- Daniel (10/5): Wonderfully remote near Bacau with good food - A perfect spot for a family gathering near Bacau, yet it feels wonderfully remote. We enjoyed staying here with family for two days in the autumn. There were 8 of us, plus a dog, and the place suited our needs perfectly. Plenty of space indoors with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a huge private garden surrounded by nature, offering amazing views. The outdoor area feels safe with the fenced property, making it dog-friendly. The property also has an on-request restaurant serving delicious traditional food—be sure to ask for the menu and book in advance. The owners are incredibly nice and did everything to make us feel welcome. Overall, the location and experience went beyond our expectations. Bonus view: There are sheep around the property, which are so relaxing to watch. Good to know: It is remote, with a narrow gravel road leading to the cabin. The internet connection is basic—not fast enough for remote work. It may improve in the future, so check with the property for updates. There’s some landscaping work in progress; a large pond is under construction. While it’s not the best view, it didn’t bother us.
