- John (1/5): I didn’t stay - I didn’t stay the power in the town of weed was off the motel said I couldn’t stay under those conditions The motels power was out go check with them and return my money
- Deras (1/5): - The apartment was very dirty, smelled terrible, was very cold, and the heating was very noisy. The beds and sheets were bad, and the bathroom and towels were not good.
- runyora (9/5): Good stay - Good olacel Good everything
- CaiTing (6/5): -
- Bonnie (4/5): Good location;rug tes - Centrally located in town. Staff very pleasant. Rug resllly needed cleaning looked dirty and stained; afraid to walk on it.
- Rachel (10/5): It was a good place to stay. - The couple who lived on property were very kind and conscientious. The room was clean and had the amenities (mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot and toiletries) needed to make it feel like a home away from home.
- Takuya (1/5): Nightmare at awake. Odors…… - Nothing Absolutely Disgusting—Avoid This Hotel
Nothing about this place was okay.
TL;DR: The hotel is filthy, and we were price gouged—charged $201 for a room that’s now showing at $84.
From the moment we walked in, we were hit with an overwhelming musty odor. Our room was an awkwardly connected setup for a second bed, and when we opened the interior door, an even worse mildew stench poured out. Running the AC only made it worse since the smell was partly coming from the unit itself. We had to open every window for hours just to make it barely tolerable, but the reek never fully left.
While the sheets at least smelled laundered, it didn’t matter because the room’s foul odor clung to everything.
Other disgusting details:
• Mildew on the shower curtain
• Toilet constantly hissing thanks to a taped-up chain
• Microwave caked with old, baked-on food residue
This place is dirty, overpriced, and downright gross. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me.
- Carol (6/5): It was a clean, no frills comfort for 1 night stay which is what I was seeking - Convenient location, small complex The card reader on the door was very finicky requiring many swipes to get the green light to open it
- Isaacgoren (2/5): Very poor - Location Staff
They made a paper copy of my DL without my authorization
Front door booking.com sign showing rate of 8.0

- Dr (1/5): Total Dive with Very Rude Property Managers - Not one thing. They claimed they did not have my reservation for the room I reserved upon my arrival at the property. Additionally, both the male and female property managers were extremely rude to me. I would not go here or reserve anything here again. I also would not recommend this place to anyone. It looks on the outside like a total dive, and it has almost no parking. The parking it does have is small and cramped. All of it. - Cagle (1/5): Ruined my 25 wedding anniversary. - The rooms had garbage chips used tissue and hair ties in the floor. And someone else's keys. The lady walked in the room without knocking. And fallowed my family like we was doing something wrong. Made me fill very uncomfortable. Would not recommend.
- Richard (9/5): Courteous staff, clean room, reasonable rates. - NANA NAco
- Karen (5/5): Okish but has dirty sheets - Dirty sheets with yellow stains. Looked like very old not very clean sheets.
- Dale (5/5): nice but would not make it my choice - just the price in the area Parking was small, needed repair
- Craig (1/5): Upon arrival motel could not process credit cards & was accepting cash only--reservation canceled. -
- Paul (5/5): Passable -
- Phaniendra (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (7/5): Ok for a overnight stay - Motorcycle Freindly Couple nearby having a loud drama festival
- Stefanie (8/5): Very good - Quiet The room felt dark and gloomy
- Walter (2/5): Very poor - No Breakfast, no amenities, freezing cold room, took a long time to warm up with the noisy wall mounted heater. The sheets weren't changed! I looked closely and someone had slept in the bed.
- Ivan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Dennis (7/5): Good - Clean, comfortable. Heater was very noisy, and the shower had no soap.
- Oleg (1/5): Bad -
- Michelle (9/5): A nice place to rest for the night. - The location was very quiet.
- Gayle (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (8/5): Good room with accomodating owners - Self contained, all there, fridge, bathroom, all you need. Large supermarket 5 min drive away, 8 miles from shasta. Quite clean. Owners pleasant and eager to please. Parking easy. Fairly quiet.
- Keiko (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- David (8/5): Very good - I have stayed here for years. It is convenient and clean with an accommodating staff.
- Mj (7/5): Pleasant place for the price. - Location is close to the exit from freeway, very convenient. quiet area. Bed is comfortable, AC is working well. Room is a little small, but it doesn't matter as all we need is a place to rest for the night. Seems like a family owned business and am a supporter of small businesses. I believed there is water leakage coming from the room adjacent to our room. We have not taken shower yet, but the floor is already wet. I heard the occupants next door were taking showers early in the morning. It subsided but still kind of gross. Have to put a towel over the wet spot. Did not inform the front desk since we are checking out that day. We only stayed overnight.
- Lucy (9/5): Superb -
- Theresa (8/5): Very good - Lack of heating
- Donna (7/5): Good - Price was affordable! The bed was not very comfortable.
