- Symone (10/5): Was such a beautiful place everything about it was just so cozy and peaceful - Everything was just perfect
- Olivia (10/5): Amazing !! - This property was so beautiful I didn’t want to leave. This place had a vibe of its own. The bath and shower was fantastic as was the bed which smelled amazing. Kitchen has everything needed and living area was so cosy. The hot tub was private and sitting under the trees and relaxing espically while listening to the birds. Will definitely be back!!!
- Claire (9/5): Highly recommend, something secluded and a bit different for a romantic, quiet, restful retreat. Local eateries recomme - Beautifully restored and renovated barn, tastefully decorated and comfortable.
Clean, all mod cons (apart from a microwave, that would be a great addition), heating easy to work and constant hot water. Hot tub was a wonderful extra, temperature was perfect, easy to use, with clear instructions and very clean.
Convenient, quiet location, close to amenities but out of the way at the same time. Car essential. Anyone with a fear of creepy crawlies should avoid, due to the rustic nature of the traditional barn we had some little visitors by the way of spiders and wood lice (aka slaters in NI). Wouldn’t put us off returning mind you! We loved it!
Only 4 coffee pods supplied for 2 adults on a 2 night stay, supply of at least double that would be better, as coffee drinkers we looked forward to having a nice coffee from the coffee machine but only enough pods for 1 coffee each per day.

- Shannon (10/5): Highly recommend and would comeback to stay! - Stay was fantastic start to finish, very cosy and wholesome! Was a lovely privet quiet area
Owners were very accommodating as we were unable to drive up to location due to the road and helped us straight away
Was very much appreciated Nothing everything was perfect beautiful place to stay
- Denise (10/5): - Our stay was perfect. We have also stayed in Squirrel Cottage and both accommodations are beautiful.

- Iain (10/5): Amazing Barn in great location for exploring the Coast - We had a wonderful stay at Blackberry Barn in Ballymena. The stone barn setting is charming and full of character, and it was spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The massive bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was a real highlight — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The hosts were friendly and responsive, providing clear directions and helpful local tips. The location is peaceful yet convenient for exploring the Causeway coast and nearby attractions. Highly recommend Blackberry Barn for a relaxing, hassle-free getaway.
- RACHAEL (10/5): - Beautiful barn conversion. Spotless accommodation comfy facilities. And well heated. Loved the freestanding bath. Close to some beautiful scenic beaches and viewpoints only a half hour away.

- Alastair (4/5): Would not recommend this property way to expensive for a poor location with no view and no personal - The only thing I liked about this property was the bathroom and bedroom. The location was poor, the host did not greet us , no extras or welcome back, no personal touch we have received at similar properties. The entrance to the property smelt of urine

- Mollie (10/5): - Very cost and quiet loved the hot tub and bed was super cozy also loved that there was a bath would definitely be back again 😀 Could have done with microwave as we brought microwave meals with us but was easy enough too put them in oven

- Andrew (10/5): Pure bliss - The barn was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Keys were left in lock box, completely easy to gain access. Able to come and go and full use of the private hot tub throughout the stay was excellent. Staff communication 10/10. Bed super size, bath and shower facilities again were excellent. Cant wait to stay again.

- Ethan (7/5): - Cool theme very rustic loved the bedroom and bathroom and juts overall feel to it The main thing that let it down was the hot tub which is one of the main attractions, outside was nice could do with a bit more around it though quite plain maybe some lights along fence etc but the main issue was yeah the hot tub was lovely we went into it around 9pm and was lovely and quiet just what u pay for and then someone began to cut grass and cut hedges for a good hour or so which completely defeated the purpose of a crucial part of the stay being able to relax in the hot tub which just wasn't possible
- Hilary (10/5): Amazing place out of the way that offers relaxation and peace t - Fabulous property beautiful decor.. Great hot tub .. amazing bed and fantastic bathroom It was a bit further out than we expected.. But easy enough to find with satnav ..
- Paige (10/5): Exceptional - It’s in a nice quiet area good for the price hot tub was good bigger than we expected
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful! Clean, stylish, spacious and comfortable. Everything has been thought through carefully and the bathroom is just gorgeous. Loved it so much we've booked to come back for our anniversary! Thank you xx

- Tricia (10/5): A wee haven - Everything bed is big and comfortable. Large tv full working kitchen spacious accommodation large bathroom with shower and a separate bath. Lovely secluded private hot tub a lovely break away for couples. Booked hare cottage for my daughter and son in law for her birthday in August and my hubby and my birthday in September. Words are not enough to describe this place. We have stayed in squirrel cottage and hare cottage once before and this is our second time in blackberry barn all lovely but think my favourite is hare cottage. Nothing

