- Svenja (6/5): - Sehr nette Lage, schöne Terrasse, Wäscheleinen verfügbar, gemütliches Bett,nette Besitzerin, sehr familiär Zimmer war wirklich sehr klein, sehr hellhörig alles. Nebenan war eine Baustelle mit viel Baulärm. Leider wurde ausschließlich spanisch gesprochen, das ist kein Problem sollte aber vorher erwähnt werden.

- Ricsac (8/5): Acogedora - Era feriado y estaba disponible, muy amable el anfitrión. Eso sí un poco alejado y hay muchos perros que te atacan, aunque preferible a la delincuencia de otros lados La ubicación
- Fernando (2/5): Falta de control de excesos de huéspedes - Ubicación No controlaron a jóvenes borrachos que hacían mucho ruido en la madrugada y ensuciaron la hostería. Llamamos y enviamos mensajes para pedir que impidieran eso, pero nadie contestó.

- Terence (8/5): A good place to stay in Mindo. - The facilities were good and priced well for a solo traveler.

- Cristina (4/5): Too uncomfortable for the price - The staff was nice and helpful. The pillows and the matress were extremely uncomfortable. The place was noisy.
- Epi (8/5): Good affordable place in lovely Mindo - La Tranquilidad is a quaint little accommodation in lovely Mindo. This was our second stay at la tranquilidad. The beds are good, the shower is good, location is good and the prices is really good. What else do you need? Windows are a bute funny in this hostel.
- Rachael (4/5): Disappointing - Location is great and shower was hot with good pressure. The hosting family are very kind and welcoming. Our room was upgraded to a private bathroom as a kind gesture from the host. Free filtered water. The price was incredibly cheap compared to others in the area. The kitchen didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks, the plates were stacked on the draining board and dusty. There was a bug in the sink that remained there for the duration of our stay. There were ants in the bed and in the bathroom. There were no bowls for us to use in the kitchen for breakfast. I wouldn't stay there again.

- Imogen (10/5): Peaceful, homely, clean and comfortable! - Lovely spot with hammocks outside, view of the nature, good kitchen and drinking water, hot water in the shower and comfortable clean room. The family who run the place were really friendly, helped us store our stuff and even use the bathroom after check out after our hiking. Highly recommend!
- Epi (8/5): Nice place, good price - Comfortable accommodation for a good price. It was nice that there was filtered water available as well as a small kitchen. The hammocks in the shared spaces were a nice touch. The stairs to the rooms is quite steep, especially with luggage

- Onno (7/5): Good - Great location and friendly hosts, even though we didn't have that much interaction with them. Most of the other rooms were free, and we loved the space and quietness during the day. The hammocks were great to relax in and the kitchen downstairs (open kitchen connected to the living room of the hosts) is simple but sufficient. Great to have a fridge to store some fresh stuff! The room was quite moist, but that's probably hard to avoid in that climate. We found a family of super small ants walking our duvet when we arrived - which was relatively easily solved. We had a hard time catching sleep however, due to another reason. Having read other reviews, other guests seem to have had more luck. Maybe it was because we visited over the weekend (Friday + Saturday)? However, both nights, at least until 5-6am in the morning, we were kept awake by loud talking. As the night progressed, the voices became louder and very disturbing. We couldn't really figure out the source of the sounds, maybe the neighbours are night lovers. Unfortunately, this caused us to wake up quite tired every day.

- Pauline (9/5): Good place to stay for few nights :) - Good hostel! The family is really nice and the rooms are good. A couple of hammocks and a kitchen with filtered water and a fridge. Few minutes away from the centre but Mindo is small anyway :)
- Anna (9/5): A relaxing place to stay - The room was comfy and nice, and the hammocks were great to relax in. It’d close to the Main Street of shops and restaurants but also quiet at night. There were quite a lot of ants and the walls are very thin so you can hear roosters early in the morning (though you can also hear birds which was a bonus)

The rooms a small but good enough for solo travelers and couples. I think there's a room for a small group as well.

- Sabine (7/5): Good for a short stay - Location is good - only a few minutes from the center. We liked the hammocks to chill out. The owners are very nice. Free water in the kitchen Because of the name “Tranquilidad” we expected a quiet place. The walls were so extremely thin that you heard every noise from the other guests. We woke up several times because of that (nightly activities from a couple next to us). Also the dogs of the neighbor are barking all the time. The kitchen was very basic. Only small pans, so only a single person can cook something small. For preparing breakfast it was okay.
