• curtis (8/5): Great location and good value for money. - Great location. Interesting old building with high ceilings and atrium in the middle. Well equipped kitchen including appliances and utensils, Efficient wet rooms. There were no windows as such and nowhere to sit outside. Atrium didn’t work as somewhere to sit and when it rained, the dripping made loud drops which woke us up. Presumably not a problem for the majority of the year

• Cepta (10/5): Stunning apartment in a spectacular location, Birgu is heaven on earth! - The location was spectacular. Some people might prefer to be nearer to the main buzz on Valetta or Sliema but we adored being in such a stunning setting in the old town of Birgu. It was so beautiful, so quaint, so full of character & still had loads of gorgeous restaurants & cafes & loads of atmosphere & tranquil buzz. It's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. We loved it & already cannot wait to return! There was no natural light really into the apartment. Not a big deal but if you were staying for longer than 3 or 4 days it might be.
• Delphine (3/5): - Sur les photos l'appartement semble très lumineux car la porte d'entrée est ouverte, mais en réalité dès que vous fermez la porte d'entrée vous êtes dans un appartement sans aucune lumière extérieure, aucune fenêtre qui donne sur dehors (hormis un patio sans intérêt) La salle de bain est remplit de moisissure, il y a un vrai problème d'humidité dans l'appartement. La literie n'était pas très confortable et la propreté est à revoir. Equipement de cuisine de base et pas très propre. Pour 200€ la nuit en base saison, le logement est très décevant. Nous avions réservé pour 2 nuits mais nous avons quitter le logement après une seule nuit. Nous avons fait part de notre déception aux propriétaires mais aucune proposition de remboursement n'a été proposée. En résumé, le prix ne vaut absolument pas l'appartement :(
• Andrew (10/5): Lovely harbour view - Superb apartment for two couples. Lovely open living area, beautiful views to front over harbour, brilliant secluded, quiet location but very easy walk into Birgu centre which is the loveliest place on Malta to stay. Rooms very comfortable. Well equipped and clean throughout. Bed mattress slightly too soft for us ( but this is personal preference) didn't detract from a great stay

• Anna (9/5): Pobyt super!!!! - Lokalizacja super , widoki ładne ciekawe miejsce drzwi jako jedyne okno na świat, patio cos nie spotykanego, rozkład pomieszczeń fajny , dwie duże sypialnie z łazienkami w każdej prysznic a w jednej z nich dodatkowo wanna, wyposażenie kuchni rewelacja. Być w takim mieszkaniu to na pewno ciekawe doświadczenie. Mieszkanie spokojnie dla 4 osób. Jedynym minusem zapach stęchlizny ale uważam ze to coś naturalnego w takich kamienicach, można się przyzwyczaić. Można by było naprawić wannę by korzystać z kąpieli .

• Lee (8/5): On the whole a great place to stay. Good value for money. - Nice property, nice area. No coffee maker as listed. No balcony as implied.
• Nikolaos (1/5): Avoid: Poor maintenance, mold, and cleanliness issues - The property is blatantly poorly maintained, which significantly affects the quality of the stay. First, the apartment is very dark with almost no natural light. Second, the humidity levels are extremely high, exceeding 90%, far beyond the acceptable range of 30-50%, which can pose health risks. This can be easily verified by turning on a humidifier. Third, there is a noticeable moldy odor, and mold stains are visible on the apartment’s walls. Fourth, the outdoor patio with a table is actually a small, enclosed shaft with a strong moldy odor, making it practically unusable. Additionally most of the kitchen utensils and appliances were not clean enough to be used. Mold is also present on various pieces of furniture in every room, including indoor chairs and tables. Also, a broken lamp was left unfixed, with the landlords failing to address it before my arrival. Dead, smashed bugs were also found on the bedsheets. Overall, this stay was deeply disappointing, with poor maintenance, excessive humidity, mold growth, unclean kitchen items, and unresolved repairs, all of which potentially pose a health risk.
• Ravi (10/5): Exceptional - Great location overlooking the harbour. Away from the noise, tourists and kebab shops of St Paul’s. Some of the infrastructure needs to be refreshed
• Anthony (7/5): Ideal location and spacious - The location is very good and the view from the door is amazing. Very well stocked kitchen and spacious throughout. Unfortunately the only natural light comes from the main door. The other light sources is from a small inner courtyard. The inner courtyard is not really practical to access due to mosquitoes but is the only outdoor space available. Although the property is clean, it could do with dusting and airing as there is a musty feel throughout.
• Rachel (10/5): A luxurious and peaceful stay in Birgu - We loved the whole place, every need was met and it really does feel very luxurious to stay there. The area is quiet, in one of the old cities, Birgu, but it's a 5 minute walk to the harbour and from there you can walk to the ferry to Valletta easily. The view from the front porch is as good as the pictures, overlooking the quieter side of the harbour. The staff were quick to respond to messages and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a great experience!! Groceries aren't easily accessible from the location (but bolt eats is available).
