustle of everyday life, this place ticks all the boxes. Can’t recommend it enough—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great views of the lake and enjoyed watching the locals fish in the morning haha. Only down side I would say is the mattress and as soon as you lay down you literally sink in it and with someone with a bad back wasn’t ideal but we managed.

Instructions on how to get there were very clear, and it was a very cosy accommodation. Very clean, Internet was surprisingly fast, and we had Netflix for free. Also, there is plenty of room to park cars of any size. Will be back soon with more people. Can't say there was anything I disliked to be honest. There wasn't an iron but that's not a standard thing to have.

Kitchen area clean and functions better than I anticipated. Plenty of television options, and roomy considering. Heating and cooling options were perfect. Blinds don't *quite* extend the full length of the windows at the bottom - would have appreciated perhaps an extra privacy curtain or similar for the night time. Literally my only negative point.
• Angela (10/5): We enjoyed the stay. Property is quite small, but was plenty big enough for us for a 2 night stay - Property was very clean with good decor. We liked the bathroom. Sufficient room for hanging clothes. Having a private balcony was nice - this over looked a fishing lake. Nothing really, although we had to move table and chairs from the balcony inside, as there wasn't anywhere to sit for breakfast inside and the weather was not good enough to eat outside.
