• Camphausen (2/5): Lucky to be alive. Will not be frequenting this establishment ever again. - Booking.com rating is not at all what it deserves. The only saving grace is the friendly staff. Location is extremely poor, I will never ever recommend this establishment to anyone that is wanting a good night's rest. It may look safe with 24 hour security, however because of the location, I did not sleep at all. Also the neighbourhood is extremely noisy throughout the entire night Location is extremely poor. My Uber driver that dripped me off, said that the street where the establishment is located has vast amounts of drug and other activities. The room was okay, but not enough amenities to call it a 4 star establishment. Complimentary coffee was the cheapest money can buy. The toilet leaked and made.a noise all night. The shower allows water to splash all over the floor making it a slip risk. It was raining and the gutter outside was leaking and the throroughfare to the rooms was not covered so I got wet. Bar facilities was dirty and extremely run down. This establishment is in dire need of a huge revamp should they want to maintain their star status. There was a funny smell when I entered my room. I felt extremely unsafe and the neighbourhood is extremely noisy throughout the night.

The trees and overall ambience created such a relaxing atmosphere. The owner was incredibly nice, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and I’d definitely recommend getting a room with a bathtub—it really adds to the experience. No complaints. Everything was attended to promptly .

The area does not look great, but I was guaranteed it was safe, it was myself (60 year old female) and my 10 year old granddaughter. It was safe! We didn't have any disturbances and we did not feel in the least bit nervous. The noise from the surrounding parties was a bit much, however in our room you couldn't hear it so badly.

• Kemeleng (1/5): Terrible - Nothing Hi I am extremely disappointed with how this matter has been handled. We arrived at the property at approximately 18:30 on 28/02/2026, only to be informed upon arrival that the hotel was fully booked due to overbooking. At no point prior to our arrival were we notified of this, despite having a confirmed reservation and full payment already deducted. As a result, we were left stranded without accommodation and waited at the property for approximately three hours seeking assistance. No proper alternative was arranged for us at the time. We were then forced to look for alternative accommodation late at night while my partner was travelling from far to meet me. This caused significant inconvenience, stress, disruption, and financial strain. In addition, we incurred transport costs travelling to the hotel for nothing. We also incurred additional transport costs leaving to secure last-minute accommodation elsewhere. We were placed in a financially compromising position because our funds had already been deducted. The hotel subsequently confirmed in writing via the Booking.com platform that: • They were overbooked. • They would provide a complete refund. I have provided screenshots of this communication as evidence. It has now been three days without any meaningful update or confirmation regarding the refund process. The continued delay and lack of proactive communication are unacceptable. Furthermore, suggesting alternative accommodation while our funds remain deducted is unreasonable. We should not be expected to secure and pay for alternative accommodation while our original booking payment is being withheld. This placed us in an unfair position. I require the following urgently: 1. Written confirmation that Booking.com has formally contacted the property and received refund authorisation. 2. Immediate processing of the full refund. 3. A clear timeframe (specific date) for when the funds will reflect in our account. 4.

Staff was very helpful 🫡 The street entrance road is shady and dirty, not nice at night. You don’t get a key for your room, I mean come on guys?! They used a master key for all rooms, so you have to be accompanied by them every time you get back to your room to open for you. That sucked.

The area though very conveniently located near great restaurants and the vibrant Florida road has some car mechanic shop as a neighbor and it is an eyesore

They have a restaurant and bar on site and the manager /owner accommodated all our request. I will definitely be coming back The shower is beautiful aesthetically but if you are sort of a neat freak like me , ask for a mop so you can clean afterwards because the water goes all over the bathroom tiles
