Guest Reviews
- Sharlean (7/5): Not as good as it could be - The location of the property is perfect for getting to the beach and the corner shop is very useful. There was a broken chair in the lounge on arrival.
Then one of dining room chairs broke and my son fell off of it whilst eating his dinner.
I've reported both of these issues and heard nothing back.
The bathroom door still sticks and there was no light bulb in the dining room lamp.

- Regina (8/5): - The place was beautiful there was just a few damages when we got there but everything was catered for nd it was immaculately clean the beds were uncomfortable but clean nd the room chair was broken nd stains on the toilet floor nr the bath the blind in the room was also broken apart from that it was beautiful The beds was nt comfortable nd the damages spoilt it otherwise it was lovely
- BazaMc (10/5): Trip with friends. - Accommodation was excellent, loved the little quotes and picture's to, was very clean i, great communication to ,ideal for a small family, small group of friends well equipped.
- Harriet (10/5): We had a lovely stay and it was perfect for what we needed. - Perfect location, 10/15 minute walk to the seafront. House was lovely, clean, quiet and my children enjoyed the games.
Toilet roll and towels were provided. One of the rooms has plug sockets covered by the beds. It’s the only way the room can be laid out but I’d recommend an extension lead so access to those sockets is possible.

- Louise (10/5): Excellent experience family holiday - It was such a nice place for our first family holiday together. And it was all so lovely and cosy, and we had such a good time. That we had to return home. 😔
- Stephen (9/5): Lovely place, highly recommended. - Very clean, recently decorated, well positioned for our needs, good sized bedrooms, large area downstairs for socialising. We might have just misunderstood or overlooked our responsibilities, but late on the first night, we realised there was no spare toilet paper, and the 5 of us had used the one partial roll. Easily solved the next morning at the very friendly corner shop, but the night was touch and go.
- Marydoll (9/5): Superb - Great location. Lovely decor. Quiet street. Lack of supplies, ran out of loo roll on first night. Son found long black hairs in middle bedroom
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerri (6/5): Property was a great size and had the basic facilities. Disappointed that it states on the booking.com write up that the -
- Joanne (8/5): Lovely stay - Lovely home Bathroom upstairs
- Josh (8/5): Very good -
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - So bright and colourful and very clean N/A
- Michele (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and clean, would stay again. A pint of milk in fridge would be a nice to do.
I couldn't find a hairdryer.
- Suzanne (10/5): Great break; communication, property and location were all ideal for our family holiday, thank you - Couldn’t fault it - very clean with everything needed for our short break. N/A
- Hawkins (9/5): Superb - House was perfect. Everything we needed. Very comfortable safe garden for grandchildren Street wasn't the nicest. But that didn't bother us too much. Toilet was far away from bedrooms and has I struggle with stairs which were very steep the walk from stairs to bathroom in middle of night wasn't good for me. All these can't be changed obviously
- Sara (9/5): Superb - Very good value for money The bathroom had a damp smell
- Carly (10/5): Nice house - The house was lovely, everything that you would need for a comfortable time away Nothing
- Diane (10/5): Had a nice carefree stay, amazing. - It was clean, had everything we needed, the staff were amazing. My only criticism is the back garden could do with a tidy, but we didn’t use it because we only went to see family.
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Clean everything you can need and pet friendly No complaints
- Sarah (7/5): Lovely house, great location - Lovely decor and very clean , however there were only 5 chairs to the dining table and 4 cups and there were 6 of us Just the lack of equipment
- Rebekah (8/5): Very good - Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Love the vibrant decor. Walking distance from the front. Could hear the neighbours from time to time, but nothing major or too late at night.
- Katie (10/5): A fabulous, cosy wintery break by the sea. - A really well presented house with plenty of space for everyone. We loved the decor. The only criticism (and it’s very minor) was that there wasn’t a hair dryer and only one toilet roll.
- Julia (8/5): In the main very happy indeed apart from our concerns! - The location and ability to park outside. The property is very nicely decorated and looks like the carpets are fairly new plus it was really clean and hygienic which is very important to us!! No handwash, no paper towels, no hairdryer and bedding not ironed :(( In every place we have stayed there has been a welcome pack including things like milk. It's a nice thing for visitors to have especially after a long drive and it's thoughtful from hosts!!
- Cj (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location for a weekend away walking distance to the centre and the football ground
- Slcrofts (9/5): what a gem - bigger than it looks, great for a family.
would definitely use again. parking can be a bit tricky.
