• Hamilton (3/5): Not good. Surprised given the ratings. - Location was great. It didn't feel very clean, the shower was broken (both the waterfall and shower head, it was also unclean with hairs and mould around the door. The bed was very uncomfortable and I was woken by dogs barking in the middle of night 2/3 nights of my stay, lasting for hours at a time, with traffic noise very loud as well. I am now being asked to pay a tourist tax by international transfer, which was not made clear at the time of booking nor mentioned until after I had left the accommodation. There was no basic coffee/milk or even kettle/toaster in the kitchen. The host made me feel uncomfortable with pressure asking me how everything was by message regularly, as I was so disappointed I felt uncomfortable saying how disappointed I was during my stay as I was a female staying alone and there was nothing he could have done to improve the accommodation significantly during my stay.

• Angelika (10/5): - Die Wohnung war sehr schön und liebevoll ausgestattet. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Lage war sehr zentral, die Altstadt gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Alessandro ein fürsorglich Gastgeber. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen
• Enrique (10/5): - Destaco principalmente la amabilidad y buen trato del propietario y su esposa, la cordialidad y los consejos para nuestra visita a Catania. Nos recibieron mucho antes de la hora pautada de check in, facilitandonos el lugar para dejar el equipaje. El alojamiento muy limpio y ordenado. Equipado con absolutamente todo lo necesario para la estadia de 4 días. Bien ubicado, zona tranquila y con mucha oferta gastronómica cerca. A 10 minutos de la estación de tren y del centro histórico. Mejor imposible Todo muy bien, ninguna observación

La posizione della struttura perfetta , poco distante sia dai trasporti che dalle attrazioni. Staff e posizione davvero eccezionali. La biancheria,potrebbe essere cambiata.Si nota che e' datata. La doccia funzionava solo con il soffione e non con la doccetta,deviatore difettoso.

• Tony (10/5): Great spot with an attentive owner. Would stay at this location again… - Pretty sweet spot with respect to being centrally located to Catania’s tourist hotspots. The owner was definitely responsive. Need to let customers know that the key has to be fully turned in a direction to lock or unlock. But otherwise I have nothing negative to say about the property.
• Catherine (10/5): Exceptionnel - Magnifique studio, idéalement situé, à mi chemin entre le gare, la gare routière et le centre historique de Catania. Etant arrivée un peu plus tôt que prévu, j'ai pu y déposer mon bagage, la dame chargée de faire le ménage étant sur place. Tout est agencé avec beaucoup de goût, un guide documenté est à disposition des voyageurs avec toutes les informations possibles. L'histoire du quartier et de la maison y est également raconté. Alessandro, le propriétaire est extrêmement bienveillant et se tient entièrement à votre disposition. Merci à lui.

• MARIA SOLEDAD (10/5): - Es un estudio precioso en planta calle y a 5min caminando de la plaza del Duomo. Alessandro es muy amable y está pendiente de ti en todo momento. Hemos disfrutado de dos bonitos días en Catania. Totalmente recomendable

• Andreas (10/5): - Location is super convenient, near the port, train station, bus station and short walk to city squares. The area is safe in the night as well. The host Alessandro is super friendly and helpful. He let us leave our bags before check out, and also store the bags for next day until we come back. Also gave us information and tips for the city and made sure that our stay was great.

Alessandro estuvo de maravilla con nosotros, super pendiente y siempre atento a cualquier duda que tuvieramos, llegamos tarde a la casa y nos guardo un sitio de aparcamiento gratuito justo en frente de la casa! Muy agradecidos y genial todo! Nada, todo nos gustó mucho!
• Giada (10/5): La casa perfetta, estremamente consigliata! - Casa Serravalle è situata in una posizione ottimale sia per raggiungere il centro che la stazione. La casa è molto elegante, ben strutturata e soprattutto molto pulita ed ha tutto il necessario per stare bene in casa. Il punto di forza però sono sicuramente gli host: Alessandro e sua moglie sono estremamente presenti e rapidi per qualsiasi necessità e ci hanno consigliato moltissimi posti da visitare e ristoranti da provare. Would stay again and recommended the place to friends (unfortunately, it was already booked for their dates). Noisy dogs and neighbours that fought in the street.

Cleanliness, good shower and comfortable bed, all the amenities you need in the kitchen etc. The location is perfect, between the city center and the bus/train station. Alex is a great host - helpful and responsive. Thanks Alex, we had a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay at the same place. The street the apartment is on is sometimes noisy at night. The area it's in is also a little run down, but it's well lit and we felt safe.
• Zeljko (10/5): Wonderful host - I've been traveling for years, but I believe this is the most helpful host I've ever encountered, so many thanks to Alessandro and his wife, who were both really helpful and quick. The location is ideal, between the town center and the bus/railway station. You have everything you need, thus our stay was wonderful. Definitely, I would come again and stay at the same location.

Location is great, just 5 min.walking from main square. Parking also was easy to find in neighbour street. Nothing.
• Rebecca (8/5): Great property - The house was very nice, everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there. A good shower and comfortable bed, all amenities you need in a kitchen etc.. It was very clean and the host was very friendly and helpful. Very good location, 10 minutes walk from the main square, local famous fish markets and restaurants. It was mostly really great but there was only one thing that bothered us a litte, there are no windows in the property apart from the entrance door so it was quite dark and needed artificial light at all times, it depends how much time you'll spend there of course and isn't a reason to avoid the place as everything else is a high standard, and obviously it's not something the owner can change due to it being a terrraced property. It's just something to bear in mind.

• Rosa (9/5): Close to the center - The apartment is 5 min walking to the center. Perfect temperature in the room. Although it was 35 degrees outside we didn't have to switch on the aircon not even once. The neighborhood was quiete and we slept very well. I would suggest to use newer bed sheets.

• Nemtsova (8/5): Modern place, nice location, free parking. - 🟢Location, 🟢close to shops, restaurants, places to see. 🟢 Free parking. 🟢Alex was an amazing host - he speaks good English, responds very quickly, he gave us a few business cards for places to eat which gave us 10% off the bill. Also, he was very flexible for check in and out. 🔴We didn’t like the bed, especially the cheap bed linen, which was rough, full with lint. It might be a good idea to invest in a more luxurious bed linen and cover, and extra pillows as well. 🔴The flat is on the ground floor with just the front door separating you from the traffic outside, which is almost non stop, and together with the loud speaking it gets quite noisy. But I guess that’s part of the charm of Sicily! 🔴The overhead shower is dripping, even when you use the handle. 🔴 The water from the shower cubicle leaked out of it and all of the bathroom floor got flooded. It dried until morning, though. 🔴 More hooks in the bathroom would be so helpful.

• Szymon (10/5): Just a great place to stay in the heart of Catania. Highly recommended! - Great place to visit the city. Very close to the centre, literally a couple of minutes of walk to the main streets and attractions of the city life. Very nice and cosy and very modern apartament but with the feeling of the spirits of the past. Parking place easily to find in the streets around. And the owner, Alexandro, very friendly person, who can provide you with all the information that you need to explore the city. everything was ok
