- Miriam (10/5): Was a lovely stay that was close to town and had all the facilities we needed. Julie also was quick to reply to any quer - Comfortable and spacious. Had all the things we needed to make it a great stay. Location was also great with walking distance close to town.
- Graham (10/5): - Great spot and accomodating owner
- Debbie (7/5): A nice relaxing stay in a comfortable cottage. - Inside was very clean and mostly stocked with what you need. Very spacious and comfortable. Bedrooms nicely made up with towels provided. Loved the backyard and front veranda. Kitchen was stocked with most of what you needed. Hosts were very kind turning the air con on for us so the house was cool when we got there. Lots of spider webs outside around house. No frying pan and a bucket with a split in it. Hot water wasn’t working as the gas must of run out and there were air bubbles in the line. Had to fix it ourselves. Couch area in lounge a bit small. Bed in master bedroom a bit hard. Would be nice if some toilet cleaner was provided.
- Narelle (10/5): Great family weekend away with the dog. - Walking distance to town & bush trails. Light & bright, clean & tidy. Comfortable beds. Backyard was secure & great for the dog.

- Andrew (10/5): Luckily we have a great community day the Hotham Valley train . Seeing all sorts of amazing people and food vans all ove - Clean and smart environment, beautiful surroundings blends nicely with nature in the front yard, birds singing in morning, lovely backyard and veranda, no artificial features but what Mother Nature provides Nice bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms, perfect fit for home away from your own home
- Marian (10/5): A home away from home - Great location, well appointed and comfortable accommodation. Great stock of firewood They need to add tools to use in the fire
- Anna (8/5): Very relaxing, nice and quiet & comfortable. Great location. - The location was excellent, being able to walk into town. The indoor fire was perfect and enjoyed s’mores on the outdoor fire pit.
- Michelle (7/5): Enjoyed our stay but could do better with cleaning - The location was very close to the town. Complete amenities. Large house, great front and backyard. Overall, very homey. Cheapest staycation we can get for an hour of drive. Owner was very hospitable. She texted us on how to get to the property and get the keys. The house was quite dusty with some spider webs. Felt like having some itchy and runny nose as not acclimated with the dust. The dining table, the tea towels and some parts of the house smelled like it had vomit. Washed the towel and wiped the table - the smell instantly gone. Needs more thorough cleaning by the cleaner.
- Jessica (9/5): Lovely space for a family getaway - Fab location with a really beautiful outlook.
Quiet and lots of space.
Great for kids with lots of space outside the front and back.
Loved the fireplace.
- Deering (10/5): Exceptional - There is plenty of room and good location close to town
- Kylie (8/5): Very good -
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - The wood heater, lol, when we got it going. There was plenty of dry wood supplied. Everything we needed was supplied. Beds comfy and clean, Town was in walking distance. The birds in the yard were just lovely. No fire lighters 😢 and not enough toilet paper supplied.
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Dianne (9/5): Superb - The house was great, we all enjoyed our stay. A group of 8 women, everyone had a wonderful time
- Abbie (9/5): In the words of Schwarzenegger "I'll be back!!!" - We loved our stay at Begonia Cottage. The house was perfect for two families and had everything we needed for a Winter escape. It was in a quiet cul-de-sac with bush out the front and a 2 minute walk into the centre of town. We enjoyed the Pinjarra Festival 25 minutes away and Redgum Winery 10 minutes down the road. The house was comfortable and there was heaters in each bedroom together with the wood fire (& plenty of wood) to make it warm and cosy. We loved our stay so much we have already booked for next year. Julie was very responsive with any messages I sent her. There are plenty of games in one of the rooms to keep adults and kids entertained.
Having two bathrooms and two toilets made it comfortable for two families.
We found the house so quiet at night time and slept well.
Kitchen has everything you can need for a weekend away with a lovely view of the backyard. There wasn't anything I could say we didn't like.
The top draw in the kitchen was a little difficult to open and I replaced the light globe in the walk in robe - but I am just trying to find things to not like.
- Tina (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect Location. So peaceful yet close to town.
- Nicole (8/5): Very good -
- Linda (9/5): Great stay & super comfy! - So quite & loved that there is a bedroom & ensuite separate from the other bedrooms Nothing!
- Dawn (9/5): We had a lovely time staying at the ABB and Dwellingup in general. - The location met our needs The only thing that was annoying was how long it took for hot water to get to the on suite shower. We thought the gas had run out.
- Susanna (9/5): Everything was excellent, house was very clean and well supplied. -
- Sian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Toni (10/5): Begonia Cottage- 5 stars - This Cottage (more like a house) was so well equipped and so spacious with 4 bedrooms plus a little games room, a huge laundry and kitchen, plus the luxury of 2 bathrooms! Really makes all the difference for larger groups. As a family of 6 we struggle to find accommodation that will fit us all, we did not have that problem here.
The location is perfect, at the end of a cul-de-sac with forest at front of the house and a huge backyard with so many amazing big trees, you feel so secluded in nature and have lots of privacy. Because the house is on stilts and has floorboards, the floors do creak and make a lot of noise, but that's just me trying to find something out of nothing. We loved everything about this house.
- Christian (9/5): Superb -
- Chenade (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eluned (9/5): A quiet, spacious retreat for a large family. - Beautiful location. Large and peaceful back garden. Spacious- plenty of room for the 8 of us (3 generations) Kitchen was well equipped. A few things needed fixing including light globes.

- Vanya (10/5): Exceptional - Location..within town centre...lovely setting.
Spacious house...sufficient accommodation for 8 people.
Kitchen facilities well equipped.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Julie the host was amazing from initially booking right through our stay and post-stay. The cottage was so spacious, clean and everything we needed. We booked for a family reunion and honestly the second we left we rebooked for a mini stay in January and again for the now annual family reunion. Can't wait to stay again! Nothing, everything was above expectation.
- Nigel (8/5): Very good -
- Bridget (10/5): Fabulous, would have loved to stay longer, will definitely be back - Easy to find, well laid out, plenty of space for everyone inside
Peaceful surroundings, relaxing outdoor area, everything we needed
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (7/5): Great location and clean comfortable stay - Good location and very clean, Nothing review simply reflects age of property, it was everything you would expect from this type of house.
- Joanne (9/5): Awesome - Great location, well equipped. The hot water supply was a little temperamental, either very hot or very cold.
- Jennifer (10/5): Fantastic stay, will be back again - Fantastic set up, clean and tidy. Nice and close to town.
- Paula (10/5): Lovely cosy well appointed cottage 5 minute walk to town. - Location great. 5 minute walk to town centre. The house was lovely and catered for 7 people with ease. The kitchen had everything you need. Lovely big table and plenty of seating. Cosy wood fire. Lovely bathrooms and the linen was very nice. Julie our host was very pleasant and made the arrival and stay an easy and pleasant experience. Nothing
