- Swati (10/5): -
- Kevin Atkinson (10/5): - Beautiful house and very comfortable furnishings.
- Lorraine (8/5): Good value for money in a lovely area off the beaten track - Nice layout and comfortable beds. Well stocked with kitchen utensils etc. Further off the beaten track than expected but only an issue for arriving in the dark.
The ambient temp was cooler than preferred so had to use logs.
- Aidan (7/5): Lovely stay, just a shame about the cold showers! - Lovely location and nice spacious house Hot water was very temperamental, kept running out and not heating up again. had to have cold showers on occasion!
- Kathleen (10/5): -
- Rosa (6/5): Podría estar mejor - La casa grande en condiciones La limpieza podía ser mejor muchas telarañas, la asistencia regular no había manera de poner la calefacción y al teléfono no resolvían nada
- Islay (10/5): - True cottage experience, beautiful scenery to watch from the coziest house! It felt so homey as soon as we stepped in, the staff was so clear with directions on how to get to the house and the property was truly in a breathtaking location!
- Elizabeth (8/5): A super little house in a beautifu, quiet location - entirely recommended - Great living space, comfy, well equipped, lovely location. Pillows were galactic size rocks
- Louise (9/5): Lovely secluded cottage.perfect stay for 6 adults who were visiting local area - Good layout. Comfortable beds and sitting room furniture. Nothing to dislike.
- Sonata (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious, well equipped
- Jackie (9/5): Comfortable peaceful stay in beautiful countryside - Well equipped comfortable, beautiful surroundings A little isolated - bit of a drive to both Spean bridge and Fort William
- Sian (10/5): Hidden gem in a fabulous location - Spacious property set in a lovely and quiet setting.
The kitchen equipped with modern appliances and a washing machine and tumble dryer in the laundry area for use was fabulous. Loved that there was a pint of milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and biscuits provided! - very much appreciated on our arrival.

- Heather (10/5): THE LORD OF THE RINGS RIVENDELL HOUSE REVIEW, - It was giving me lord of the rings vibes, location, setting. scottish highlands autum colours with river is priceless. The highland coos on the road from fort william, priceless. nearby farm too with sheep. Riding stables nearby worth the look at the horses.Open plan house well equipped for everything you need for a secluded getaway on scotland.Nestled deep in woods you dont want to leave. To left to Spean Bridge more coos, black kinds, and watch out for deer jumping out on road from fort william, its very dark in autum after 6pm on road to rivendell house, watch your speed for cows, deer, sheep... bats flying into windscreen of car too ha ha. Highly recommend this house. Just add a huge soup pot in kitchen for making pasta and everything is there, oh the key provided was main door only, couldnt use it to open boot room door into utility, house. doors need accessible grab rails. must come again. very warm cozy house, clean very open plan too.and space is abundant. Only issue was , we needed accessible entry and support in bathroom. we brought our own suction grab handles as the bath was too high to climb into. Front and back of house could be doing with a ramp for accessibility. but overall pricekess house.
- Eleanor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (8/5): Great quiet location with relaxing clean and tidy accommodation. - Clean and tidy accommodation and modern appliances. Log burner was a great feature. Nothing.
- Kennett (9/5): Superb - Rivendell was clean and tidy. Everything we could ever imagine needing whilst away from home was provided, including a welcome pint of milk and a plentiful supply of tea and coffee when we arrived. The utility room was an added bonus for boots and dogs. The location was amazing, listening to the rush of the burn was very relaxing.
We were a little concerned that the Rivendell Bothen would impact us and vice versa but we shouldn't have worried. We didn't hear a peep from them and both properties were very much separate.
We had a lovely short stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again if we are in the area.
Communication with the owner was excellent.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Valerie (9/5): Superb - Quiet location. Lot of space in the house. The curtains could be of better quality, allowing less light in the sleeping room. There was no large cooking pot (impossible to cook pasta)
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (7/5): Good - House was warm and clean and ideal for our visit to Nevis Range/World Cup Mountain Biking.
Beds comfortable, nice shower (over bath) and good to have private parking. It was expensive for 3 days.
The heating system was very hard to understand and the instruction manual did not help - we got the heating on but no idea how we did it!
Lounge area was not very relaxing just felt like two large sofas had been put in with no thought to layout. Couldn't possibly site on them and watch the TV, wall mounted behind a door.
