• Astrid (10/5): Superfijn! - Supergoed ontbijt, lekker rustige en mooie locatie, nette en schone kamers, supervriendelijke hosts!
• Jutta (10/5): Perfekter Ort für Ruhe, Entspannte Tage in den Bergen - Wir waren auf der Durchreise von Tarifa nach Berlin für 3 Tage Gäste dieser Außergewöhnlichen kleinen Pension. Die Pension liegt etwas außerhalb von Competa am Berg. Der Empfang durch Mandy und Marcel ist sehr herzlich und die Ausstattung der 3 Zimmer ist gemütlich, komfortabel und sehr sauber. Der Pool im windgeschützten Innenbereich ist eine willkommene Erfrischung, wenn man den Weg nach Competa zu Fuß gegangen ist. Das Frühstück wird individuell zubereitet. Marcel bietet Reiki an und wir können es nur empfehlen. Sollte der Zufall uns noch einmal in diese Berge führen, ist ein Besuch bei Mandy und Marcel ganz sicher. An der Untekunft gibt es nichts zu kritisieren.

• Marcel (10/5): Uitstekende accommodatie op een geweldige plek met hele fijne mensen. - de locatie, de atmosfeer, de kamer, de gastheer en dame. Mandy en Marcel hebben er alles aan gedaan om ons verblijf in hun B&B naar wens te maken. Het is een prima stel en weten echt wat ze moeten doen om het je zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Ik mis het heerlijke ontbijt nu al....... niets

• James (10/5): Amazing stay, didn’t want to come home and will definitely be back!! - We absolutely loved the setting, immaculate grounds and a very spacious and clean room, the hosts Marcel and Mandy were amazingly friendly and welcoming, we will certainly return next year, hopefully 2 times with a bit of luck. The breakfasts they cooked were brilliant and with fresh fruit from in season, genuinely have not a single complaint.

• Ruth (10/5): Perfect spot for active and chill holiday - The whole vibe is fab. Lovely chill area for breaky, lovely pool and area to relax in the day and nice decor throughout. Breakfasts are definitely a highlight. Marcel and Mandy are great cooks and very accommodating for dietary requirements and flexible to our needs. That’s what you get with a bespoke b and b. The location is nice as it’s just out of town so more spacious.

We had the room on the 1. floor, that one was absolutely quiet. Beautiful village named Competa 20 walking minutes away with dozens of restaurants & bars, just walking through the streets is worthwile. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to escape from touristic places and have a super relaxing stay. Nada
• Luna (10/5): Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit. - Man kann sich in der Unterkunft nur wohlfühlen. Eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft mit Liebe zum Detail. Unser Zimmer war schön und die Betten sehr gemütlich. Der Außenbereich lädt zum entspannen ein durch seine entzückende Gestaltung. Mandy und Marcel selbst sind wundervolle Gastgeber. Sie sind sehr hilfsbereite, nette und humorvolle Menschen, die sehr bemüht sind den Aufenthalt der Gäste so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Es gibt jeden Morgen Frühstück nach Wunsch, welches jedes Mal sehr lecker war. Sie hatten auch nützliche Tipps für Aktivitäten in Andalusien. Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts wie Zuhause gefühlt durch das Ambiente der Unterkunft, dem Charme des Ortes Cómpeta und der fürsorglichen Art von Mandy und Marcel. Wenn wir nochmal in der Gegend Urlaub machen, würden wir wieder diese Unterkunft wählen. Danke für Alles. ❣️ Nichts, wir waren wunschlos glücklich
• Annet (10/5): Vaas Tragabalas waar zelfs je stress vakantie neemt! - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Casa Tragabalas – waar zelfs je stress vakantie neemt! Er is werkelijk niets op te merken aan Casa Tragabalas — behalve dat je er waarschijnlijk nooit meer weg wilt. Nog voordat we uit de auto konden kruipen, stond Marcel, de praatgrage maar uiterst charmante gastheer, al naast ons. Je hoeft de deur niet eens te bellen — hij voelt blijkbaar aan wanneer je in de buurt bent. 🔮 Via de poort kom je op een binnenplaats die rechtstreeks uit een Ibiziaanse droom lijkt te komen: zwembad, ligbedden en… een welkomstdrankje in de hand nog voordat je je koffer hebt neergezet. 🥂 De kamers? Ibiza-stijl deluxe. Alles aanwezig: koffie, thee, water, wijn… kortom, als je hier dorst hebt, is dat je eigen schuld. ☕️🍷 Het ontbijt is zó gezond dat je spontaan een fitnessabonnement overweegt — maar dan bedenk je je, want de avocado’s, olijven en verse broodjes smaken veel te goed. 🥑🍞 Mandy en Marcel lezen je gedachten: voordat je zegt wat je wilt, staat het al op tafel. Het dorpje zelf heeft charmante restaurantjes (soms met meer charme dan stoelen), maar op aanraden van Marcel kwamen we terecht op een Ierse avond… en dat werd een comedyshow op zich. 😂 Pizza van thuisbezorgd.nl in de kroeg, gin tonic in de hand, en spierpijn van het lachen. Kortom: Casa Tragabalas is niet zomaar een verblijf, het is een ervaring. Luxe, gezellig, hilarisch — een plek waar je komt voor rust, maar vertrekt met buikspieren van het lachen. 😜 Niets op aan te merken
• TheTraveller007 (10/5): Ga je naar Cómpeta dan zit je hier op de eerste rang! - Het warme welkom door Mandy & Marcel is top en je weet al snel: deze B&B is echt geweldig. Als je aan komt rijden, verwacht je zeker niet dit aan te treffen. Het ontbijt is boven alle verwachting. Zeg maar wat je wil eten en het wordt voor je klaargemaakt. Voor versgetapt koud drinkwater hoef je er niet op uit. Bed en douche zijn ook perfect. Door de goeie verhalen en gesprekken met Mandy & Marcel ga je telkens later weg dan je gepland had. Maar in hoeverre dat een tegenvaller is, maak je zelf uit. 😉🤩

