Guest Reviews
- horodenski9 (7/5): - Clear and cozy room. Breakfast was a joke. One slice of bread with jam per person. We had to go out and order breakfast because what the hosts offered could not be called breakfast.
- Mark (7/5): Clean and Spacious - The bedroom and bathroom were very well appointed . Very spacious with thoughtful decor . The accomodation was spotlessly clean . Simple continental breakfast was ok but can't understand 3 small slices of toast for a couple . There was a good size living / kitchenette but no table or chairs . Breakfast had to eaten standing up .
- Deep (10/5): - The property looked better than the pictures. Everything was clean and fresh and i would definitely come back.
- Guest (10/5): We came up for a concert and it was close to the Hunter Valley and shopping centre. Enjoyed our stay. The bed was amazin - Was very luxurious. Nice touches everywhere Nothing
- Orzinski (10/5): - Very clean and generous supply of drinks, board games and more!
- T (8/5): Perfect single night accomodation for us after a wedding up the valley. Neat, tidy and good communication from the host, - Great accomodation, clean, neat and tidy. Everything was fine.
- Matt (8/5): Spacious and sparkling clean in Aberglasslyn. - Spacious, clean and comfortable in Aberglasslyn. Separate bathroom, toilet, lounge and bedroom, and felt like new. All amenities provided for. Lacked an iron and ironing board, bread for the included breakfast, and conversations and TV noise could be heard in the living space (as sectioned off front of house).

- Guest (6/5): we were tired after a 6 hour drive. the bed and bathroom were comfortable and clean respectfully. - Breakfast consisted of cereal, condiments both used and unused. NO Bread provided tho'.
the bed was very comfortable. i was surprised the pillowcases were not ironed.
the unit was clean except for the rubbish bin from the previous renters had been unemptied. (a request from the owner was that we empty our rubbish into the allocated bin outside. we did not see it so we took it with us. we were sent an email on the 12/10/2025 advising there was an ironing board available in the owner's laundry - our checkout date was the 10/10/2025....a bit late.
there was no Microwave to heat food. And as previously noted, there was not bread provided for the condiments, a bit strange we thought.
when we arrived around 2pm the front porch had debris from the surrounding plants. not a problem. it became a problem when the owner started hosing the front porch at 7am. it was next to our room and very loud. Then we were disturbed again when she put on the sprinkler because the water was hitting our bedroom window. consequently, disrupting our sleep.
we felt like it was her way of waking us up to get us on our way.

- Wells (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Graham (1/5): Terrible - NOTHING Firstly, we arrive around 3pm. there was nobody there. We returned around 5pm, again nobody there. Thinking that this was a scam, we sought accommodation elsewhere. On the next day, we meet the owner, who had a lot of excuses as to why we were not meet.
Secondly, when mentioning REFUND we were told we had to apply for that, she was not prepared to help us.
- Kozi (10/5): Luxury stay - We really enjoyed the lovely property. Excellent communication, super clean and modern. Highly recommended. Parking in the street.