- Austin (9/5): Very fun and enjoyable stay. Prime example of modern renovation while keeping the overall history and vibe of the origin - Amazing renovated barn. The upstairs was very large, clean and impressive. The bathroom had a nice shower and bathtub.
The kitchen was also large and had plenty of space to put items carried with you on your trip.
The parking lot was big as well.
We loved seeing the exposed trusses from the old barn frame as well as the brick.
Plenty of outlets, lights and a smart TV. The Bluetooth speaker was a nice touch.
- Chelsey (10/5): We had an amazing stay at Blackberry Barn. - Our stay at Blackberry Barn was the highlight of our time in Northern Ireland. The owners have done an amazing job restoring these old buildings - there was even a photo album that documented the process! The space was large and beautifully decorated. We loved the covered hot tub and made good use of it after our long days exploring the area. We were very appreciative of the washing machine and separate dryer. I recommend this property and hope I am able to return one day! A microwave would have been nice to have.
- Paddy (9/5): Superb -
- Tom (10/5): Amazing -
- Caitlin (9/5): Superb -
- Kathryn (3/5): Disgustingly filthy, absolutely atrocious. Wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to stay here. - It was difficult to enjoy anything due to the filthiness and lack of effort on the owners part to make it an acceptable and comfortable stay. I have never stayed in a place so absolutely filthy with zero effort to clean it for us. Immediately upon walking in the floor was covered in dirty and grass clumps and hundreds of bugs, spiders and cobwebs in the ceiling. I understand it is a “remodeled barn” but it did not match the pictures whatsoever in terms of cleanliness. Upon going upstairs the extremely dirty floor continued and carried through all rooms including bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom with visible dirt and clumps of grass. We worried that no one had cleaned the place and the first thing we checked was the linens. Upon pulling off the comforter the bedsheets were found to have multiple hairs, dirt/sand, imprints from someone’s body and the worst part.. the smell and horrible odor of someone’s dirty behind. I have never been so disgusted. We stripped the bed and washed the sheets ourselves which took several hours but at least resulted in clean smelling sheets, a task that should have been done by the owners who clearly live on the property and were home. Absolutely nothing was cleaned prior to our arrival, however another very gross and obvious find was when we went to find a sheet pan to heat up our pizza (as there was no microwave). The pan was covered in grease! The dishes and linens were never washed, the floor was never swept. It was the most disgusting experience I have ever had staying anywhere. We were in Ireland for 11 days and had great stays everywhere up until our last 2 days spent here. I hope that booking.com takes this review seriously as given our experience I imagine many others reviews have been deleted. This place should be shut down until they hire someone to clean the rooms in between stays or get up off their lazy butts and do it themselves. Two last things I recalled - one of the bathrobes had a giant hole in the sleeve.. and in the laundry room it was still full of the trash from the prior persons staying here.
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susie (10/5): Exceptional - Hosts were so kind and polite and gave us space. It was so clean and beautifully furnished. Hot tub was ready and it was perfectly situated. Loved staying there. Thank you Not applicable. All perfect
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pauline (10/5): Amazing place - EVERYTHING. The barn is amazing! Very clean, so much space, the bathroom is stunning. The bed is very comfy. Highly recommend. The sofa isn't the most comfortable, it was grand but literally the only downside and that's being extremely picky. The place is 10/10
- Emma (9/5): Superb - Great communication with the host. Spacious area overall. Lovely large bed.
- Nicky (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathan (9/5): Stay was great really enjoyed it and had a relaxing two days just what was needed!! Would definitely stay again - Spacious, very clean quiet all information required was provided!! Hot tub was great bed very comfy and big bath fantastic 😁 would have been great it the sofa was a bit bigger just maybe to lie back and put the feet up whilst relaxing watching TV !
- Karen (10/5): A fantastic stay in a cosy, comfy, clean old stone barn that was beautifully decorated. - Beautiful property, helpful owners, amazing surroundings. Nothing
- Carly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jordan (10/5): Cosy barn - Beautiful home .. fantastic private hottub which you could use in any weather its so well positioned and covered .. Will def stay again .. the perfect get away
- Gavin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zara (10/5): Amazing!! Would definitely come back! - Barn was absolutely lovely, everything so clean and modern!
Great facilities included, hot tub was amazing. It was amazing but if I had to pick one thing would just be the area around the barn itself needing a little work done/ tidy up but for it only being open a matter of months this is understandable. Cannot fault it!
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roberta (9/5): Beautifully restored barn with everything you need to enjoy a quiet night away! - The bed and bathroom/shower were just amazing! I have never slept in a comfier bed. Both my partner and I said the same thing and we both had the best night's sleep. The hot tub was good and spacious, although you do need to give it an hour or two to heat to 40 (if you like it that hot). Clean facilities with lovely décor (I especially liked the old newspapers that give a sense of history and age of the barn). Overall, a great stay! We would happily stay again :) The laneway can be a little difficult to get up/access in the car, but generally fine. We did not meet our hosts as the keys were already left for us, so I cannot give a fair comment on them; however, everything was left for us that we needed and no issues whatsoever during our stay.
A little too much chlorine in the tub perhaps - this might have been the people before us, as it does ask you to put a few scoops in before you vacate the property... if I could change anything/make a recommendation, it would be to perhaps change this and not allow/ask guests to add chlorine in. That would be all :)
- Aloise (9/5): Superb -
