Rashmi (7/5): Mix feelings - Its was clean place. Exactly as displayed on booking. Com Host was very accommodative. It was far away from actual happening place. We stayed for 3 days and for every 5 to 6 km ride paid ₹500 per ride. I think thats bit too expensive. It would have been better if we stayed closer to Ram mandir area instead of total payment of ₹4000+ for just front and back and 5 hours Rikshaw tour. Its good stay for large family and if you have your own car.

Gaikwad (8/5): - Uncle who manages the homestay is really helpful. Rooms are clean and kitchen which is accessible is also clean , even they will provide home cooked food which is very delicious. Location is little bit far . You can walk from main road its about 200-300 mtr only . But at night it really quiet road . So i would recommend not to walk at night to the property.

K (8/5): Experience in Sharan Home Stay - Room was spacious and good. Mr.Atul Srivatsa was very courteous and met our needs. Room was clean. The best part is food which was cooked to our needs with less spice, oil and no garlic. We are senior citizens and it was good on stomach. First the location. You have no shops even for essentials within1 to1.5kms. You have travel in small gullies by autorickshaw. Considering the road condition till you reach the main road, it will be back breaking journey. Not a place for ailing seniorcitizens. Second most rooms are in first, the care taker employee is never found when you need something, you have to Mr.Srivatsa. Third power cut seems to be a common thing. Luckily they have inverter for fan and one light. Fourth I stayed for three nights. Thrice there was no water in bathroom and in one occasion it was at 3AM in the morning. You have to find the care taker to switch-on the motor. What annoyed me was when I complained water is not coming in bathroom both Mr.Srivatsa and the care taker came inside the room and checked the bathroom to whether we have kept the tap open and wasted water. This really hurt me. Last is, for three days, no room cleaning was done and care taker did not ask whether room is to be cleaned, bedsheets to be changed, bathroom to be cleaned etc. I am writing my experience not to reject Sharan Home Stay. It is to message Mr.Srivatsa to change the negatives to make guest stay more pleasant.

Depak (5/5): Passable - Location of the property is bit far from Ram Mandir moreover property is located in the the residental area having logistic problem.Every time one need to call E Rickshaw by mobile number available with property owner.One has to pass over railway crossing to have access to main road which is little bit cumbersome if the trains are passing by.House keeping needs to improved since we stayed two nights(12.4.25 to14.4.25) but did not find any person to clean the room and attached wash room with it and its toiletries particularly hand wash bottle is more of water than liquid soap.No geyser facility is available when we ask for hot water,the owner replied the overhead tank water is hot no need for geyser.This may be due Home stay arrangement and the property owner over looked this part of hospility management. However owner should feel that customer has paid for it.TV is provided but we did not find any remote perhaps it may be showpiece kept in the room.One lady who looks after the needs of customer is most of the time absent and available in the upstairs where owner resides.You can not ask for each and every thing from owner over phone.Over all we didn't like this homestay.

Nitin (8/5): Good cozy little homestay with great room, facilities and host, but be prepared to walk a little - The facilities, the room, the host. The room was spacious, with a cozy little attached bathroom with all the facilities you'll get in a hotel. The host Mr. Srivastava is very good-natured, he'll guide you on which all places to visit and how. The complementary breakfast is also good. It's best for visiting with family and friends, not good for a business trip, so keep that in mind. The location. This homestay is about 2.5 km from Ram mandir and is about 200-300 from the main road. You have to walk around 5 min to get to and from main road to get any public transport.

Shashank (9/5): A Value stay for a big gathering. Facilities are new, well maintained and the owner is amazing - The location was 200 Meters inside the main road. However, the property owner is a nice person. He has contacts of Autos, who come to pick up as per convenience and with genuine rate. Only concern is the food. Either you go out to get or there is one person who delivers there, he needs to be instructed properly regarding the quality of the food. Breakfast by Owner is Ok type.
Suchitra (9/5): Very peaceful place to stay with big families. - very good homesteads, very neat and clean. The owner Mr Atul Shriastav and his wife very co-operative and helpful. They did help to book cabs for airport, and e-autos for our visits to maunders at the doorstep. Would always recommend for a family stay. Only one problem its little inside and the approach to Sharan has narrow lanes .
Shashank (9/5): Cozy stay in a well maintained relatively very new Home stay. A gentle property owner. - Location is near to the Temple. However, a bit inside around 200 meters from main road. So you need to call for Transport. The property owner is a very genuine and nice person. He accomodated our request for additional time as our train got delayed. All fine. No shops or Restaurant in the vicinity. You may need to walk around 300 meters to get a good hotel.