- Susan (1/5): Keeping driving - There was nothing to like. I drove 10 hours and had no choice in the area to stay. This was the only available place. Lucky me I wouldn't let my dogs sleep there. Smelled like piss, noisy, unwelcoming, looked closed down from the curb. I felt like I was in India with the dark velvet decor. Disgusting to say the least. I was awake from midnight till 4. The noise was terrible. People coming and going, loud and slamming doors. I was out of that hell hole by 4 am
- Lonnie (7/5): Good -
- Suria (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (9/5): Great service, comfortable bed and good AC - Great customer service from staff Nothing
- Annette (1/5): Don’t go there - Nothing at all We had booked a three-bed room on booking. When we arrived, the woman in the reception said that the room we had booked were not available. They had used it for people staying 10 days instead. Se didn’t even apologize. She said that we should go to a motel across the street (Hi-Lo) and they would know that we were coming. So we went there, but the three guys in the reception knew nothing about it and they didn’t believe that we had booked three beds (even though we had the proof). In their system it was two beds. So they blamed “booking”for making a mistake. They didn’t want to give us the 3 beds, but we could instead pay for two new rooms (much more than the original price at Townhouse Motel). We argued for so long, but there was nothing we could do. So we ended up leaving and drove to Klamath Falls to find a much nicer motel for the same amount.
We never went into Townhouse Motel, but from the outside and from the inside of the reception, it looked very sketchy.
- Destiny (9/5): Great stay and friendly staff - It was clean, staff was super friendly and it’s directly across from a dollar general and a weed souvenir shop so it was in a perfect location! Staff was friendly and the check in process was super quick and easy
- Lester (6/5): Pleasant -
- George (8/5): Very good -
- Kris (5/5): Passable - Convenient location, staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a no pet policy yet clumps of pet hair on the floor. (Allergic to pet hair/dander)It looked like they had been very busy and maybe missed vacuuming the room. The air conditioner wasn’t working and it had not been reported. The staff was exceptional when notifying them of issues.
- Jim (6/5): Met the need - Bed was comfortable.Staff was courteous. Pretty basic. Obviously, an old building with minor deferred maintenance
- Perlstein (4/5): Disappointing - The lady at the desk was very kind! The room smelled so strongly of cleaning products that it was hard to sleep. There was no way to air it out even though we tried.
- Meredith (8/5): We love Weed! This was a great, nostalgic motel! Friendly staff and clean rooms! - The location in downtown Weed was perfectly central. We walked to shops and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The young man who checked us in was friendly and efficient.
The furnishings were older, but our rooms were very clean and the place was quiet. My bed was really comfortable and the sheets were so soft! I had a very good night's sleep.
In the morning we went across the street to get coffee and drove to our next destination. We love Weed! A great value! I wish HGTV could come in and revamp this place! It is charming, but a re-done bathroom would and new furniture would go a long way.
- Mariann (1/5): No, just no! - This place was dirty. We had no other options because the place we booked had air conditioning problems. We were booked into a tiny room. The tv, refrig. And microwave were all plugged into the same plug strip. No other plugs were availavle for our use. Paper cups in room were not sealed in plastic. Killed a spider crawling across my arm in bed. All this for $126. DO NOT STAY HERE.
- Charles (6/5): This place is in downtown Weed and is about 1/2 the price of the places right off the freeway. - The best thing about this place was the price. Not very many amenities.
- Ramprasad (6/5): This is an economical motel, However, cleanliness could be improved for a decent stay experience. - The room with two queen beds was very congested. The ambience of the room was dull and not so clean. The towels were worn out. Spacious rooms, Need additioal cleanliness, More towels and newer towels.
- Christy (3/5): Not pleasant due to the lack of hygiene. - Friendly staff, great location. There were hairs in the bathroom and on the bed, the room smelled very bad.
- Eugene (8/5): Very good -
- Rita (5/5): Adequate but not great. - No breakfast. Bathroom was too small. Tub was too tall to get in. 2 if 3 people are handicapped. Toilet was too low.
- Harrison (10/5): Exceptional - The Motel is right off the freeway and perfect for some one or a group that is just having rest time there and are exploring more of Shasta. We had an absolute amazing time, it was very clean, and the owner was very polite and helpful. We had tons of restaurants and stores we could walk to. Definitely will be our place to stay every time we visit Shasta County. I liked everything about the property. If you really must, bring extra body wash and shampoo&conditioner. If you have a bad back like myself I always bring an extra pillow with me anywhere and I forgot this time but it was still very pleasant.
- Phillip (3/5): Nice area, but for $150, the hotel definitely wasn't worth it. - The location was convenient to get to the freeway quickly and Mt Shasta was just a walk outside from view. For the most part, it was easy to see that cleanliness wasn't a big deal to the owners. The bedding was dirty even though it smelled clean. The floor wasn't completely vacuumed as we could see several spots where there were food crumbs. The shower head was spraying everywhere because they haven't cleaned the holes. Overall, pretty disgusted with cleanliness.
- Johan (4/5): Disappointing - There was a adapted shower Bed very uncomfortable for 2 persons. Only 1 bedlamp in doubtful condition. Tv snowy. Still to expensive for the accomodation!〔
- John (4/5): Disappointing - Old with carpets.
