Guest Reviews
- Mia (10/5): -
- Sandy (9/5): Filled up my cup, I will be back and bring friends. - Moods of the rooms gave me somewhere to be in the sun or by the fire in in the heart of the cottage with the great kitchen diner area, the super cute bathroom the choice of bedroom moods, I just loved the way it gave me so much to choose from, even an outside picnic space on the verandah next to an ancient cherry tree in blossom...loved the unique kitchen cabinets and all the collections both tasteful, useful and desirable. It was comfortable, restful and inspirational, humble yet elevated. Very cleverly put together. That I only had a short stay...great place to immerse your inner artist bring along your journal or watercolours, sketch book and camera.
- Lauren (6/5): Had potential but needs some attention - The lounge room was comfortable I don’t think it had been cleaned in a while, there were bugs, spiders and spiderwebs everywhere. We understand it’s the country but the house and doorways were covered in cobwebs.
The main bed was so hard, we left a day early unfortunately.
And the bathroom, that shower was so messy. We had to use all our towels to clean up the water.
- Catherine (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): - The property was absolutely gorgeous, and we had such a beautiful stay. The renovation of the property and all the design aspects were outstanding with lots of thought gone into the little things that a make a stay extra special.
Comfortable beds, lovely linens, cosy lounge and fireplace (not required when we were there).
We just loved it and would love to stay again. Hope to be back in Warburton again soon. Nothing - it was fantastic
- Robyn (8/5): -
- Thanise (10/5): Relaxing and beautiful. - The sunroom and all the little amenities (coffee, tea, biscuits, body lotion) were great. Bed is very very comfortable. Communication with hosts was very good and quick. One of the best places we have stayed at! Cannot wait to come back. We had an issue with our booking (initially we had booked their other property, which was apparently double booked) but hosts offered us this other property instead. After that, no issues at all, we had a great time.
- Rebecca (10/5): - We loved the cottage aesthetic and peaceful home-like vibe.
We loved being able to prepare food.
The fireplace added extra warmth and comfort. As did all the heaters.
We loved the complimentary toiletries and have already placed an order for our own.
We also loved the welcome information pack which covered everything we needed to know about the place. The locks were a little bit difficult.
And the bath is quite narrow, but still enjoyable.

- Molly (6/5): Cosy garage in Warburton - Location was ideal, just a short walk into town. Wonderful furniture/deco , magazines were a great touch and the shower was lovely. I’d say the pictures are misleading, the sign makers cottage is a very small tin garage and is very close to the other cottage so there isn’t much privacy.
Unfortunately it’s very close to road so you can hear the car noise at night.
The heating took a long time to heat up the space and then shone a light all night over the bed so you couldn’t keep it on at night even though it was freezing in Winter.
Asking guests to strip the beds and take the bins out , I feel this is what you’re paying for when you go on holiday is not to need to do this?
- Paula (10/5): - Home filled with character. Comfy beds and thoughtful inclusions. Quiet location close to town. Felt super welcomed with excellent communication from hosts and lights on when we arrived in the evening. Bonus: a kookaburra hanging out right near the sunroom!
- Ella (10/5): Cosy, comfortable and relaxing. A real winter delight. - The wood fire was an absolute delight and kept the cottage warm throughout.
Big Comfortable Bed was luxurious and warm.
The claw foot bathtub was such a treat and very relaxing.
The entire cottage did not disappoint.
- Megan (9/5): A lovely couple of days in a very clean comfy cottage that had a great feel and everything you need. - Clean and had nearly everything you need .
Felt homely and comfortable , great couch. Would have loved a little washer and dryer, but certainly wasnt a deal breaker
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location. A lot of Wildlife. Very cozy and excellent facilities provided. The TV was modern enough to cast which was very handy.
- Fiona (8/5): Warburton is a lovely place to visit. - A very quaint and quirky cottage, full of interesting art, books and knick knacks. The kitchen was well set up with plenty of cooking equipment, crockery & cutlery. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, as was the living room. The setting was very peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed hearing lots of bird song. We hadn’t realised that there was no separate shower. While it’s nice to occasionally soak in a bath, the current shower facilities over the tub were difficult to use without accidentally splashing water on the floor. Also, the mechanism that holds up the shower curtain was very wobbly and insecure.
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -

