• Ruxandra (8/5): All in all a good stay - Great location, felt very safe and it was very convenient to walk/take the bus to the city center. Also very close to Arthur’s seat if you wanna go for a hike or a run. When I arrived, the room was exceptionally clean. I really recommend accommodation in this area. The shampoo and shower gel were not replenished even if I had the “make up my room” sign on the door. It’s a basic necessity and for this amount of money I was expecting this to be done.

• Laura (9/5): Really lovely place, would highly recommend if you wanted somewhere just outside of the city - In a great location, about a 30min walk max from the city centre and there is a bus stop right outside with regular buses to and from the centre. The room itself was super clean and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The staff were excellent and super helpful and really welcoming. It was in a quiet area of the city and the area felt very safe. Nothing that can be helped but our room faced the road which could be a tad noisy with cars at night if the window was open. Nothing that sleeping with earplugs couldn’t fix and did not affect the stay at all

• Paris (10/5): Excellent! Would recommend to anyone. - We loved everything about this place! Our room was extremely clean, the bathroom felt brand-new and the room had a gorgeous window overlooking the garden. The hotel staff were lovely. They helped us carry our bags up to our room, checked in on us throughout the stay and even upgraded us when we checked in. There is a bus stop 1 minute away that will take you straight into Edinburgh Old Town as well. We would definitely stay here again and we would recommend this place to friends. This has been our favourite hotel on our trip so far! :) Nothing. It was excellent!

Tem pó e açúcar no quarto todos os dias da pra tomar um cafezinho antes ♥️😋 Não é que não gostei apenas um ponto de atenção: fica a distância de 20 minutos de caminhada do centrinho. Pra mim não é um problema pois gosto de caminha e aproveitar pra conhecer os lugares!

La résa via booking laissait penser à une chambre équipée d'une cuisine avec les photos. Je n'ai pas réalisé que la résa n'était en réalité qu'une chambre avec salle de bain. La partie cuisine nous a donc beaucoup manquée pour le séjour. Il faut donc être vigilant aux détails qu'inclu la résa au moment du booking.

Our stay was very pleasant overall - the room had everything we needed, the view of the neighborhood was lovely, and we slept very comfortably. There were absolutely no problems, only positive impressions from our side. The neighborhood is quiet and charming, with a great dog-friendly pub nearby (Leslie’s Pub) and it is close to several parks. The city center is about a 30-minute walk away, which was perfect for us. Совершенно чистый, свежий, видно, что недавно был качественный ремонт. Все сияло. Для новогодней ночи цена была более чем отличной — мы приятно удивлены. Мелочи, которые важны. Все было продумано: мягкие полотенца, тапочки, полный набор гигиенических принадлежностей (шампунь, гель для душа). Отдельный восторг — симпатичный чайник в тон интерьеру со всем необходимым (чай, кофе, сахар). Дополнительный комфорт. Большой современный телевизор отлично дополнил вечер. • Nascimento (6/5): Very Pleasant - "I usually book hotels based on the photographs provided; however, upon arrival, the room I was offered bore no resemblance to the images shown on Booking.com. I strongly suggest that the marketing materials be updated to accurately reflect the available rooms and their respective prices. Initially, I was offered a room in the basement, which I immediately declined. I was then informed that the room matching the photographs would require an additional fee, which I find unacceptable given that it was the room I had already booked. I was prepared to leave when the staff offered an alternative room on the main floor. Although it was still not the room I had originally paid for, I accepted it due to exhaustion from a long journey. On a positive note, the property is beautiful, clean, and quiet. The availability of parking was also a significant advantage for me. Furthermore, the location is well-served by public transport, with buses providing easy access to the city center, which is also just a 15-minute drive away. I am sharing this as constructive criticism so that the management can review their online presentation and ensure that the prices and room descriptions are consistent with the reality of the accommodations. The shower was excellent, and the staff member who assisted us was very effective. He went above and beyond to resolve the situation and ensure that we stayed." All facilities new and worked In rooms at the front traffic noise will disturb light sleepers although double glazed. Fridge in room would disturb some overnight. I switched it off before bed. Eurostecker für britische Steckdose vorhanden, großer Kühlschrank Große Dusche Bad ist nicht beheizt und war bitterkalt , zumal die Heizung tagsüber herunter gedreht wurde. Und dann dauert es, das Zimmer aufzuwärmen. Man muss bedenken, Rasur ist im winzigen Waschbecken kaum möglich. Keine Steckdose im Bad für Föhn (das musste im Zimmer sein, der Spiegel hängt weit weg von einer Steckdose) Unser Zimmer wäre sehr ruhig gewesen, wenn der Trockner/Waschmaschine nicht bis spät nachts gebrummt hätte und man jedes Gespräch im Hausflur mit bekommt

They even helped our friends with a last minute room due to their other hotel no longer being available at the last minute. This was very helpful and saved them from going home! The staff were very nice, they even offered us a free drink when we arrived! Clean rooms, nice bathrooms and great tea and coffee facilities. 11am checkout is also a decent time too, and the location isn't too far from the city centre, bus stop is outside and useful. Definitely stay again in the future!

