- Alan (10/5): Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful seaside town. - The Lodge is just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Clonakilty, yet is set in a very private location with its own driveway and grounds. The property is huge, with a well equipped kitchen and utility room, dining room, reception room and 4 bedrooms. The hosts left a welcome pack including milk in the fridge which made our stay even easier and more enjoyable. During our stay we also enjoyed the excellent entertainment at de Barras folk club on Pearse Street, and visited the beautiful beach at Inchydoney. Nothing not to like!
- Avril (9/5): Large house, great for a group, friendly and helpful hosts - helpful and responsive hosts. Left a lovely package of snacks and breakfast foods for us, including bread milk wine and tea and coffee. Host called in to check all was well and arranged extra bedding for us at short notice. Lovely garden and we could enjoy the autumn colours of the leaves from most of the rooms. Very large Dining/Kitchen area and we hung out there a lot. Lots of useful kit like ironing board etc which was good as we were attending a wedding and wanted to look our best. all good., We arrived oi a dark wet raining evening and used our phone torch to get into the key safe.

It absolutely exceeded our expectations, beautifully decorated, so comfortable and so much space indoors and out. The welcome basket was a lovely touch also :) This property also came out better value for money than other smaller properties in the area. Nothing

An absolutely beautiful spacious property set in a large mature garden with a huge variety of different trees, shrubs and flowers with plenty of outdoor seating areas. The whole property is very tastefully decorated with some beautiful period furniture and features. Johnnie and Denise had left us the most comprehensive "welcome pack" that we have ever seen. Unfortunately were only staying for one night, as we could have quite happily spent an entire month there. We would highly recommend staying at this property and sincerely hope we get an opportunity to return ourselves. Absolutely Nothing.

We felt right at home the moment we arrived; it's incredibly cozy with lovely decor that perfectly blends rustic charm with every modern comfort. Every detail is thoughtfully designed for comfort, from the super comfy beds and fully equipped kitchen to the perfect living room for relaxing. The house provide the tranquility and peace needed to truly disconnect and recharge. We cannot recommend this house enough for an authentic and memorable experience in Ireland, and we sincerely hope to return very soon! We couldn't find the place due to workroads, although the owner helped us

It was equipped with everything we could need and the hosts had left out some lovely treats. It was great to have washing powder and dishwasher tabs if needed. The location was great with only a 5 min stroll to town for pubs, restaurants and shops. It was all good.

- Nicola (9/5): The property is within easy walking distance of Clonakilty town, making it an excellent base.Also, it is not far to the - It is spacious, clean, well furnished and comfortable. The property is well hidden from the main road and is quite private. The property is surrounded a spacious garden, which would be excellent for children to run around in. Nothing. My only comment by way of making an improvement is that perhaps some attention could be paid to the garden, such as pruning shrubs and tidying up dead foliage. This would then make the garden a pleasure to be in.

Excellent location, rooms sizes and facilities perfect and extremely clean. Bonus was having a food / drink hamper on arrival which was a lovely touch. 100% will be stopping here again when we next visit. Minor but shower could have been more powerful
