• Francis (10/5): Great host, great views, great apartment. - Firstly our host was so helpful and friendly, (we arrived in the evening due to bus issues) and she even drove us to the local shop for evening meal items. The apartment is very well decorated, very clean and tidy, it's extremely well equipped. The apartment has a large and sunny balcony overlooking Dubrovnik and sea beyond, the views are stunning, as are the sunsets. We had a really great and comfortable stay. Thank you to our host. Dostałyśmy owoce oraz sok, co było bardzo miłe, bo dojechałyśmy późnym wieczorem i nie było szans już na sklep. Przyjemnie, ciepło, bardzo czysto. Sam apartament jest bardzo duży - przekroczył nasze oczekiwania. Do centrum około 15 min spacerem po schodach. Lodówka, suszarka, pralka, klimatyzacja, jest wszystko na miejscu, w doskonałej kondycji. A sam Dubrownik to przepiękne miasto. Brak

Zaproponowała podwiezienie samochodem do dzielnicy Gruź i mostu F.Tudmana. Bardzo czysty, funkcjonalny apartament, posiadał wszystko co potrzebne na kilkudniowy pobyt. Bardzo polecam i dziękuję za gościnność.

L'appartement est spacieux, confortable , propre, trés bien situé ( beaucoup d'escaliers mais ça a son charme :) ) , bien équipé. La propriétaire est adorable, souriante et attentionnée !! C'était notre 1ère fois en Croatie et 1ère fois à Dubrovnik mais certainement pas la dernière, c'etait super ! Franchement tout etait top et le rapport qualité prix vaut vraiment le coup mais si je dois dire 1 petit bémol : salle de bain étroite pour les gens un peu costaud.

Дуже зручна постіль і подушки. Є весь необхідний посуд для приготування їжі, кава, чай, сік і пиво. Дуже позитивна і приємна власниця. До Старого міста можна дістатися пішки - як для нас то нам було комфортно йти з дитиною. Ванна кімната хоч і маленька але нам було зручно. Звукоізоляція - було чути сусідів

• Golub (7/5): - There was cold juice in the fridge when we arrived. It was a quiet location. It's a little bit of a walk to the Old town requiring a lot of steps to get down and up. The nearby free parking was difficult to obtain and often it was full.

• Rafaella (8/5): A distância do centro histórico é curta, mas o percurso é feito por escadas! Bastante exigente para quem - Gostei da limpeza e da proximidade com o centro histórico. O espaço é reduzidíssimo, o quarto tinha um leve cheiro de mofo e a máquina de lavar não funcionava.

• Joanne (10/5): Happy Traveler - I couldn't have asked for more! A warm welcome and an immaculate apartment. I am an avid hill climber, and the location was perfect. This may not be for many as I counted 519 steps (shortest route from Pile Gate to the accommodation). For me, as a solo traveller, I couldn't fault it.

We didn't get the view at all in our unit as it looked like the complex is fully cooked. Otherwise, we will enjoy the great view overlooking the old town.

Our host was exceptionally kind and welcoming—our children were especially delighted by her. We cooked a couple of meals during our stay and found the kitchen fully equipped. The apartment is located cca a 15-minute walk from the Pile Gate; however, it's important to note that Dubrovnik has many stairs, so be prepared for a bit of a climb. The balcony offered a beautiful view, and we truly didn’t miss a thing. A little bit small bathroom :)

• Nadege (9/5): Well worth the price! - Spectacular views, kitchen was good to use with working stove had pots and pans given. We were provided juice, fruits and candy by host which was good for breakfast. Spacious living area. Clean and modern. Beds were comfy as well Bathroom was a bit small, and no shower gel provided. We could hear our neighbours from the wall, but there were no issues at night. A LOT of steps to get to so keep that in mind, but I say it's well worth the view and the price!
• Ct (10/5): Beautiful Views, Spacious Apartment - What a beautiful view from the lovely apartment balcony. It's just spectacular! We loved the large, comfortable apartment. It was fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils you need, as well as a refrigerator, microwave, stove top, and kettle. We appreciated having a washing machine in the bathroom as well. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the owner's mother. She had a lovely bowl of fresh fruits in the apartment forvus, as well as giving us a bottle of local wine. We communicated just fine with Google Translate. Would definitely stay here again. Just be aware that Dubrovnik is a city of stairs. There is no way around that, either to get into the old walled city or to get to most accommodations.

When we were there, at first they told us they couldn’t. We explained the situation and in the end they did help us, but in case you are a guest who needs this service, I recommend checking in advance.
• Gerry (10/5): Well located, neat apartment where to enjoy views of the city and amazing sunsets - The location is amazing given the proximity to everything and the amazing views from its balcony. The apartment was clean and neatly organized. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful despite our language barriers. Having an option to choose a room was a welcomed surprise.

