• Rosemary (10/5): Very relaxing and comfortable. - The house was comfortable, warm and well-equipped, with an interesting mix of furniture & decoration that added to the ambience. Its location was good, with only a 15 min mostly flat walk to the centre of town. The weather wasn’t such that I could sit out, but there is a nice garden with seating. I was very happy with the house and would readily come back if I came to Stamford again. Thank you! Stamford itself is lovely - beautiful old buildings in Cotswold stone, interesting selection of independent and other shops & some great restaurants - I had a wonderful Sunday lunch in The Slanted Door.
• Perry (9/5): Clean and spacious . - Clean light airy well presented accommodation with parking, and an easy walk to the town centre . Steep stairs, but website v clear about that .

• Milan (9/5): Superb - Well located for Rutland water and well equipped for our short stay away. Facilities were really good and contact with owner is just a phonecall away. Off road parking is a bit tight but doable and didn't cause us any problem.

• Caroline (10/5): Fantastic house close to Stamford town centre - Very spacious, modern house with all the facilities you need. Very clean and well equipped. Comfortable bedrooms and very nice bathroom. Nice garden. Only stayed for a short break, which was a shame as would have liked a longer break there. Only a 15 min walk into Stamford so didn’t need to drive. The off street parking is only for a small car and so had to park my car on the road outside. I think that needs to be clearer in the description. Although that was fine, a larger SUV or estate wouldn’t fit outside the house due to the neighbour parking over the front of the property.
• Gaynor (10/5): fabulous house. - The property was clean and warm with a really lovely atmosphere. We loved the mix of modern and retro furnishings, The kitchen space was amazing! Nothing! Except if they had let me know when recycling day was I would have put out our newspapers instead of leaving them by their bin.
• Kathryn (9/5): Superb - Clean, well appointed property, we particularly liked the kitchen and the option of using the garden (had the weather been better). Being able to walk into Stamford instead of driving was also a bonus.
• Hilary (9/5): Ideal for visiting Stamford - We really loved spending a few days in this warm, comfortable & deceptively large house which was fully equipped with everything we needed to self-cater for a few days; there was nothing lacking for preparing, cooking and serving meals. The very comfortable bed and lovely bedding made for good sleeps. Great lighting, modern appliances and interesting art pieces afforded us the opportunity to experience a different style of living albeit for a short while. Ability to walk into Stamford town centre was one reason we booked and we had a lovely day as a result, walking into town and back then putting our feet up when we got back. It did feel like a home from home but with a twist. Excellent communication from owners with messages giving information about key collection & to check that all was OK, as well as a personalised letter on arrival with information about the property. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed staying there. Thank you. Not a dislike for us but just to make others aware that the front parking space wouldn't be suitable for a long estate car as car would overhang the footpath & interior staircase is very steep with narrow treads.
• Mick (10/5): Exceptional - The location and facilities were spot on couldn't ask for anything better, a blend of old and new decor really complimented the ambience of the house, We definitely would recommend any family or friends of ours to stop here. And will certainly be wanting to stop here in the near future to enjoy another relaxing time. Nothing to dislike

• Ian (10/5): A fabulous house, beautifully presented with everything you need for a wonderful stay. - A great location - we were going to Burghley each day and it was 5 minutes in the car. About 2 minutes to the Morrisons nearby. Very peaceful location, and relaxing after the stress of each day's competition. Nothing to fault at all. The weather was stunning, so the back garden was very useful indeed - we were only sorry that the nights weren't cold enough to use the beautiful open fire (logs split and supplied).
