Even though it was a sudden booking, they gave us a warm welcome even at night and even though we were late, they waited for us. They were a very friendly and kind group from the moment we arrived. Le petit-déjeuner extra et servi au roof top ou il y a une petite piscine et une vue magnifique sur Kandy. Le boss peut vous proposer la visite des endroits incontournables de Kandy et même aller voir un spectacle de danseurs.je recommande vraiment cet hôtel .Le boss aime cuisiner et peut vous mitonner de bons petits plats Le soir

Novak (9/5): - Freundliches Personal und ein großzügiges Zimmer mit Balkon machen den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Das Hotel ist vom Zentrum zu Fuß oder per Tuktuk schnell zu erreichen und dennoch in etwas ruhiger Lage. Das Internet ist auf dem Zimmer sehr anfällig, auf der Terrasse aber besser.

Hotel is very vibrant with amazing style and it's sole, everything is designed with a very good taste. Rooms are big and comfortable. Washroom is fresh and well maintained. Service is simply amazing, staff is helping and making you feel their hospitality and care. Location is good, 5-7 min by bike to the city centre. And I need to mention about food! Omg🤩 AMAZING breakfast and AMAZING dinner! Try it, it's a very tasty food , I took couple of recipes, couldn't sustain. All the best for this hotel. I definitely recommend to stay here Will only add if you want a very calm and relaxing time choose room with garden view Was a bit noisy from the road so asked to change to a room with garden view, was much better

Roos (6/5): - Mooie kamers, mooi gebouw Wij waren in kandy met een “ strakke” agenda de eerste ochtend was het ontbijt 20 minuten te laat en de tweede ochtend 30 minuten. Ze zeggen ook niet waarom of bieden ook hun excuus hier niet voor aan. En dan wacht je zolang om vervolgens een koud ontbijt te krijgen. In de handoeken zitten zwart/ grijze vlekken en de regendouche en koelkast deden het niet in onze kamer.

Patricia Andrea (7/5): Comfort 20 minutes walk from town - The hotel is clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was always helpful. They welcomed us with a refreshment and took care of our luggage. The owner and the manager were helpful arranging excursions for us. Everyone there was attentive. The food is a bit overpriced but yummy. So it is worth eating there The hotel is a bit far from town. Also, in Sri Lanka hotels offer to organise everything for you, but sometimes they need to be better informed or simply not to get involved in services they are not familiar with. We ended up spending a fortune for a hike we never did and never took responsibility

The breakfast is made fresh so it takes a little longer but it is so yummy. The pool is also amazing and super refreshing after travelling for a while.

Thijs (7/5): Prima hotel voor je reis naar kandy - Schone opgeruimde kamer. We dachten dat het warme water het niet deed. En vroegen om hier aan te doen. Maar hij begreep het ook niet. Achteraf zelf achter gekomen dat het warme water de andere kant van de kraan was. Daarnaast staat de muziek hard aan op de bovenste verdieping waardoor je weinig rust heb op je kamer. Toen we vroegen of dit zachter kon werd dit gedaan maar de volgende dag stond hij weer even hard aan.

Vanessa (10/5): Wunderschönes und sauberes Hotel mitten in der zauberhaften Stadt Kandy! - Ein wirklich traumhaftes Hotel, nicht weit weg von der Innenstadt von Kandy. Der Hotelbesitzer war wirklich eine herzvolle, freundliche und hilfsbereite Person, genau so wie das restliche Personal. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, nachdem ich erzählt habe, dass wir kein Fleisch essen, bekamen wir sogar vegan Würstchen zum Frühstück. Wären gerne länger geblieben! Bei unserer Abreisen kam es zu einem für uns unangenehmen Moment, da wir schon um 4:30 los mussten und die Eingangstür zugesperrt war, weswegen mein Freund in den Schlafbereich des Personals eindringen und klopfen musste. Uns wurde dann aber dennoch freundlich die Tür geöffnet. War etwas unangenehm, aber sowas kann ja mal passieren.

Nadun (5/5): Property overcharged. - Room Condition is good and looks new. I feel I have been overcharged in the booking.com email it showed me US$25.65 and no mentioning of service charge. But the hotel charged me $28.47 and plus service charge. I paid the overcharged amount thinking booking.com will help me with resolving overcharges. If the amount charged $28.47 is the amount inclusive of VAT, then VAT invoice should be provided, which I didn't receive. But unfortunately I have not received any response from them even after multiple reminders. Clearly unhappy with booking.com assistance and hotel practice.

