• Rafael (9/5): - O local é incrível, muito bonito, moderno, excelente localização, funcionários muito bem treinados, atendimento de primeira, realmente uma hospedagem diferenciada em termos de sofisticação e conforto. Um único ponto: pornalfum motivo não havia pequena geladeira nos quartos, isso foi a única coisa que deixou a desejar. Na época que fui a rua da hospedagem estava em reforma, isso gerou transtorno mas não é culpa do hotel.

Well designed interior and comfortable rooms with lovely bedding. Helpful staff. We had some issues with noise outside the property but staff were very helpful and were keen to help with this. This issue was temporary and soon to end.

De locatie, (middenin Getsemani) was top en het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Verder was het fijn dat er een zwembadje aanwezig is. Enige minpuntje was het lawaai van buiten wanneer je aan de straatkant zit. Oordopjes in en we hebben alsnog heerlijk geslapen. Desondanks zouden wij zeker terugkomen.

• John (4/5): Don’t get a room by the pool - Nice location except for the street in front being under construction. So you had to use a narrow, rough and broken partial sidewalk with many gaps and holes. I had one of three rooms next to the pool. It was a more attractive socializing space into the wee hours than the sterile entrance area with seating . No swimming after 8, but much loud conversation and late night laughter. Only four pool chairs, 2 single and 1 double. One couple slept an entire day in the doublet, leaving only for dinner. Another couple used the single chairs for a 7 hour game of cards. So nice plunge pool but you have to go back to your room dripping.

Il y avait un gros trou dans notre mur, nous avons fait une réclamation depuis 3 jours sans aucune réponse de l’hôtel. Nous n’avons pas dormi de la nuit tellement la chambre n’était pas insonorisée. Comme si les bars étaient à l’intérieur de la chambre… Le lit est tout petit. Hôtel sombre peu de lumière

• Stefanie (10/5): Wunderschönes Hotel recht zentral - Das Hotel hat uns super gefallen! Die Gemeinschaftsräume sowie das Zimmer waren geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet! Das Hotel hatte einen kleinen Pool, der für eine kurze Abkühlung perfekt war. Das Hotelpersonal war super nett! Das Frühstück hat uns super gefallen, war vielseitig und frisch zubereitet. Die Zimmer waren groß, sehr sauber und wir hatten einen großen Bereich für das Badezimmer. Es war bei uns kein eigener Raum, die Dusche und das Waschbecken waren direkt vom Zimmer aus begehbar. Hat uns in dem Fall nicht gestört Die Toilette war zwar separat, allerdings war der Raum oben offen, sodass man keine Privatsphäre hatte.

Im ganzen Haus herrscht eine tolle Atmosphäre! Das Frühstück ist superlecker und das Personal superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Einfach zum Wohlfühlen! Es war perfekt!

• Jesse (10/5): A stunning historic hotel near the heart of all the fun of Getsemani - affordable and comfortable! - This is a beautiful, historic hotel just near the park in Getsemani - near the Walled City. It was quiet, comfortable and very affordable. The breakfast was good and the location was amazing - so many restaurants and shops and you are really right near the heart of it all. The staff is very kind and helpful - we had several questions and a few requests and they met them all with graciousness. The room had a big comfortable bed and wifi was excellent. We would have also liked a fan, but the AC worked well. You also need to be buzzed in - and it seems there are sometimes issues with the buzzer - so you may wait a few minutes. But other than that - totally great.

• Miguel Angel (8/5): Buena ubicación en el barrio de Getsemaní - Lo mejor es la ubicación, porque está en la calle de la Media Luna a apenas 50 metros de la entrada al Parque del Centenario. La habitación era de buen tamaño y la cama de tamaño matrimonial era cómoda. La tarifa de alojamiento y desayuno era cara. No me pareció que la relación calidad-precio fuera muy buena. La habitación era exterior, aunque ni se nota, porque lo que tenía era un ventanuco con unos barrotes situado a bastante altura, así que no es que entrase mucha luz. Ya me esperaba algo así al ser la habitación de categoría más inferior. Para varios días se me hizo el desayuno un tanto repetitivo. No había mucha variedad y estoy acostumbrado a desayunar bastante cuando salgo de viaje.

• SILVIA (6/5): Some hiccups for an otherwise decent hotel in Cartagena - This review is not for Voilà getsemani but for Voilà Centro Historico. See below. The location is great. Getsemani and the Port to go to Rosario Island are walking distance. The city centre is very nice too to explore and less busy than Getsemani. The bathroom was really nice. Breakfast on the terrace was also a highlight. The hotel has a nice pool although very small. We originally booked Voilà Getsemani but we were informed at our arrival in Cartagena that we were moved to another hotel of the same chain due to road construction in Calle 30. While we appreciated the solution provided we were startled to learn about this change at 4 pm of the day we had to check in given that the road construction has been going on for a while. The room we were given had no view (a wall in front was all we could see), no minibar, no kettle and no table or a surface where to put stuff. The AC was blasting and we could not make it less cold so we switched it off altogether. We asked for help with opening the safe and get a second bathrobe at reception but no one showed up and we had to ask again. The last night (Monday) there was blasting music from the rooftop terrace until at least midnight and we had a very bad night's sleep.