- Denise (8/5): Very good -

- Frances (10/5): Comfy little getaway. - This accommodation was great. About the most comfy bed I’ve had in holiday stays. Everything we needed for a couple of days retreat. Very clean. Extra little touches like great quality tea leaves (not bags), good coffee, good cocoa and marshmallows for hot chocolate. Very comfy and relaxing stay.
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Samarter (8/5): Very good -
- Jess (10/5): Absolutely perfect! - Beautiful decor, comfortable bedding, good wifi connection and kitchen amenities. Amazing location.
Great communication from hosts.
- Jacob (8/5): Great stay, would recommend for those who want a weekend away from the city and to go hiking. - Everything was really nice. Need a bigger trash can inside. Maybe a bit over priced for what it was.
- Yvette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suzi (9/5): Perfect little escape not too far from the city to relax and enjoy the surrounds. - It was a cosy little converted 'Garage' I think with lovely wooden floors and the perfect décor to really give the cottage a great ambience. All you needed was there, the cute little kitchen had everything we needed for easy breakfast prep. There was an electric fry pan and plug in hot plate if you really wanted to cook your own meals. The hosts were extremely helpful especially when I was a but tech challenged and couldn't locate my very informative message.
- Zac (10/5): Exceptional - Great vibe and super clean. Was a great comfy place to stay for the weekend. Nothing
- Sharene (9/5): Superb - The cottage is beautifully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Modern decor and very clean. Comfortable bed. Cute small kitchen with everything to cook in. Good shower. The only hiccup we had was we could not see a sign for the cottage and ended up in the next door neighbours driveway. The cottage just looks like a tin shed from the outside. It was the neighbour who told us the accommodation was next door.It is a bit of a walk into the town and uphill on way back but a nice walk.
- Heidi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simone (6/5): Clean, comfortable accommodation - The garden is just beautiful, the room beautifully presented and immaculately clean, the kitchen very well equipped, and the water and water pressure hot and strong. It is a light, comforting space with beautiful linens and recycled wood.
The heating system, so necessary in this area, works well, although I don't know how it would work when it's snowing on the mountain above. The hosts' communications were very poor. There was so much marketing BS in their emails that it was hard to find the information I needed WHEN I needed it.
When I asked for the information I wanted (keys and wifi) I got an email telling me it was in a previous email (which one?) and would I like them to resend it. Even not knowing that I had just come off a long haul flight and was saying goodbye to my mother dying in the nursing home nearby, I felt that, as hosts, you could have been just a little bit gracious and just resent the email or copied the relevant bits. I really didn't need your passive aggression.
Worse, the property I was in was extremely difficult to find. There is no sign marking it and even going through the directions repeatedly didn't make it clear WHICH property it was. I thought it might be my own exhaustion, but the next day a local service was trying to find the property using the same directions and they couldn't find it either. Just a sign. That would be all it took. But with a little extra effort, you could also drop a pin on Google Maps - because no one except you thinks of the property as a single property rather than two separate ones.
Finally, internet passwords. This is what yours looks like: zy3dmhmsrt4pyunv. How about: WelcometoMakers! or Weloverecycledwood. Or really anything that made me feel welcomed rather than irritated as I connected my devices for the stay.
- Angelina (9/5): Beautiful cottage with lovely surroundings, quiet and tranquil. - The sun room to watch the wildlife The other small cottage was too close to the film makers cottage, and although for the first 2 night it was unoccupied. Our final 2 nights someone had booked it and it felt like our privacy was compromised and we didn’t feel like hanging out on the garden or sunroom was appropriate
- Sandra (10/5): Gorgeous place! - it's just the right size for 2 people and really cosy.
Only a short drive to town. The bed was super comfy and although it got cold at night, the heater near the bed warmed up the sleep area beautifully. A nicer outdoor seating area would be nice. We had a sunny day but couldn't sit outside anywhere.
- Sandra (9/5): A piece of serenity in Warburton - Key safe was easy to find. The house has a lovely feel to it. Decorated with style. Loved the sunroom with the sun shining in - great place for a relaxing read. Beautiful spot not too far from the shops. Lots to do in the local area - great coffee and good eats (and shopping) Lovely fireplace and a few heat banks to ensure you didn’t get cold. Nothing that I would worry about
- Amanda (9/5): We had a fawonderful stay! The cottage was warm and cosy with the fire and beautifully decorated! -
- Ashley (7/5): Good -
- Lewis (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (8/5): Relaxing stay with easy travel to great cafes and walking trails. - The fire place and loungeroom area. Great tv with all the streaming services. Once the fire got fired up...... unreal! The shower unfortunately. Not one for baths unfortunately. Tried to have a shower but the shower head nozzle didn't tighten properly. Water just goes everywhere on the floor.
- Liam (9/5): Superb -
- Ryan (9/5): Superb -
- Briggs (10/5): Such a relaxing place to stay! Thanks for having us. 😊 - Such a beautiful place! Most comfortable bed and loved the fireplace.
- Jeremy (8/5): Nice, warm and well equipped cottage - Character and styling. Great facilities , kitchen and condiments etc The cold room leading into the toilet. Also hot water went off on Thursday afternoon and didn’t return until Friday , not a big deal but maybe some heating or blinds in the back room??
- Hannah (10/5): Would go back again - Attention to detail. Tasteful decor. Comfortable. Nice teas. Nil
- Steve (9/5): A fabulous little gem for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay; perfect in every way, thank you - Spotlessly clean, beautiful linen and decor, and very close to Main Street. Very well appointed kitchen, luxurious eco friendly toiletries and dish soap, additional blankets plus wall heater, very comfortable little lounge, and a big plus of plenty of hot water and excellent shower pressure! Nothing!
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - Very cosy, comfortable and everything at our fingertips There was nothing we didn't like
- Ryan (8/5): Warburton getaway - Cozy studio perfect for a getaway in beautiful Warburton.
Had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
Hosts were great with communication. Would stay again.
- Adam (8/5): A wonderful little house, stylishly decorated and thoughtfully equipped. - The location was quite good. The only thing I felt unsure about was how private it was as we were looking over the neighbours yard. Didn't have any issues though. I didn't get any comms back when I replied to the email. I suspect the vendors didn't get the queries I had emailed. We couldn't find instructions initially regarding how to get a key. Some fresh milk would have been helpful.
- Kathy (9/5): Superb - Everything! Exceptional quality, comfort and thought, throughout. The most amazing comfy bed! Nothing
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful spot and a beautiful little space Noisy cars driving up the road at night
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - Well equipped remade garage Not as pinctured above ..no door mat or cover so if it's raining you walk straight into one tiny room..poor wifi that didn't connect with TV.. was just out of hospital and was wanting to re l ax and watch some tennis
- Stav (10/5): Such a nice night away at the cottage! It had everything we needed for a night in Warburton! - Location was great and the cottage had everything you would need for a little getaway! It was clean and spacy and inviting. Nothing at all, it was all great!
- Jacqui (9/5): Superb - Gorgeous space and great location! Could have had slightly clearer instructions on accessing the property. Got a bit confused with the other cottage etc. but otherwise great!
