- Jessica (7/5): Great location - Very good location, next to all restaurants and beach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I would recommend the place just keep in mind that is Europe and houses are old so we spent most of our time outside and not in the house. We were there only for the weekend, there is a huge construction right beside the house but since we were there the weekend there was no noise. But I'm guessing that if you stay there for the week....it would be unbearable to stay there so just keep that in mind. Very old place, they tried to put it up to date but bathroom of the years 1920...don't know if it's hard to replace all of it but very very old. But they keep the place clean as much as they can. The dryer does not work properly so keep that in mind just hang it in front of the heater...very cold place since we were there in March but there was a heater in every room which was fine for sleeping.

It couldnt be better I booked a full week here and left after one night. The Booking.com listing said 546 Euro, but they added 110 Euro in cleaning fees in the last stage of the booking and I clicked submit before I noticed it. As it was 100% Non Refundable that was my mistake. Good strategic move from the hosts though. The day before my check in they sent me this message via Booking.com - "Just for your information, some construction work is taking place on the plot next door. We want to be transparent and let you know in advance. Although there may occasionally be some noise during the day, we will do everything possible to minimize any inconvenience and ensure you have a pleasant stay." With no time to find an alternative, I responded with- "thank you for letting me know about the construction. If the noise becomes a problem I will let you know and we can figure it out. hopefully it is not too disturbing, I do work online and it could be a problem, but let's see." That night was rough, there was a big family in the house above the apartment and I amost felt like I was up there with them, but they were nice, did not have a big party. Luckily they did not have a car so I was able to use the one parking space. All other spaces were blocked by the construction. The next morning they fired up the crane and began construction. To call it a distraction would be an understatement. I notified the owner that I couldnt stay and requested a partial refund. Owner refused even a partial refund. The location was great, but everything else about this basement apartment was terrible. I suppose it would be a good place to sleep if the upstairs apartment isnt rented out, because you can literally hear everything through the thin hardwood floors. If you do a Google search you can find the Youtube Short that I posted to share with Booking.com Customer Service- https://youtube.com/shorts/qcKCTPlZEq4 Booking.com did give me a partial refund. 15%. Thank you!
- Vitalinа (2/5): - There was a construction crane standing right in the courtyard, only about 80 centimeters from the front door. The entire area around the building was covered with construction debris. The entrance doors are old and swollen, and when it rained they were very difficult to open. All the plumbing is old and leaking.
