• Carolyn (10/5): Gorgeous accommodation in Northumberland coast - Amazing early 1900s property with stunning garden. Hosts make sure you feel at home and rooms are very elegant and comfortable. Best breakfast we had on our driving trip so far. Close to Warkworth village pubs and restaurants, lake walk and castle. Highly recommend for short or longer stay in Northumberland coast. Nothing

My dad said it was the best guest house he had ever been to and that, in terms of comfort, it felt more like a hotel. He particularly appreciated Mandy's warm welcome, attention to detail and kind hospitality and how beautiful the property was.

• Anthony (10/5): Fairfield House is a true gem. - It is rare to find such a well presented and loved property, not just the house but also the garden. The decor in every room was superb, showing the owner has a keen eye for style and colours. The welcome was warm and genuine and we were quickly made to feel comfortable and individual; this extended to the superb extensive and freshly prepared breakfast. I have nothing negative to say.

The owners are very welcoming and hospitable, the accommodation is comfortable and to a high standard. We enjoyed our 2night stay immensely I didn't like that I couldn't of stayed longer

The property is delightful and exceptionally well kept and spotlessly clean. We would say without a shadow of doubt that Fairfield House is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The breakfast menu offered excellent choice and the food was delicious and beautifully presented.

Our room was very well appointed with a very comfortable bed and a lovely en suite. Lots of lovely little touches. There was a great breakfast choice and everything was beautifully cooked and presented. It’s a short walk from the main part of the village, but we liked having a stroll out in the evening.

Even details such as excellent mirrors and lighting made all the difference. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here and hope to come back soon. Nothing, it was wonderful.

• Ian (10/5): WHEN CAN WE RETURN? - We have stayed before and can only say it is the most exceptional place to stay with wonderful hosts who make you feel totally welcome. Breakfast is outstanding, one couldn't say otherwise and in fact the whole time spent there was simply wonderful. Wonderful to relax in such beautiful gardens and surroundings, you feel you want to stay there forever. Not one single thing. Four words but totally true

• Stephen (10/5): Perfect place to unwind and use as a base for visiting the area. - Fairfield House was spotlessly clean and well kept. The breakfasts were cooked to perfection and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The garden was well tended and we managed to find time to wander round it to admire the gardener's handiwork. There was nothing at all that could be improved (OK - the typical weekend motorway network was slow at times, but that is outside the control of Fairfield House!)

• Dan (10/5): Pure luxury - It is almost impossible to describe how wonderful our stay at Fairfield House was. Mandy and Kevin are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable and have the perfect stay. The room was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished and there are too many extra details to mention, although I will say we couldn’t wait to get back each day to sample Mandy’s homemade cakes! Breakfast was amazing, an incredible choice of options and the quality of the ingredients and presentation was superb. We felt completely at home, and were made to feel so welcome. I cannot recommend Fairfield House highly enough, it offers luxury accommodation in the perfect location for exploring Northumberland. Thank you to Mandy and Kevin for what was simply the perfect stay.

As well as providing first class food for breakfast the range of choice is truly exceptional. They could put many larger establishments to shame. No complaints. It would be petty to criticise such an excellent place.

The setting and property is just beautiful, Mandy is so warm and welcoming and our room was lovely and well-equipped. I think Mandy’s breakfast are becoming world-famous, as all the guests told us how great they are - but the breakfast, fruits, juices and granola and the dining room were all out of this world! Mandy’s cakes are also fantastic. I just can’t say how much we enjoyed Fairfield House, it really is a dream and we can’t wait for our next stay. Thank you so much.
