Guest Reviews
- James (8/5): Great effort, would stay again - Great location, comfortable, well equipped, clean and nice welcome pack too. Temperature difficult to control, made noises in the night. Only one parking space. Cistern in the bathroom (with the bath) incredibly loud, too loud, woke other guests when used in the night. Could do with an external light that comes on when you approach after dark
- Carol (8/5): Great location. A very well equipped and cosy cottage but such a shame about the noisy plumbing!! - The cottage was located in a perfect position in a very quiet lane but close enough to all the amenities that Blakeney has to offer.
It is a lovely cosy cottage with beautiful soft furnishings throughout which gave it a lovely homely feel. It was very well equipped and the welcome pack on arrival was a very nice touch. The plumbing - so very, very noisy! It actually woke us up every evening and morning - not great when you are on holiday!!
The shower room needs refurbishing as it’s looking very shabby and in need of updating .A new toilet brush and holder is a must!!! The bath only has a hand held shower head with no shower screen of curtain. This is not ideal if there are 4 adults staying at the cottage.
A washing up bowl and drainer in the kitchen, along with some more mugs would be great.
A smart TV would enhance the property, but not a necessity.
The plumbing is the main problem and I noticed that previous guests have mentioned this.
- Colin (10/5): superb modern cottage with bathroom and a shower room in the centre of Blakeney with its own parking - superb location in the centre of Blakeney and private parking. Two bathrooms was brilliant. Loads of information provided. Small non smart TV could do with an upgrade. Had to use a wire from my laptop to access iplayer etc.
- Martyn (10/5): Lovely break in an excellent cottage - Location, layout, Free parking for only one car, although plenty of paid locations very nearby.
- Jon (8/5): Good - Well equipped, comfortable , 10 minutes walk up from the quay, nearby parking space. Very very small TV
- Peter (9/5): We had a lovely time from arrival to departure. Well done the owner!! - The location was excellent and we had a welcome pack. Bedrooms were very good. I would advise the photo showing the bathroom shows the shower attachment as we were worried at our age getting in and out of bath. Parking well catered for. Its hard to be critical and we would book it again albeit the only moan is the key can be difficult getting it into the front door. I personally prefer gas controllable hobs but that's not easily remedied.
- Robert (10/5): The perfect cottage for enjoying the beautiful North Norfolk coast and countryside. - A very nice and well equipped cottage in a good location close to the centre of the town but in a quiet position. The cottage has everything necessary for a comfortable and relaxing break. There was absolutely nothing we didn't like!
- Brosnan (9/5): Superb - Charming, comfotabke and warm Silly issue with bolt on french door which would slide down and lock you outwhen youwent in back garden. I hope this will be fixed
