Guest Reviews
- Chris (7/5): Good - Much bigger than expected. Easy enough to find with instructions. Right in the heart of the city so convenient for train, pubs, the gig we were going to. Was very cold on arrival and timers on heating kept turning off.
Massive noise from street until after 2am.
- Melissa (10/5): Perfect if wanting to be close to Sheffield City Centre - Perfect location for us as we were going to event near by. The property was very clean, the facilities, condiments and appliances available were handy too. Loved the bean bag and blankets in the living room, nice touch. The beds were super comfortable. Mason, the host, was very informative in where to find the property and the keys to get in. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Highly recommend. Thank you Mason! When the heating wasn’t on, the rooms were cold!! But mostly because it was freezing outside, this wouldn’t be so much of an issue when it’s warmer outside. The heating made a huge difference.
- Alison (8/5): Very good - Nicely decorated, kitchen amenities brilliant Next door neighbour playing really loud awful music. Entrance not the best
- Sally (8/5): Very good -
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yuk (5/5): For me, I’m not coming back again - Clean and tidy. The owner was very thoughtful that he prepared some complimentary drinks and snack for us. The location is convenient to many shops and eateries The password for door key was wrong and we had to contact someone to get the right one for access, that was a bad experience upfront. And then it was the bed linens. The scent of the laundry detergent smelled too strong that like it spilled the whole bottle on it. I felt nausea the entire night when I slept in the bed. My pj also smelled the laundry detergent even after I got home. And then it comes to the location of the house. While it was a convenient spot, there is a night pub with live music right opposite to it. The loud music and beats, noisy people’s sound just couldn’t let me sleep. It lasted from 10pm to 5am. It might be an attraction if you are a party person. Unfortunately I’m a morning person and usually go to bed at 11pm and get up at 7am. The night was horrible for me. But I’m not sure if the party is there every night. I stayed on Wednesday night this time.
- Cora (8/5): The host was very helpful and met our special request. - The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, everything you need in the kitchen was provided. Location was central. The host answered phone calls and messages right away. You could hear outside when windows were open.
- Kevin (9/5): Clean, central and cost effective - Super easy instructions to get into the property. Accommodation was very clean, superb location also. Lots of little extra touches such as cans of pop etc were very well welcomed. Nothing about the accommodation or landlord. All first class. Great sense of humour from the owner in our back and forth messages. Greatly received
- Sinead (10/5): Perfect, not 1 bad thing to say - Amazing location and brilliant apartment. The host was also great, very accommodating and friendly. Lots of extra little touches, like cans of coke left for us and milk in the fridge. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and will stay again! Thank you!
- Anna (8/5): Exceptionally well-equipped apartment in good location - The flat is in a great location, really convenient for the university and for West Street. It is exceptionally well- equipped with everything you could want there. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious and bright; both rooms have their own, compact en suite. The host is helpful and friendly. The bathroom door on one of the en suites would be better opening into the bedroom.
- Georgina (7/5): Good - We loved the small touches for comfort which made our stay more homely, for example soft drinks and biscuits left for us, access to towels, fresh linen and toiletries. Host was very friendly and helpful and quick to reply to our messages, they allowed us to check in early. We would have preferred to know the property was above a nightclub as this made it impossible to sleep comfortably. After a long travel down from Manchester we were expecting a comfortable sleep but this was difficult.
- Lauren (7/5): Good accommodation - Lovely spacious apartment and very clean Loud nightclub across the road