• Louis (7/5): Expérience mitigée à Carthagene. - La chambre est magnifique (suite), le personnel très sympathique et l'emplacement est idéal. Le rapport qualité prix n'est vraiment pas top ! Nous sommes sur des prix très élevés par rapport aux prestations proposées. Le petit déjeuner n'est vraiment pas bien. Pendant tout le séjour, il y avait des travaux très bruyants dans la rue la journée et la nuit. Pas top pour se détendre (ou pour dormir...). Certes ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel, mais ça n'aide pas à apprécier l'endroit.
• luz (1/5): Me robaron dinero de un cajón - Buena ubicación e instalaciones A las 24 hs de irme del hotel me di cuenta que me faltaban 200 usd, cabe aclarar que el hotel no cuenta con cajas de seguridad. Dejé una billetera en un mueble de manera confiada. Hice el reclamo por teléfono y Mail, no solo demoraban en contestarme los mensajes sino que tampoco se hicieron cargo, argumentando que el personal no asumió haberme quitado el dinero, lo cual era de prever. Hubiera esperado una mínima atención, me siento desilusionada y estafada. No recomiendo para nada este lugar.

• Julien (2/5): - L’établissement en lui-même est très bien et l’emplacement est idéal. Durant notre séjour nous avons été volés dans nos deux chambres qui étaient pourtant bien fermées à clé (uniquement de l’argent). Après plusieurs échanges sur place avec le personnel ils ont indiqué qu’ils allaient enquêter et vérifier les vidéos des caméras de surveillance mais celles-ci se sont révélées inutiles. La seule caméra de notre étage ne donne pas vers les chambres et il existe plusieurs moyens d’accéder aux étages sans passer devant les caméras. Après leur enquête ils nous ont informés par mail qu’ils nous rembourseraient le montant volé mais cela n’a finalement été fait qu’en partie. Les échanges par mail avec l’établissement sont également compliqués avec parfois plusieurs semaines avant d’obtenir une réponse malgré les relances. On nous a dit que c’était la première fois qu’un incident de ce type se produisait ce qui semble vrai au vu des commentaires mais cela mérite tout de même d’être signalé.

• MALVINA (9/5): - The hotel is in an excellent location and is spotlessly clean. Great value for money and an excellent welcome drink. Everyone is very helpful! The room did not have a hairdryer, but I went downstairs and they provided one. The breakfast is quite good. We were staying on the 5th floor, and for two consecutive nights the ceiling—which, as I understood, was made of plastic panels—had somehow come loose and was making an unbelievable amount of noise for several hours. It took quite some time before I realized where the noise was coming from, but once I did, I obviously went downstairs both times to ask for it to be fixed. Each time it was repaired, but if I hadn’t gone down, I would have had to put up with that noise, as if there were construction work right next to my room. Despite being on the 5th floor, when I went downstairs I naturally checked whether the noise could still be heard, and it could be heard even on the ground floor. So I wonder whether they simply didn’t pay any attention until someone made a complaint or asked for it to be fixed.

Incredibly comfortable and it was so lovely to have a pool to come back to in the heat of the afternoons. The staff were lovely and so helpful. We loved it!

La ubicación es perfecta para conocer la ciudad amurallada y andar luego por getsemani Parece que hay problemas con el barrio y la red eléctrica. El aire acondicionado siempre funcionó, pero se prendía y apagaba muy seguido haciendo sonidos incómodos, sobre todo de noche

The staff were amazing, we had been allocated a bedroom on the 5th floor without a lift in 31’ temperatures. We explained that we physically could not do this given we were recovering from a flue virus. A new room was found, thank you Voila staff. Customers need to be informed of rooms on the 5th floor before booking . Also some rooms are very small for two people.

I want to give a special thanks to Gudiela; my boyfriend was sick for two days while we were there, and she helped us with everything, even finding us accommodations at the other Voila hotel in the historic center. Diomeli and the other staff were also incredibly helpful. The internet works perfectly, and the breakfast is delicious. I definitely recommend it and we I’ll be back Thank you guys for making us feel so welcome!

• Doris (10/5): Amazing staff, great location, super clean! - Beautifully decorated and amazing staff! Centrally located to everywhere you want to be. Bed a little uncomfortable, no baseboards in rooms, seems odd for such great decor to miss that detail. Overall, please is amazing!
