• Wilfred (8/5): Apart from the above daily annoyance as above, we had a lovely stay in this property. Thank you! - Very warm comfortable house. Heating worked very quickly. Great location spacious kitchen It was described beforehand as having 2 bathrooms. The downstairs "bathroom" was a toilet and wash-hand basin at the back of the kitchen. Sadly the basin had an unfitable plug, so it was unsuitable as a washing station. NOT GOOD we're sorry to say. On reflection we should have contacted the owners, who had responded quickly to other queries.
• Eleanor (9/5): A perfect base to visit family on the island…comfortable, homely and peaceful for a family of 5. - The decor was not only practical and comfortable but also very stylish in terms of the colour palates and quality of bedding/serving dishes etc which made it feel like a real treat. The welcome book was great as it wasn’t overwhelming and the illustrated map was a great help too. The kitchen appliances all worked really well. Oven gloves and tea towels (instead of towels) would have been a brilliant addition to kitchen practicalities and a dedicated hand towel for the upstairs bathroom. Everything else was catered for brilliantly.

Central location for exploring Lewis. Ample room for a family of 6 and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a party of 6+. Nothing -perfect for all our needs
• Anne-linn (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, close to the airport. Not a busy airport, so no noise. Good size on rooms. Very comfy beds! Large, well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful view - we even forgot there was a dishwasher and washed up by hand, admiring the view 😂 We arrived on a Sunday, with all the shops closed. But there was cheese, biscuits and fruit at the house - very much appreciated! Owner answered messages within minutes and made sure everything was OK. Friendly neighbours. The driveway was a bit high in the middle. With a smaller/lower car, we might have got stuck.
• Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - The location was a great base for exploring different areas of the Island by car and close enough to the ferry terminal and grocery shops/town. The house was fresh and comfortable with both traditional and modern touches. It was welcoming, had everything we needed, and felt like home from home. The welcome pack was a lovely touch also. We had an amazing time and hope to return again in the future. Highly recommend!!
