Guest Reviews
- Joe (10/5): Perfect little cottage - A lovely cosy old fashioned (in a good way) cottage, with everything you might need and a very friendly host. 6 of us stayed 2 nights for a wedding nearby and had a nice time on Fri evening in the pub and walking around the neighbourhood. It would have been lovely to have been allowed a slightly later check out so we could have an hour or two's more shut eye after the wedding 😉
- White (10/5): Simply the best -

- Carla (7/5): Step back in time in this quirky cottage. - Great location, especially if you like trains. There are many antiques at the property, which is not great if you have children.

- Paul (10/5): Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable. Had everything you would need -

- Geetika Singh (10/5): Lovely and Spacious cottage for a family . Location is superb . Highly recommended - Lovely cottage and great host. Location was superb with local amenities and tourist attractions near by . Cottage was very spacious for a family with kids.
- Claire (8/5): - Great location, comfortable cottage with everything we needed for a great holiday in Dorset
- Lucy (7/5): - Lovely, cosy cottage. Great value for money All the signs and instructions felt a bit much.
- Raimo (8/5): Interesting "lime" on museum stay experience near Jurassic coast - It is like small museum, every detail tells story. Place gives real Dorset. ountry side living feeling and experience. Well equiped kichen and nice small patio to have breakfast outdoor. Owner Matt is very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms are nice and beds and blankets, pillows and sheets good quality. Haf really good sleep despite side active railway. Free parking just in front of main door. Strange habbit to cover every usable working top in kichen with unsanitar material and metal grid not easy to clean and gives durty feeling overhaul. Tiny bathrooms and our bathroom ventilation worked very loudly so in night time we did not wanted to use ligt not to disturb others. Also a lot of annoining rule signes like You are not welcome and trusted. Don't like at all this kind of rule based management. Train might me annoining as well but trains workinghours end for nighttime so it was not that big issue. Owner lives just behind the place and basically have great overview of the use, not very privat place, also neighbours on both sides of place.
- Tetyana (10/5): Perfect stay — everything we needed, great quality, and a wonderfully welcoming host. - We had an excellent stay! Everything was exactly as we needed — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The quality of the accommodation exceeded our expectations, and the location was perfect. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again! N/A
- Stephen (10/5): - The cottage itself is lovely with all the old fashion cook wear my grandma use to use it's lovely would recommend
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Tsimafei (9/5): Superb -
- Lesley (9/5): We wanted a place to explore the Jurassic Coast and this was ideal - Very well stocked. It had everything we needed We couldn’t use the BBQ.
- Sarah (9/5): Lovely little cottage with everything you need. - The cottage was clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful area. The kitchen had everything you needed and more! Each bedroom has its own en suite which was very handy. It's right next to a train track, so it can be noisy when the trains go past, especially at 6 am. Would also be nice if check out time could be extended.
- Valerie (8/5): Good, comfortable stay. - No breakfast. Location was good apart from a railway line next door. However trains which were frequent went through fairly quickly, fortunately stopped at night. The outside front of house needed tidying up, climbing plants at front of house were overgrown making it dark inside.
- Mwa (9/5): Superb - Great location for our weekend at Lulworth castle No ironing board
- Dave (9/5): Superb -
- Jenny (10/5): Lovely cosy cottage. - Beautiful traditional cottage which is very thoughtfully kitted out. Nothing.
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (8/5): Lovely cottage to visit the Jurassic Coast - Very well located to visit the Jurassic Coast. Cosy cottage, the host, Matt, was really friendly and helpful. He also gave us a welcome present which was nice. Very calm and nice area. The rooms were confortable and the house very clean and tidy with everything you need. The fact that you need to put your pillows and sheets in bags and take to the laundry room. This is something the cleaner can easily do.
- Paul (9/5): Excellent - The cottage was lovely, rooms were spacious and facilities was everything you would expect for self catering. We used it as a base for days out and found it very relaxing in the evenings.
- Bram (10/5): Exceptional - Very gentle hosts. An accommodation with all comfort.
- Clive (8/5): Enjoyable, comfortable and located perfectly - Location was perfect. The cottage is quaint and suitably decorated. It has everything you need for a self-catering rental. Loved our stay and would definitely re-book this rental again Some things in the kitchen could have been a little cleaner. The oven door felt greasy and around the sink wasn't cleaned very well. The kitchen floor felt sticky and the outside of the fridge needed a wipe. It didn't ruin our stay though.
- Katie (10/5): Matt is a lovely attentive host, we had everything we needed. A great little find, location great. - Lovely facilities, we had everything we needed. Less rain for hiking but that can't be helped lol.
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful little cottage with everything we needed, a real home from home atmosphere
- Vivek (9/5): Superb -
- Chandni (8/5): Bank Holiday Stay in Wool - We loved the cottage overall as it really was quite charming. The location for us was great as we visited the area for Durdle Door and although I initially thought Wareham would be better for us I am really glad I found this lovely place. It was peaceful overall although the occasional train got us in the morning but it passed quickly. We had enough space although the 2 bathrooms upstairs were quite tiny for grown adults. The kitchen was well equipped so if we stayed longer we'd have enjoyed cooking more. Overall, we loved it and Matt was great in sorting out the heaters although they seemed to go off again. There were a couple of things that we weren't fond of:
1) the bathrooms upstairs were really quite small and difficult for older individuals.
2) rules about taking off sheets and pillow cases (we understand why you require it but it's not something we'd want to do again as cleaners can do it quickly too)
3) having to throw out bins (yes we separated everything but again cleaners can do this too)
4) check in is quite late and check out early so we're losing time and paying for more than we need to
We still loved it but this is honest. I think if I visited with friends they'd probably not care but for family and older members it was a lot of work for 2 days stay only
- Nicola (10/5): Great cottage in lovely location - Very cosy cottage, everything you could possibly need! Beds were comfortable, good showers, convenient location and lovely local pubs for food. Nothing - would definitely stay again.
- Kevin (9/5): A very pleasant home from home style cottage. Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. - Loved the space and the fact that each bedroom had it's own shower/toilet. Children were so excited when we arrived and they discovered the space they had and how many beds there were. Such a shame our stay was so short (only 2 nights).
- Showkat (9/5): It was a comfortable and cosy accommodation with well- equipped kitchen and a friendly host -