- James (10/5): Great modern house in a great location - Great location plenty of parking nice clean property, really comfy beds would definitely stay again Communication isn’t great, asked for both the king sized beds to be made into 4 singles but only one was split
- Natalie (8/5): Very good -
- Phil (9/5): Its a lovely house despite the security issues - bright property and easy access to the house
It was roomy
Decore was good
Furnishings comfortable including the beds Was not enough mugs - there was only 3 which had been mentioned on previous reviews
Only 1 pot towel provided so bought some, could have done with a pot brush
no first aid pack
Some downstairs windows could not be secured as the arm brackets were broken, so these were easy access, those with locks had no keys
In the living room, the easy chair arms would come from joints as you stood up so this was not used
Dining chairs need tightening as they are loose
No instructions for any of the electrical kitchen appliances including the oven
Could not see the power rating for the microwave
- Kymm (5/5): Enjoyed the break won’t stop here again as cleaner was so rude and needs to learn customer service - Nice house cool decor , bed and sofas uncomfortable . Very rude staff Cleaner really rude made us feel unwelcome , got a email saying can ring owner at any time rang twice once to see if we can drop our stuff in early and go straight out and one to ask about parking never answered nor ever rang back then got a email to say they won’t charge us for arriving early 😂 cleaner was so rude stomping around when saw we had arrived early to pop our stuff even tho we made zero mess even left it clean and tidy
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Crowther (8/5): Very good -
- Angela (10/5): Excellent thank you. - Excellent property very clean excellent location would definitely stay again😊 Everything
- Yanina (10/5): Lovely place at the seaside. - Everything was very nice. The place was very pretty and I was not expecting the bedrooms to be big. My favourite part was the living room. I end up finding board games, was sweet to have. It was very close to the seaside. I give this place 5 out 5. I know this not the owner fault. Only down side was this three woman outside the house talking to each other, one them was taking photos of this building and was talking about people coming in and out this place. Made me feel unsafe. Because was not sure if that woman had problem with this places, with different people staying in almost every few different days. I was glad nothing bad happened, but did not like it when someone was taking photos of the house we in it and talking about people in their.
- Rachel (9/5): Comfy and convenient - Lovely spacious and airy house. Well equipped, beds comfy and outside space ok.
Easy check in Sleeps 6. Only 4 mugs and 5 dining chairs.
Bathroom door sticks and doesn't lock
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional - We loved this place, our stay was amazing. It was so homely and me the wife and kids loved it. Thank you so much for having everything ready so we could check in early.
Kindest of regards,
Nick
- Jeremy (9/5): A very comfortable stay - Very spacious and spotlessly clean. Well equipped and comfortably furnished. Lovely kitchen and bathroom - looked brand new. Nice touches like tea, coffee and fresh milk in the fridge. The bedrooms were all a good size and very comfortable with quality pillows, linen and towels. Easy access with the key safe. Not really a criticism as it is clear from the description and photos, but no upstairs loo
- Linda (8/5): Great for one night. - Really clean. Nicely decorated. The stairs are very steep. There weren’t any instructions in the house. No email sent before our stay as stated there would be. Couldn’t find WiFi code. Also couldn’t find any glasses.
- Dean (9/5): Superb -
- Stacie (10/5): Great location with on street parking. - Great location. The owner & cleaner were very friendly and helpful. The place was spotless had everything you needed. Would definitely stay here again
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (5/5): You get what you pay for. Nice and clean but not in the last location - Inside it was clean and had all the facilities you needed The location. It’s nearer Grimsby then Cleethorpes. Parking not great and area was not the best.
Couldnt work the hob as no manuals or instructions and it was locked with a child lock. Managed to reset it by removing the power but had to dine out before I resolved it.
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Clean, well decorated, everything you needed. Comfy beds.
- Matt (8/5): A really fantastic house, amazing quality of finish. We had a superb time and would like to personally thanks the owners - The property itself was really good and the refurbishment was excellent, we cannot criticise the finish in any way, it was really superb. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's warm, modern, superb smart TV's and all appliances and equipment needed for a stress free stay. Just feedback really to help the owners. It would be great if the rear yard was secure, the gates don't close too well.
The bathroom needs towel rails / hooks, otherwise the radiator will just rot if people use it to dry towels on.
We were short on 'forks' for some reason, however there was loads of spoons, knives etc.
It would be great if an upstairs toilet could be fitted.
May be consider some coat hooks on entrance, as it's a bit of a pain having to walk into the dining room to hang your coat up.
I didn't receive ANY emails from the agent, even though they message via booking.com stating that they had sent a preference email, and the house rules / guidance documents. I checked my emails, junk folders etc.
- Roz (8/5): Very good -
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Jo (8/5): Great stay and had everything we needed - very clean, had everything we needed the heating was on constantly.
- Chris (10/5): Comfy, clean & spacious - Property was amazing for a group of 6. Very clean, spacious and had everything we could need for the stay. Beds were comfy and the option to make twins was great. Location of the property is a short walk from Cleethorpes with local shops nearby also. Check in was simple ! Nothing
- Marianne (10/5): Just wow! Great place to stay. - Fabulous house for a family group. Great facilities.Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful decor and furnishings throughout. Spotlessly clean.
Easy check in and out.
- Lisa (8/5): Lovely clean and comfy house - The house was beautiful, really lovely and kitted out well. Very comfy and very clean.
All the rooms are a good size, lounge and diner are lovely comfortable spaces and kitchen/ bathroom nice too. The parking is on road and first come first served. With parking both sides of the road, if you drive down the Rd you have to reverse out as there's nowhere to turn. It's not really any reflection on the house which is brilliant, but worth noting for drivers staying.
Would also be nice for the garden to be clear if we were to stay again in the summer.
