• Stephan (8/5): Convenient location with decent space to stay for a night. - The location is quite good in the South part of the island close to a grocery store and a number of nice restaurants. Spacious room with a nice bathroom. The bed was not very comfortable and too short. Our feet touched the foot rail of the bed during the night. The room could have been cleaner in the corners of the carpets. Not easy to carry larger luggage up very steep and windy staircases.
• maria dolores (6/5): Decepcionante - Atención del personal fue muy cercana, aunque solo nos comunicamos por mensajes dado que había auto check-in La ubicación. Nuestra habitación estaba en la planta de abajo y se oían las pisadas continuas de la habitación de arriba porque era una cabaña de madera. Por otra parte, la habitación estaba ubicada a escasos metros de una carretera, era muy desagradable escuchar los ruidos de camiones y coches desde las 5:00 am. Las almohadas tan duras que era imposible dormir sobre ellas. En definitiva, relación calidad/ precio absolutamente desproporcionada. Y el servicio de los restaurantes de los alrededores era bastante deficiente, o estaban cerrados o el que estaba abierto ofrecía mala calidad y precio muy elevado.

Kein Personal vor Ort , Schlüssel steckt bei Ankunft nach Verständigung per e- mail . Bei Abreise kein Check out.
• Thomas (10/5): Great comforts of home - Wonderful well accommodated rooms. Very spacious with great space. Fridge. Heated towel rack!! Great parking. Had to drive more to get to Skye but not too bad. Restaurants were quite crowded.

• Mario (10/5): Bellissimo - La posizione è la caratteristica casa all’inglese. Struttura molto bella, ma essendo a ridosso della strada si sente molto il transito dei veicoli, questo molto probabilmente anche dovuto dal fatto che non è insonorizzata e poi faccio notare che la porta che comunica con il bagno è molto bassa, pertanto essendo alto mt 1,90, dovevo fare attenzione altrimenti ci sbattevo la testa, ma anche una persona più bassa avrebbe dovuto fare attenzione, per il resto tutto bene.

If I had to point out anything, the room is a bit small for four persons, but it wasn’t really problem for us. It’s more than enough if you just need a place to sleep.

• Francesca (5/5): Desideravo un soggiorno più “ comodo”… - Il parcheggio La stanza troppo piccola per 4 persone Quando siamo arrivati era fredda ( non riscaldata) I cuscini del letto grossi e duri, impossibile usarli per dormire Nessuna superficie di appoggio Il bagno non riscaldato e acqua fredda. Il riscaldamento lo abbiamo acceso noi ma sarebbe carino quando si raggiunge la struttura , di trovarla accogliente da questo punto di vista soprattutto quando fuori fa freddo e abbiamo risolto anche il problema dell’acqua calda ( il gestore dice di aver attivato l’impianto di un’altra camera … Diciamo che se dovessi ritornare sulla isola di Skye non tornerei in questo B&B, mi dispiace

• Trish Scanlan (10/5): Fabulous 💕 - We loved everything about Bellfield house. The location was excellent for our visit to the Isle of Skye. The room was amazing with excellent facilities like mini fridge and microwave. The room was spotless and the host was very responsive to messages. I couldn't fault anything.

• Julie (7/5): Didn’t quite pan out - The host was awesome. The location is on the main road into town so you cold heat traffic go by. You can’t walk to anything but I think we knew that. Staying on the Island of Skye is price and limited accomidations. This is more of a room in a hotel, it had a microwave and small frig.The problem for us and I know it’s temporary but it is an active building/construction zone. They are work8 g on the property. None of the 4 of us could take showers the firs5 night as when we returned From dinner there was no hot water, I messaged the host and he said the Electrition had been there and forgot to turn on water heater back on, he said he turned it on and we would have hot water in 90 min, it took much longer as water heater is 500 gal. Of the four of us the last one ran out of hot water. The following morning we were woke up at 6:45 by fire alarms going off intermittently so we dressed and went outside. I msg the host again and he apologized and said the contractor ran a shower and the steam set it off. The other couple was left up well after midnight by the famile down stairs talking loud so not much sound insulation.

• amandine (6/5): - Chambres propres. La chambre 1 est grande et adaptée pour 1 couple avec 2 enfants. Il y a de quoi prendre un café dans la chambre, un mini frigo et micro-onde (chambre 5 également). La salle de bain est propre et fonctionnelle. . La chambre 5 est trop petite pour 4. Difficile de mettre les valises. Elle serait mieux pour 3 en enlevant 1 lit.

• Megan (8/5): Great location, lovely rooms and super helpful owners - The owner was lovely and really helpful. The decor was really nice and the microwave and fridge were great. Pillows were a little hard although that’s just a personal preference.