Working up to that view every morning was such an energiser. Overall the apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. We did have to call the host when we arrived though, as no info was provided beforehand — so make sure you arrange that before heading there. Host's mom then came to receive us and pass us the key, but bear in mind she doesn't speak a lot of English, but she was very nice to keep trying anyway, and with the help of Google Translate we got by. Even got a bonus orange juice from her. It's about halfway up the hill to get to the apartment, which in the city of Dubrovnik means a lot of stairs. After the first night we cabbed back every time we headed back. But going to the city (going down) was ok. Toilet was also a bit small and drain was pretty slow draining. The blanket was also just a sheet (not duvet) — not sure if it's just the usual for Croatian homes.

Location is perfect at around a 10 min walk from the Old Town but easily accessible by bus/taxi just off the main road. The host was so welcoming and very kindly let me store my luggage in her house after checking out before my bus in the evening. Would definitely recommend! Nothing
• Moustafa (1/5): I’ll never book this apartment again—the reviews didn’t match reality. - The Appartement is near the mean road, it's easy to reach it with Taxi, and we don't need to walk. We arrived on 3.9 and left back to Germany on 6.9 1. Wi-Fi Issues: The Wi-Fi that was promised in the booking did not work throughout our stay, even after we were provided with an alternative network. I had to frequently use my personal mobile data, as the Wi-Fi in the house was not functioning properly. I have screenshots showing that although the Wi-Fi was connected, there was no available internet connection. This was a major inconvenience. 2. Iron: The property listing stated that an iron was available, but there was none in the apartment. Upon request, I had to wait 45 minutes for it to be brought, even though I was in a hurry. This should have been clearly communicated in the listing. 3. Unpleasant Smell: Upon entering the apartment, we noticed an unpleasant smell. When I complained, I was told it was from an aroma diffuser. However, even after the diffuser was removed, the smell persisted and appeared to be coming from mold in the bedroom, which posed a significant health risk. This should have been mentioned in the property description. 4. Unprofessional Communication: The host responded to my complaints in an unprofessional manner, offering no solutions. Instead, I was told to leave the accommodation without any offer of a refund for the payment already made. It was impossible for me to find and pay for alternative accommodation at short notice. 5. Tap Water Recommendation: The host recommended we drink tap water on the first day. However, on the second day, my girlfriend experienced severe stomach pain, likely from drinking the water. 6. Ants and Insects in the Apartment: After returning to the apartment at around 6 p.m. following a long day out, we found ants in the kitchen, despite having cleaned it. To our horror, we later found ants in the bed as well. We also noticed other unknown insects in the bedroom, which caused us significant concern. We cleaned the apartment as best we could but were unable to reach the host until the next day, it was late.
• Natasha (10/5): Lovely stay! - Probably the cleanest apartment I’ve ever been in. Spotless. The owner arranged a transfer from the airport and the driver checked us in. We never met the owner but he was always contactable by the booking.com app and helpful. Great view! Really homely and nicely decorated. I hadn’t realised how high up we were which means steps! And LOTS of them! We are in our mid 30’s and relatively fit but getting back up those steps was something else! There was a bus and you need to buy your ticket from the stand before getting on. It takes about 20 mins and you’ll definitely think you are on the wrong bus with the direction it takes you but fear not! Bus stops across the road from back of the apartment. It’s a busy road and hard to cross! People won’t stop for you :)

• Cristina (8/5): Very good - The apartment is exactly like in the photos, spacious, clean, full of light, with a warm vibe and a nice view. Climbing the stairs back to the apartment when returning from the city center is not 'a walk in the park' on a hot day. Uber leaves you across the street (in the bus station) or it even happened to me to be dropped off further from the location when I first arrived. It can be confusing to find yourself quite literally on the highway with no space for people to walk on the street to find their apartment. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable.

Easy to get a bus back from Pile Gate number 3 right outside apartment 2 euros. The apartment has the most amazing views over Dubrovnik.It is very well equipped & nicely decorated & very clean too. • Svitlana (8/5): The best place for staying in Dubrovnik (from my mind) - Apartment is placed in amazing place. There is great view on whole Dubrovnik. You can get downtown in 10-15 min by foot, which is very close. Also, there is bus station right near the apartment, so you can get there by bus #3 from the city center and it will not be necessary to go upstairs to the apartment. One more bonus - there is trail to panoramic platform on the mountain шт 100m from apartment. So, you can get there in 1 hour. There is wonderful view of the sea coast. Host is very friendly and attentive. The water in the shower did not drain well. Also, It would be great to provide new dish sponge, not used one.