Natalie (5/5): Disappointing - Started out promising, female staff member who checked us in was welcoming and helpful. But that’s where it ended. The room had mould on the walls, zero views, and the pool was filthy we couldn’t use it. All our bookings were priced as pay in dollars on this website but the staff were refusing to accept dollars. (Even though there was no damage/tears on the notes) They didn’t want to accept the 20 dollar bills. Kept insisting we pay with card. This caused a problem at check out as we had an early morning train to catch and caused some unwanted hassle. This was the only hotel we had issues at in a total of 3 weeks travelling around Sri Lanka. Disappointing.

Mark (10/5): A perfect stop - Sometimes you get lucky, this was one of those times. After a long road trip (motorbike), mad rush hour traffic around Kandy and a last minute booking, this was such a welcome respite. Really nice welcome, including a cold drink. The room and ensuite were very tastefully decorated, very comfortable, clean and with lots of space. The service and quality of food (dinner and breakfast) was exceptional, all prepared by the owner and his wife. Nothing was too much trouble, any requests - for drinks, advice, one of the team even went to the local shop for us - was too much trouble. It's rare to find such a level of service. I'm touring Sri Lanka for a week and this is a standout place. Highly recommended and great value.

All the food and drinks we had were extremely delicious. It was also fair for the money spent on it. The staff were very kind. They treated us very well. We had a sudden health issue, and they brought the necessary medicine from a pharmacy. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff for that. There is a very beautiful little cute pool at the top of this hotel. Additionally, the restaurant located up there is very lovely and peaceful. The owner here seems to be very successful, kind, and well-versed in hospitality for the guests coming to him. This is evidenced by the staff here. Our sincere thanks for your success. Booking me in on tours v - I love that the rooms was so clean with a big comfy bed and a beautiful bathroom. The restaurant upstairs was amazing hard down the best avocado on toast I’ve had in my life.

Aga (9/5): Superb - While the hotel isn't located in the city center, it's easily accessible with a longer. Alternatively, a tuk-tuk ride can bring you there effortlessly. Just a few meters away, you'll find two restaurants offering breakfast at very reasonable prices. The rooms are beautifully furnished with brand-new equipment.

Also, the location was perfect—close to Kandy city and convenient to go the Dalada maligawa The hotel is located near a public road, so it was quite noisy outside.Although the staff were friendly, they could not resolve Some of our problems.. In 3 out of the 4 rooms I booked, the TVs were not working properly, and live TV didn’t work in any room. The view was disappointing, and some rooms didn’t even have a kettle The hotel initially informed us that we were given a discounted rate for one room because the specific single room I requested was unavailable. However, at the end of our stay, they stated that the discount was actually due to the lack of certain facilities in that room, such as a functioning TV and kettle. So clearly ask for the price and what benefits they will provide.
Shamrika (10/5): A truly beautiful experience we will never forget - We were welcomed by the lovely staff who made us feel at home , so kind and they will do anything for you and obviously ,you must respect all of the staff who work so hard to keep everything going.We truly loved that ! Udesh is the owner and is our friend for life an amazing kind and generous person , he took care of our needs and even rescued my husband when he had a dental problem. Udesh was kind enough to arrange a tour to Sigiriya the famous rock mountain , we found it easy travelling with Udesh because we find it hard to walk too much, we are currently travelling with Udesh to various parts of Srilanka and we are so grateful to him that he is showing us some beautiful view points on the way. We loved the beautiful view from the bedroom window you can see mountains and the huge Buddha statue and as you go up the stairs each landing was beautifully decorated with authentic Srilankan artwork. We loved our beautifully decorated bedroom with AC it was so amazing huge comfortable bed and big bathroom beautifully decorated. The restaurant served us up with a delicious huge Srilankan breakfast and tea. We also had access to a beautiful pool.A wonderful experience we will never forget we hope to be back with the rest of our family x Nothing at all. Be mindful there are steps to access bedrooms.

The swimming pool was small but welcome, and this is in the city so to be expected. The owner was very helpful in finding tuk-Tuks when we left, because the tooth was on display for the first time in 16 years and it was chaotic, and I mean CHAOTIC! I highly recommend this place. Nothing really. Only thing was getting the rooms two prong kettle plug into the UK style three pin socket, but they sorted this immediately when asked. Great place.

Nisha made sure that all our needs were met and gave us flexible check in and out times which helped a lot with our timings. Very welcoming staff and the guy who helped to carry our luggage and replenish things was very good. Nisha explained every detail of the attractions near and far from the city. She is very pleasant and made sure our safety was importan. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Kandy next.
