• Laurens (4/5): Matig genoegen - Eigenlijk niets,zie hier onder. wat we kregen kwam niet overeen met wat in de bevestiging van booking.com werd opgegeven: geen minibar, geen foehn, geen zitje, geen wasdroger, verstopte douche afvoer waardoor de vloer onderwater kwam te staan of je moest na de eerste straal water onder de douche vandaan. Ook de airco bromde als een zwaar vliegtuig en is aan revisie toe. Maw geen aanrader. Het personeel probeerde nog wat recht te trekken, maar kreeg niets voor elkaar bij de beheerder.

• Lana (6/5): Basic, functional but clean and good size room. Good AC. - Gave us a clean, quiet safe place to stay on our Danube bike trip. We knew from our reviews there was no food nearby so we brought some and used our camping stove on the little tables out front so if you can do that you'll be ok. No place to hang a towel in the bathroom. Had to use the top of the heater. Put up a hook!
• Lachezar (10/5): Exceptional - 10/10 – Would move in if they let me! Wow – what a stay! The room was spotless (like, could-eat-off-the-floor clean… though we didn’t test that). The location? Chef’s kiss! Right in the heart of everything – we barely needed Google Maps. The service was incredible – everyone was so helpful and kind, I started wondering if they secretly knew us from somewhere. They even smiled before coffee, which should be an Olympic sport! We had an amazing time both at the hotel and exploring the city. Honestly, we left feeling rested, happy, and already planning our next visit. Huge thanks to the whole team – you guys made us feel like VIPs… or at least VHPs (Very Happy People)!
• Helen (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff, clean comfortable no fuss room with aircon. Similar to a travelodge in the UK. Easy place to stay for one night. This hotel is right on the edge of town with limited food options in immediate vicinity.
• Andrew (6/5): Pleasant - it seems that they are renovating the rooms at the moment. I think I had one of the freshly renovated ones and it's definitely a step up from what people are describing in the earlier reviews. I didn't encounter any of the staff. the check-in procedure was done over the phone. there are no chairs in the room. The fire alarm went off for 20 minutes and there was nobody there to do anything about it.

• Tomas (2/5): The room was very bad and value for money was even worse, but at least the staff was nice. - On the plus side, I must commend the staff for being genuinely friendly and approachable during our stay. Their hospitality was a silver lining in an otherwise disappointing experience. I hate to leave negative reviews, but our stay here was far below expectations, especially considering the price. Upon entering our room, we were immediately hit with a terrible odor emanating from both the bathroom and the air conditioning unit. Rather than addressing the root of the issue (which I suspect might be uncleaned mold), the management’s solution was to place overpoweringly scented perfume sticks in the room. This only compounded the problem, adding a strong chemical scent on top of the existing unpleasant smells. Using the AC was out of the question, and the overall ambiance was far from relaxing. For the price we paid, we expected a comfortable and clean environment, but what we got was a room we could barely tolerate. Definitely not value for money.

• Moldoveanu (7/5): It was OK 👍 - coffee machine 😁 Only one socket in the whole room, seriously? And no shelf in the bathroom, otherwise it was ok and thank goodness there was a coffee machine at Reception and the coffee was very good, but you must have many 1 leu banknotes😅
