Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.
Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.
Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.
The Planetary and the Astronomy Observatory will be closed from December 1 to March 31.

Le point fort de l’établissement est son personnel, toujours à l’écoute et prêt à répondre à tous vos besoins. Ils ont su s’adapter à mon régime alimentaire particulier. Un grand merci au gérant, Emmanuel pour son aide concernant notre fille qui est tombée malade durant le séjour. Je reviendrai sans hésiter ! La température de l’eau de la piscine 😇

El Hotel se encuentra ubicado en una zona muy tranquila. El observatorio fue una experiencia formidable. Aprender algo sobre las estrellas y los planetas fue sensacional. Aspecto por mejorar: la recepción en los casos cuando no es posible llegar en el horario especificado por el hotel (cuando se llega a altas horas de la noche, entre 9 pm y 12 pm). Aunque hay que coordinarlo, se convierte en una autogestión.

Para venir a respirar aire puro y descansar es uno de los mejores lugares de la zona. Me encantó el hotel. Poca opción en temas de alimentación y si eres investigador o escritor y quieres venir a escribir tu articulo o libro no esperes una red wifi potente en tu cuarto.

La piscina nos indicaron que su uso era hasta cierta hora, sin embargo horas mas tarde vimos que un grupo estaba usándola, a lo cual nos indicaron que era porque ellos "rentaron 2 habitaciones" lo cual si bien las restricciones deberían ser para todos, e igual nos hicieron pagar el alquiler de gorros para piscina y no vimos a nadie en ese grupo con "gorros de piscina, por otro lado, la piscina " era temperada y no nos encendieron para temperada a nosotros a otros grupos si. El desayuno era muy temprano, por lo cual se perdía, y el precio en venta de productos era demasiado elevado, el error fue que no muestran precio y pues la comparación de precios podría hacerla con un lodge u hotel 5 estrellas. Me iba a quedar un dia mas y me retiré incluso antes de tiempo. En definitiva no volvería.

The observatory was a great plus. We could easily walk to the town of Yanque. How the bathroom window opens to the hallway, had to remember to close it before using the facility!

- Edgard (7/5): Nice property close to Colca. - Location. We had the family room which was roomy. No restaurant at the hotel, nearby or in the little village (Yanque). We arrived on New Year's and it was hard & complicated to order chicken from another town (Chivay). The hotel could have anticipated the stay of 4 people in their property.