- Annabel (10/5): Hampton Haven - Hampton is a really beautiful BnB. It is spacious, clean with ample light. The furnishings are comfortable. It's everything one needs for an overnight or weekend stay.
The owner communicated easily.
The entry process was well explained and simple There is nothing to write here
- Vicki (10/5): Beautifully presented unit. - A beautifully presented, spacious unit with separate areas. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Quiet area but close to restaurants.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Very modern and comfortable No door to main area to close off from rest of house - second door was there but still felt open
- Eric (9/5): Superb - Excellent communication, Good value for money, very comfortable, had almost everything. Location was ok, but not perfect.
A small table with 2 chairs to have breakfast would be only addition.
- Ganesan (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Super Clean and Modern
- Tony (10/5): Overnight stay close to Maitland in quiet clean comfortable accommodation - Easy booking process into an extremely clear and comfortable property. Very comfortable bed and great bathroom and lounge areas. Happy to recommend this accommodation. Nothing
- Douglas (8/5): Good value in outer Maitland - This property is divided as part of the owner's suburban home. The premises is relatively new, in good shape, and quite comfortable. Happily included were many things that even some hotels neglect, such as powerpoints by the bed, counter space round the bathroom sink, and fresh air from opening windows with security screen. The bathroom had a large tub as well as a sizable leakproof shower with good water volume and pressure. The kitchenette had some cereal choices, with two bread slices, with butter and spreads for breakfast, milk and tea/coffee. The place was very quiet and I slept late on a comfortable bed. Everything was clean and tidy with many thoughtful touches from the owner. Parking is at the street curb in front. Considering that the location was distant from dining areas, I bought frozen food for dinner without checking the facilities list. There is no microwave, cooktop or oven to prepare food. An inexpensive microwave would go a long way to solving that issue.
Otherwise the property was perfectly acceptable, and good value.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): We have family in Rutherford & would definitely stay here again! - The host was very welcoming & the location was extremely convenient. Exceptionally comfortable & a hidden treasure, with everything catered for.

- Leonie (10/5): Skip the hassle of staying at a dirty hotel—this accommodation is a true gem 10/10 - Skip the hassle of staying at a dirty hotel—this accommodation is a true gem. Check-in was a breeze with your own private entrance right at the front door. The apartment is fully equipped, featuring a kitchenette with a fridge, luxurious bed linens, plush bath towels, a cozy private lounge with a TV, and a lovely bathroom with a bathtub, bath salts, gorgeous body wash, conditioner, shampoo and a thoughtful addition of a sea sponge. The continental breakfast was delicious, and there were bonus Cokes in the fridge. For the price, this place is unbeatable.
- Scott (9/5): Superb - Clean and tidy
- David (10/5): Easy, restful and hassle free - The booking process, key pickup, parking and communications were all excellent. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Clean, neat, tidy, modern, all facilities were first class, and all with not one problem. highly recommended. Not a thing
- P.w. (7/5): Good - The accommodation is clean and cozy. The host was welcoming when we arrived. The acoustic of the place is not great. The host who live in the property was enjoying an afternoon of Formula 1 viewing in the adjacent room. I thought Max Verstappen was about to ram into our accommodation while we were trying to relax on a Saturday afternoon.
The listing on booking .com stated that the checkout time is 11am. I actually double checked the listing the night before. However the host came and bang on our door at 10.30am and told us to leave asap. She later apologised for the misunderstanding which i appreciated. However is unfortunate that we have to conclude our long weekend in an unpleasant experience.
- Jacqueline (10/5): A classy stay - 10/10 - Why stay in a stinky, tired old pub or motel when you could experience this jewel.
Highly recommended. Support the locals.
Super, Super, Super!!!
- Jenny (10/5): Beautiful B&B - Beautifully appointed B&B. Everything you could need. Clean and comfortable, in a quiet neighbourhood. Easy self check in.

- Jpunc (9/5): Superb -
- Ullah (9/5): Superb -
- Nickynootoo (9/5): Perfect solution for a required overnight stay. - Lovely new, well presented accomodation. All the little extras were added. Just a small thing, the bed itself was really comfy but the pillows not so much. They were way too big and puffy.
- Martyn (10/5): The property was 5 star, quality linens and furnishings, thoughtful additions throughout. - Beautifully appointed rooms, quiet location and a wonderful host. It was a pleasure to stay at Hamptons Luxury Absolutely nothing
- Darryl (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): Excellent stay. - The whole experience & location were second to none. Absolutely nothing.
- Rolando (9/5): This really is Hamptons Luxury...... - Although in the suburbs of Maitland, the property is easy to reach & well worth the effort. The accommodation is beautifully & tastefully presented, extremely comfortable with a great attention to detail. A big thank you to our host Anne, who was warm & welcoming & gave us information & recommendations which made our stay fantastic.
