Guest Reviews
- Sharon (5/5): Generally met our needs but garden definitely needs sorting out and equipment to be checked over. - Well equipped kitchen
Decking area
Good bed for disabled person
It was clean and recently refurbished - Armchair riser only worked intermittently which made transfers difficult with our disabled mum
- Garden was really unkempt front and back - depressing to look out onto
- On a very busy main road
- bathroom/wet room not very big at all and made transfers with mum difficult
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (10/5): Made the short break exceptional. Thankyou - Had everything anyone could want. Fantastically equipped for disabled including hoists both ceiling and portable and a profiling bed and shower chair/camode in the wet room. Even had Roku boxes for the TVs All looked after beautifully. Truly great value for money the bungalow made everything easy
- Loraine (9/5): Relaxing except for the rain - Facilities were great Cooking was difficult. No mixing bowl and no high sided roasting tin.
- Patricia (9/5): Lovely place to stay , had every think you needed - Had everything you needed for a disabled person
- Tian (8/5): comfortable, and clean accommodation. - newly decorated, clean, has parking space on the drive shower experience could be better.
there are two bathrooms. main bathroom has a bath and over the Bath shower. but we could not shower there as there was no shower curtain or wall unit to hold the shower head.
we used shower in the wet room , which did the job. but as it is a electric shower. it was not very powerful.
I am sure this issue can be resolved with additions in the main bathroom.
- Racheal (10/5): Fantastic, spacious and great location. - This bungalow had everything we needed to be able to enjoy a last holiday with our disabled father. It took the stress out of worrying if he would be comfortable during the stay. It had everything from tea bags to children's cutlery and even picnic cutlery. The only thing we would have liked is to be able to get normal telly. Also a telly in the bedroom with the profile bed would have been really good as well. But minimal in capirison to others places I have stayed.