Roshni (9/5): Perfect for a three-generation family visit - I took my elderly parents and my 6 year old son to stay in Ayodhya for a few days. Sharan Homestay was exactly what we needed. I had questions prior to my arrival which they kindly answered via WhatsApp. Upon arrival, again, communication was brilliant, the owner, Mr Atul gave directions to our taxi driver (the Homestay is down some small roads but not impossible to reach!) We enjoyed homecooked breakfasts and dinners, which my father was very happy with. The young man who works there, Akaash, looked after our every need, from ordering taxi and rickshaw, giving us recommendations on where to visit, like Guptaar Ghat where we had a lovely time, buying medicines from the local pharmacy and some food supplies. There was use of a kitchen with fridge. I had asked for ground floor rooms as my mother has mobility issues, which we were given. They were suitable. All rooms are fitted with fans, AC, smart TV, hot water, internet access. Thank you very much for having us! The homestay is close to a railway line with trains coming past a few times an hour, so if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing very good quality ear plugs! Due to the location and local traffic, it is very difficult to get transportation (rickshaw, taxi), particularly in the evenings after 5pm. However, during the day this was not an issue at all.

Ravendra (4/5): Disappointing - The place where the homestay is very difficult to find and in a pathetic location. Very poorly located and dirty surroundings. I can't say anything about our liking but can say a lot about our disliking. The place is in a village and surrounded by a nearby pond and one can see buffaloes around. It's pretty congested. The house has been converted into a homestay for money making. No facilities, breakfast was also very ordinary. When we had to check out, we were helped for an e-rickshaw to go to the bus station but were taken to a different location and missed our bus to Varanasi.

Sharma (7/5): It was an enjoyable Stay with helpful assistance by management, to plan a trip & things to do on your list plus new - Nice and clean facilities just need to improve on details to little things like correct remotes for room facilities towels etc need not be asked a room check by responsible person can solve this. Staff (Akash) and management were very cordial and helpful. access road needs to be improved and a joint effort of the locals need to work on that. The facility can get increase in occupancy if they posted their map direction on their site as Google attaches to old blocked route. Adding facility signs on walls at it’s 3-4 turns on the road will further help as most traffic gets there in night when there are least no of people on road to assist.

During the night the train sound is horrible as it is near to the track When we went there the power was not there and there was no backup for the home.

Bedding and washrooms were very clean and hygienic. The owner Atul ji was very cooperative and helpful, even the helper Akash is a cooperative and ever ready guy. It’s my permanent stay now. I would recommend it to everyone. Everything was nice.
Mitali (10/5): Loved staying at Sharan Homestay - I am a solo traveller and booked this Homestay online for one night. The host / manager Mr. Sharan of the property is very gentle and helpful, the young assistant boy Akash too is very smart, active and helpful. Both were always available wherever required. They took care of the quests very well and helped guiding for how to reach the places. As the train was late and I wanted to see the evening Aarti, Akash drove me in his Scooby to quite a far and I got a rickshaw for the spot. They breakfast was good and enough, specially the tea served was excellent. As the Homestay is slight on the inner side from Ranopali Railway crossing, Akash was always ready to help me in his Scooby to drop me at the crossing. Nothing as such.

They went above and beyond in providing assistance, offering valuable guidance on local attractions and helping with transportation arrangements. Whether it was coordinating taxis or providing directions, their hospitality was truly commendable. The homestay’s proximity to the Ayodhya temple made it incredibly convenient for my visit, and the staff’s thoughtful approach ensured a seamless experience. Akash (9/5): Superb - Hi, First, the location was really good and it's in the 1 km vicinity of the Ram Janmabhoomi. The staff was very cooperative and kind. The stay was clean and neat, the facilities were up to the marks. The owner was very polite and helped us to reach the property smoothly. The bed was very comfortable. All in one, I would recommend this facility for a family stay, a stay with a group of friends.
Indranil (10/5): Exceptional - Very good homestay. Owner is very co-operative. Ram Mandir is just 7-8 min in auto or e-rickshaw.
Virendrakumar (7/5): Great Homestay in Ayodhaya - The owner and their employee were very helpful. Good nature with proper guidance to explore the place. The food was home made and of very good quality. There could have been some basic amenities in the room like holder or stand for keeping the clothes, luggage. Place is little far off from Temple site.