• Janet (10/5): An idyllic location with old city and sea views - The suite was exactly as the photos, probably even better, especially the stunning panoramic sea view. Even when it rained, it was quite spectacular. The apartment is directly across the street from a bus stop (from the port/autobus station), making it convenient to get here without traveling any of the thousands of stairs you'll encounter in Dubrovnik (they make for great views!) with luggage (I did the return trip back to the bus station/port: double-check the city bus times for Sundays as it runs less often, at least in November when I visited, and waits at the main stop for up to 15 minutes). The hosts were thoughtful, meeting me at the location, offering me a beverage and kindly walking through the accommodation. One day when it rained, a large umbrella was left outside my door. Super thoughtful. Highly recommend. Nothing.

Sufficient facilities and all equipment are working as expected. Access to the apartment is bit tricky. You need to climb lot of stairs or need to rely on Taxi/bus. Bus routes in Dubrovnik are really lengthy but that's not owners fault :)

• Lata (10/5): This uber clean apt is good value for money and is conveniently located - Being a neat freak, I loved how spotlessly clean it was! The host Hrvoje was very switched on and available on text. He offered useful suggestions on what to do and what to avoid. His mother was very sweet and friendly and dropped by on one of the days to give me a slice of cake. The apt was compact and perfect for a solo traveler. I used the washing machine and it was handy to hang the clothes out on the patio. Dubrovnik is a city of 1000s and 1000s of steps! This apt was located a walking/climbing distance of 15 mins from the centre. The bus stop is bang opposite the apt so that was convenient too. The Wi-Fi could be improved on. Connection was sketchy in general. Coffee quality could also be better. But these aren’t real complaints!

The hosts are very helpful and it made our trip so convenient by letting us drop off our luggage before checking in and leaving the bags for several hours after checking out, they lent us their umbrella and greeted us with coffee. They even helped us with the washing machine when we couldn’t figure out how to start the machine. Very helpful, plus there are many maps in many languages in the sitting area. It’s in a very peaceful area with a nice outdoor sitting / smoking area.

Lots of steps, to the apartment, but the views were worth it. Walked down to old town fine and either bused or used Uber to return. Very minor but the bathroom is very narrow, which is surprising compared to how big the apartment is.

The owner was lovely, she welcomed us and explained about the apartment and which areas of town are worth a visit and what buses to use to get there. The bed was hard and pillows quite flat. Wasn’t too much of a problem after a busy day of walking and sightseeing though. The was no laundry detergent, this would be nice as you don’t want to be buying a large bottle just to do one small wash. There are also lots of steps to get to the apartment, so be prepared to walk up hill on the way back from old town.

• Kana (9/5): I would recommend !! - The apartment is well located on a hill, close to a bus station. Checkin was smooth. The place was very clean and is well equipped. Perfect to have a chill breakfast at home before taking the 10 minutes walk down to the old city of Dubrovnik. We had a great time staying here. Wifi connection wasn’t that good.
• Nathalie (10/5): Very clean, modern, petit apartment with a lovely host. - Perfect for our needs. Lovely host who welcomed us at midnight because of flight delays. Haha at the very top of Dubrovnik so lots of steps. Unavoidable.
• Filipa (8/5): Very good - - Staff: The hosts were super nice and helpful. - Facilities: The apartment is very pleasant and super clean. The beds are very comfortable. It has a really tiny WC, but with a clothes machine (very tiny also btw :D ). It does not have a washing machine. - The view: The place has a wonderful balcony with a fantastic view to the sea and old town. - Location: Good location, however there are many steps (really many!!) between the apartment and the old town. Our strategy was to descend on foot and return by bus (bus n. 3 stops exactly in front of the apartment). Be careful crossing the street, it is a main street and cars pass there very fast! For those travelling by car, there is a free park next to the bus stop, but difficult to find place... The host was extremely nice, and gave us his place. Note that parking in the old town is extremely expensive! (~8€ per hour!!!).
• Milena (10/5): Clean place , with quick link to the airport, great view !!! - The place is super clean, have everything that you need the beds are comfortable and the ac around the house is definitely a bonus ! The owners were super nice, explained us what we asked and in the end gave us a little souvenir, we stayed there for almost a week and we would definitely come back again !! The bed on the master bedroom is a little higher than we expected but we are petit woman so not so good for us.

We actually enjoyed the “free workout” up and down the stairs. Spotless apartment ! Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Great communication with the host. The host, Marica is the best! Lovely lady!