Co-op grocery Food store was very close to get some snacks. Many restaurants near by. Staff was super friendly the whole family. Easy to check in and out. Great value for the money.
• Lukasz (8/5): Room 1 is great for a small family stay - Freshly refurbished and very nicely done Very friendly host TV positioning means you can't watch it from the bed property is on a bend of a busy road with near continuous traffic, but luckily you can't hear it from the room you can hear conversations and noises coming from host's house. not a massive issue though, but may make some people uncomfortable as of Apr 26 the site is not finished yet (parking still being done), but it wasn't a massive disturbance no kitchenette (would be a nice addition, but it wasn't advertised so no issue) - as it happens I had to make a pizza in a microwave and with help of hairdryer (it worked nicely!)
• Heiko (7/5): - Die Ausstattung bis auf den Tisch war gut. Der TV hat nicht funktioniert und es gab keinen kleinen Esstisch im Zimmer, nur einen Schreibtisch im Eck. Der Platz wäre da. Leider war es sehr kalt und die Heizung zu schwach. Diese war vor unserer Ankunft auch nicht an. Baumwoll Bettwäsche wäre besser als Microfaser.

The room is excellently furnished with lots of practical things like a iron, hairdryer, fan, microwave, hot water machine, plenty of storage for your clothes etc. the bathroom was a real highlight! Huge bathroom with a massive stand alone bath and separate huge shower, perfect for having a nice soak after a long day. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and approachable and gave us tips on things to do. 10/10 and would highly recommend this place it was good value for money.

There was a kettle with tea and coffee service for the morning. We picked up some biscuits in town for an easy quick breakfast before starting the day. Parking is tight but manageable

• Jodi (10/5): - Bellfield House was easy to locate and there was parking provided. It was well located for the places we wanted to travel to. It was warm and quiet. All the things we needed.

• Louise (8/5): Lovely stay - Everything you could need in the room. We got a lovely room upgrade which was beautifully decorated and with an amazing bathroom. Host was very friendly and helpful. Although it doesn't say in the description there is tea and coffee provided. Great to have a small fridge in the room too (a bit noisy at night), and there is access to a microwave in the common area. Iron and ironing board, hairdryer and fan too. TV. Lots of drawers/storage. The bed was a bit soft and springy for my taste but husband didn't have a problem.

• Ferguson (10/5): Wonderful stay - Rooms were extremely comfortable and well appointed. We even had a mini fridge and use of a microwave. All amenities were excellent and all queries were answered within minutes. Would highly recommend this facility and will stay here again.

• Chinique (10/5): Great place on the Isle of Skye - The room was incredibly spacious, and as others have mentioned- an amazing bathroom. We spent 28 days around all of the UK & Ireland, and this was the best accommodation we had that wasn't a standard hotel. It would be good if they could offer a continental breakfast or communal kitchen only because the breakfast places close by don't open until 9:30/10am, which wasnt ideal for us who had planned some big days in the area and were out the door by 7am. But the rest of the facilities were fantastic (and there is a microwave in the corridor, I believe). Tight staircase, can't be helped.
• Sheyla (6/5): No lo recomiendo para viajar con niños. - Baño amplio, ducha con fuerza y agua caliente. Hervidor para hacer café o té. Nevera pequeña que enfriaba bien. Habitación bien decorada, con moqueta. Cama justa de tamaño para mi gusto, cómoda. Para estar en plena carretera no se notaba casi nada el ruido, Secador de pelo. Nos tocó habitación en 1 planta, que habiendo puesto en la reserva que íbamos con una niña de 2 años y un carro pues fue un poco lio. Pedimos cuna para una niña de 2 años, aceptaron la petición. Cuando llegamos allí solo estaba la cuna, ni colchón, ni sábanas, ni manta, ni nada. Le hablé a ver si era posible algo y me dijo que no vestían la cuna, solo la ponían. Si vas a ofrecer cuna, hazlo bien (y cuesta bien poco) que es inhumano. Tuvimos que hacer con toallas el colchón y taparla con una manta de adorno de la cama.

• Pamela (7/5): Pleasant stay. - Spacious family room with separate area for single beds. Although on the main road room was quiet. Good facilities - hotwater on tap, microwave in hall, fridge. The single room had a slight damp smell o it, due to a leak from upstairs (owner had made us aware of staining on roof when we arrived). Rooms a little cold as radiator in main room and bathroom need bled as only warm at the very bottom. Double bed quite small as only a queen size. We aren't particularly big people and found it a tight fit. Noisy pipes, possibly due to air in radiators.

I especially appreciated the plenty of power outlets of different types, including European ones. The shower and bathroom were very comfortable, and it was great to be able to adjust the heating temperature. Thank you for such a wonderful place! _

• Hoberman (7/5): Okay but not great - The shower was good and the room was a decent size (for UK). I also enjoyed the heated towel rail in the bathroom. Located on a busy road. The mattress is lumpy and bouncy. I thought this was too expensive for what it is.

At the same time the bathroom was bigger than the room. The bathroom mattress was not hygienic.