• Janneke (10/5): Een heerlijke zorgvrije uitvalsbasis om Andalusië te ontdekken - De perfecte uitvalsbasis om Andalusië te ontdekken: Heerlijk rustig gelegen in de bergen, op loopafstand van een gezellig dorpje, op rijafstand van vele trekpleisters, sfeervolle en schone kamers, een paradijselijke tuin met zwembad én fantastisch ontbijt om je dagen mee te starten. Daarbovenop zijn de hosts ontzettend gezellig, vriendelijk en weten ze je veel te vertellen over de omgeving én aan te bevelen. Mandy en Marcel, superbedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid, flexibiliteit en enorm goede zorgen! We komen heel graag nog eens terug :)

El aparcamiento era poco espacioso para dos coches únicamente y teniendo que hacer algunas filigranas para aparcar. La piscina estaba muy bien pero había muchas avispas que nos dificultaban el baño.

The apartments are very clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the beautiful terrace with its view – the mornings spent there with a cup of coffee will remain in our memory for a long time. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful – from the very first moment we felt truly welcome. I really appreciated their attention to detail and the care they showed to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible. Marcel and Mandy are two wonderful, warm-hearted hosts who pour their soul into this special place – you feel welcome from the very first moment. The garden is absolutely enchanting – filled with beautiful flowers, thoughtful decorations, cozy seating areas, and a fantastic pool area that invites you to relax and unwind. Two adorable cats roam freely, adding even more charm to this little paradise. The accommodation offers a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the amazing cuisine. The food is simply divine, with a huge variety of flavors and options available through a creative ticket ordering system. Everything is freshly prepared with care and love – truly delicious! Marcel and Mandy also offer great recommendations for local experiences: hikes, beaches, waterfalls – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of authentic local restaurants nearby serving excellent Spanish dishes and tapas, all at various price ranges – many are even within a 15-minute walk. The charming town of Cómpeta is another highlight – a picturesque village full of friendly people, cozy cafés, lively bars, and fantastic restaurants. Perfect for a relaxed stroll or a sunset drink. We felt completely at home and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. This place is magical, peaceful, and the perfect base for exploring or simply doing nothing at all. We will definitely be back! 💛

Breakfast was delicious and we could have whatever we wanted. Within walking distance of Cómpeta centre too. Marcel and Mandy couldn’t have been more lovely and helpful. We felt really welcome. Highly recommended.

The accommodation was so lovely and our hosts - Mandy & Marcel - were absolutely fantastic. They were attentive, made wonderful breakfasts and a pleasure to see each morning. Nothing - everything was perfect.
• Loes (9/5): The perfect place to stay for a short or longer trip exploring the area and enjoying its foods and scenery - The location is beautiful and the house is amazing. Run by a very sweet couple who make the best breakfast. It’s even more ideal that it’s just three rooms which means you’ll have sufficient privacy and detention from the hosts and they’re adorable cats. They also know the area very well so we got great recommendations for restaurants and hikes around the area What’s not to like?
• Jane (10/5): Heaven! - This is a lovely oasis - nice room, lovely courtyard, welcoming guests, and I just loved that pool. Marcel and Mandy were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. If all of that wasn't enough - the breakfasts were divine! Different every day - well done Marcel - apple french toasts, juice, smoothies, fruit gazpacho, coffee, toast and honey, Mandys yoghurt fruit bowl with homemade granola. Avocado toast, cooked breakfast in a cast iron pan . . We loved them all!! There is only three rooms, and I had the pool to myself most if the time, and I could have stayed there all day!! Nothing could have been better - Mandy and Marcel have made a truly beautiful, idyllic, oasis!

The room was lovely with a great view. Lovely communal space to relax by the pool The road up is quite narrow, not an issue for a small car.
• Andre (10/5): Beautiful location! - The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The setting is small and intimate, creating a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed. We especially enjoyed the delicious home-cooked breakfast. The location is beautiful, just slightly outside the town centre, offering stunning views. There’s also a lovely swimming pool, which we couldn’t use due to the weather, but I can imagine it’s perfect during warmer months. Overall, a wonderful stay – highly recommend! There’s nothing to dislike about this lovely place Just a tip: having a car is ideal as it’s a bit outside the town centre, and the roads can be windy, specially at night. That said, the host’s clear directions made it easy to find, and the peaceful, scenic setting is well worth it!