Desde el primer momento nos sorprendió lo limpísimo que estaba todo; da gusto llegar a un sitio donde se nota el cuidado y la dedicación. Bliskość przystanków autobusowych i ogólna odległość od centrum, poruszaliśmy się głównie na pieszo. Lodówka w pokoju, przestronna i czysta łazienka. Jedynym minusem był brak kuchenki mikrofalowej w pokoju.

• Carol (9/5): Very comfortable and friendly - The host, Mo, was very approachable and chatty. The room was comfortable and clean with tea/coffee facilities which were renewed each day. The bathroom was fresh and modern - excellent shower. The only issue was that if you needed the loo in the night, the bathroom light came on with the light in the room, so woke up my husband. A night light in the bathroom or a separate light for the bathroom would be good.

The staff were so lovely and kind ( bought me flowers and a card for my Birthday!) The room was spotless, I don’t think I have ever stayed in a room so clean! Bed was very comfortable, the room was perfect space for exploring the city. Bus stop right out side the door Could not fault our stay and would stay again in a heartbeat. Could not recommend enough! Loved it all!

• Wilko (9/5): - Freundliches Personal und saubere Zimmer. Mit dem Bus ist man schnell in der Innenstadt und ein Tesco Supermarkt ist ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die ersten beiden Tage war leider die Heizung kaputt und ließ sich nicht ausschalten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, allerdings hat es 2 Nächte gedauert bis das Problem behoben war.

Inoltre la struttura ha un parcheggio privato e gratuito di fronte. A Edimburgo sono veramente dei bonus! Personale gentile. La camera era nel seminterrato, la finestra a livello della strada. La camera era discretamente pulita ma il filtro dello scarico della doccia completamente intasato e sporco. Le camere non vengono rifatte né pulite durante il soggiorno, (va benissimo, anzi, preferisco) ma comunque il personale è entrato esclusivamente per rimettere due bustine di tè che avevamo usato (le tazze le abbiamo lavate noi in bagno). Letto alla francese, piuttosto piccolo.

• Mohammed (10/5): One week vacation in September - I really enjoyed my 7-night stay at Mayfield Suites. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent—quiet, yet within a 10–15 minute walk of all the key attractions and essential places. It’s a perfect balance between comfort and convenience, making it a great choice for both short and longer stays. Nothing really. The weather in September is just fine.

The location is great, not far from the centre, but at the same time in a quite place. The bus stop is just opposite the apartments. The host is very friendly and helpful. I was upgraded for free from a standard room to a comfortable and cozy studio with a kitchen. The room is spacious. Everything is new and clean, nice furniture, good renovation, a comfortable bed. The kitchen has a fridge, a 2 burner electric cooker and all the necessary utensils for cooking. The room is cleaned every day. There is a parking lot. I would love to stay at this place next time. Everything was excellent

It was nearer to the bus stations as well as to the University and city center. The location was really good. There isn't anything much specific to say. Everything was really good. • Chendea (6/5): - Locatia , faptul ca era stația de autobuz în fața casei Sunt F multe de spus , am amânat pt ca de obicei nu scriu evaluări negative . Sunt doar câteva aspecte , cele mai supărătoare Dar : 1. Am primit mesaj in care eram intrebata daca doresc check in la 12.30 sau 15.00, fara sa mi se spuna de at intr un mesaj ulterior cu 10 min inainte de a ajunge ca ma costa suplimentar 35 de lire . 1 bis . Patul extrem de mic , 1.40 . Nu S a spus ca acesta e standardul in Scoția . Acum după alte 7 cazări în Scoția o pot contrazice cu dovezi ! 2. Camera era la subsol , lucru nespecificat la rezervare ,iar cand i am spus ca sunt muncitori care fac zgomot la fereastra mi a spus ca eu am vrut check in la 12.3o, ca ea m a întrebat și ca aceștia vor pleca până la 15 .00 . Repet , când m a întrebat de early check in , nu mi a spus nici de muncitori nici de costul suplimentar. 3. Am întrebat de upgrade și mi s a spus ca va costa 49 lire / noapte , am renunțată. 4. In rezervare camera era trecuta ca avand 31 mp , motivul principal pt care am rezervat o . I realitate era mult mai mică , am cerut proprietarei să o măsoare și după măsurători A spus ca este doar cu 5 inch mai mică ! SURPRINZĂTOR și extrem de neplăcut a D fost ca intrând după 2 zile pe situl booking să verific următoarea noastră cazarea am văzut ca proprietara schimbase la descriere mărimea camerei din rezervarea mea de la 31 la 21 mp , cat de fapt avea camera și cat susținusem de la început în fața proprietarei , aceasta contrazicându-se ne cu vehemență și spunându ne ca lucrează de 35 de ani în turism !!!! Sper ca nu tot în acest fel ! 5. Chiuvetă de la baie mergea prost de când am sosit dar după 2 zile s a înfundat de tot . De asemenea caloriferul din cameră nu putea fi reglat ca temperatura , fiind sufocant de cald , motiv pt care am cerut rezolvarea acestor aspecte .

• Jeanette (10/5): Loved our stay at Mayfield Suites. I would highly recommend. - Great location. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Accommodation very nice.
• Joanna (9/5): Superb - Close to the center, maybe a 30 minute walk. The room was really big and clean, the same goes for the bathroom. We also received extra tea and coffee every day. The hosts were really nice and let us check-in after check-in time because our flight was delayed. The room and the bathroom got a little hot in the night but that's a very minor complaint.