Parking lot needs Re paving!
- Michael (3/5): Trash -
- Alexander (7/5): A nice getaway for a good price - Small, cheap, and comfortable. A good place to stay if you are mostly enjoying the surroundings. It is near so many conveniences that everything you need is within walking distance. Shower was weird/small. Kept leaking water all over the bathroom floor.
- William (8/5): Nice/Adiquate -
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant -
- Matthew (8/5): Very good - Close to the freeway Took the heater a long time to make the room comfortable
- Beate (1/5): horrible place - we had two rooms super loud road noise -- sounds as if trucks go right through the room. there was no warm water. rooms were not very clean
- Courtney (3/5): Not satisfied with service, location and the room. Find someplace safer - Nothing really. It was dirty, a horrible location, I felt unsafe. Dirty , bad location, had sexual workers right outside the property, front desk worker was ok but didn’t seem happy, wish I had stayed in Sunnyvale, Cupertino, or Mountain View. Completely different experience.
- Lloyd (5/5): Just a quick one night stay on the way back to the Bay Area from a late start in Oregon - Good location Staff was courteous as we arrived at 11:30 pm to check us in Couldn’t use the heater at night while sleeping as the fan was extremely loud
- Sonia (4/5): Not great - Room had dirty bed spread very large stain , had to get a new pillow case one used was stained , bathroom hot water did not work- took very long time
- Ross (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mil-o (7/5): Decent roadtrip stop for a night - Weed is a small town but the motels are very expensive. Townhouse is a reasonably priced alternative. It was fine for a one night stop on a road trip. Chemical smells, broken items (drapery, freezer cover in fridge). Walls so thin I heard upstairs renter cough and talking.
- Gregory (7/5): Good -
- Margaret (7/5): Good -
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant -
- Richard (4/5): Disappointing -
- Lonnie (1/5): Will never go back or recommend. - Bedsheets were stained, carpet was filthy, management barely spoke english.
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant - Bathroom sink was clogged
- Shirley (10/5): Exceptional - Room 105! View..
- Wilson (6/5): Pleasant - Location Felt like a transient hotel
- Ramaraj (6/5): Pleasant -
- Elise (9/5): Restful, quiet rest. - I liked that I could arrive late. It’s so close to the espresso and bakery place to grab breakfast and go. I am pretty sure there was at least one car parked in the lot closest to the building using the WiFi. It is probably time to chang the password!
- Dustin (8/5): Great staff, good $$, will stay here again. - We were in room 115, the room and bathroom were very clean. Air conditioner worked well. Water pressure was great. The check in was easy, and staff was very friendly. We would stay here again. The ONLY bad thing was the bed. It was insanely firm like a box spring. There were only 2 pillows on the bed, but we grabbed a couple at the local store.
- Albert (5/5): Passable -
- Mark (3/5): Never again will i go there - I liked that there was a table and chair to do my work The room smelled and the shower was dirty. I could also hear the neighbors and the door did not lock from the inside
- Daryl (2/5): Would not consider staying at this property again - Location Climate control was marginal. Bedding was inadequate. Television controls worked partially. Check in was slow and inaccurate. Staff claimed credit card failed even after they checked me in and gave me a receipt for the charges. Called later to ask if I was going to check-in
- Nahid (7/5): Quiet area, nice weather, nice staff. - Friendly, caring staff.
Quiet area, could sleep:)
Nice weather! I didn't like the old sheets, blanket and comforter set as well as the chair and desk chair.
I used my own sheets and cleaned everywhere with disinfectant before we settle.
Also guests were smoking close to our room! I had to wait for them to finish smoking to be able to open the door.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Teresa (3/5): We were disappointed in the motel for the price we paid - No breakfast was offered A key was not available for our room. Someone had to open it if we left
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Just needed coffee No coffee
- Jim (8/5): Very good -
- Glen (6/5): Pleasant - Convenient, clean linens etc, a little nicer than expected. Tokens offered for morning coffee at local cafe since no longer offered at the accomodation reception Tepid water (evening) in shower, vintage microwave, awkward room layout (but it was an Accessible room so maybe some decisions had to be made).
- Charles (9/5): A nice, basic room at a decent price. Off the main highway (I-5) in downtown Weed. -
- Kathryn (9/5): Convenient and affordable place to stay on a two day road trip from WA to CA. Easy parking and friendly service. Clean r - Location and price. A huge commercial size washer was right outside my room. Sort of felt weird having it there. Maybe they had not figured out where to put it.(?)
- Greg (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (4/5): Disappointing -
- Donald (8/5): Very good -
- Phil (7/5): Good -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (3/5): Poor - It was noisy. The room smelled. The biggest thing is the toilet didn't work! And the front office was closed so I couldn't even let them know!
- Vishsh (7/5): Best location, friendly staff - The location was good, and the staff was friendly and allowed us for early check-in. Bed was not very much comfortable, carpets I didn't like since they contained a lot of germs, and I was visiting with my family with an infant kid crawling on that carpet.
- Salle (4/5): Disappointing - Check in was pleasant Carpeting
