• Linda (9/5): bedankt dat wij mogen bij jullie overnachten. - De eigenaar is heel erg flexibel, vriendelijke en behulpzame. Wij kwamen aan om 5 uur in de ochtend op het eiland, wij mogen inchecken. Dit helpt ons enorm. want het zelfde ochtend ging wij met de boot tour door het eiland. Volgende dag onze boot gaat pas vertrekken in de avond. Van de eigenaar mochten wij gewoon de hele dag blijven ❤️ Kwa kamer is basics, wel schoon en ergo doet heel goed. Ontbijt ben ik zelf niet zo met ontbijt. De eigenaar is wel bereid om iets te maken zo als het wens. kwa locatie, van haven naar het verblijf is loopt afstand. restaurant en bolivart is in de buurt. vriendelijke en behulpzame! schone en Ergo doet het goed.

• Hakiksan (10/5): - Les gérants du homestay sont hyper gentille et serviable!! Très bien situé, ils sont très flexibles avec les horaires! Le gérant est venu me chercher a 2h du matin sans que je demande alors que ma réservation commence1 jour après. Je me suis senti vraiment chez moi. Des personnes exceptionnelles!! Je conseille a 100% si vous aimez la nature dans cette île où tout le monde est accueillant et souriant

• Noa (7/5): - El personal era muy amable , y la ubicación estaba bien cerca del puerto . Nos ayudaron en todo lo posible Anita y su marido son una familia maravillosa . La limpieza era bastante básica o inexistente . El baño estaba bastante dejado y poco limpio , y las instalaciones igual , había ropa suya tirada por el hostel y la zona de desayuno o comida estaba muy descuidada . La ducha no tenía ni espejo y poca luz , habían bastantes arañas en la habitación .
• Iris (9/5): Super Preis/Leistungsverhälntnis u familiäre Atmosphäre - Durch Ronell u Anita hat es sich angefühlt wie ein Zuhause. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte einen indonesischen Standard mit kleinem Bad. Die AC konnte gut reguliert werden u war leise. Frühstück wurde immer wieder neu gemacht. Dauerhaft Zugang zu Wasser, Kaffee und Tee. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Beide helfen bei allem wo sie können. Dominic (Guide) und die Tauchschule Limangu sind super für Ausflüge u tauchen. Unbedingt die Tarsier Tour machen u Mahoro Island besuchen. Die gesamte Insel ist so toll, überall wird man herzlich begrüßt und willkommen geheißen. Ich habe meine Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Essen am besten im Beach Cafe in der Nähe vom Hafen. Direkt nebenan gibt es kühles Bier u Getränke Teilweise sehr laut mit der Straße, falls man eine leichten Schlaf hat sollte man Ohropax mitnehmen.
• Witali (10/5): Very nice and affordable homestay with highly competitive price-value ratio - The Karatu Homestay is a simple yet outstanding accommodation option in Siau, offering excellent value for money. The rooms are clean and equipped with a traditional Indonesian shower/toilet combination, as well as air conditioning, which is highly appreciated. Breakfast is included and, considering the price, more than satisfactory. Mosquito nets are provided, though mosquitoes are generally rare in the area. Guests can also enjoy a common lounge area with a balcony, where one can relax, watch TV, or play the guitar. The Wi-Fi connection worked flawlessly throughout my stay. The location is ideal—only a 10-minute walk from the ferry harbor. Shops are located right next to the homestay, and supermarkets are also within a 10-minute walk. The homestay and its guide, Dominic, can arrange scooter rentals (100k per day) and organize various tours, including excursions to the volcano, wildlife trips, and snorkeling adventures. I highly recommend this homestay, especially given its exceptional price-to-quality ratio.
• Tara (9/5): - De goede service en vriendelijke eigenaar. Hij stond altijd voor ons klaar, maakte heerlijk ontbijt en bracht ons naar de ferry. Ook regelde hij het contact met onze gids Dominik. Dominik is ook super vriendelijk en was tijdens ons verblijf op het eiland altijd bereikbaar voor ons. Niks. Het is een basic kamer maar daar boek je het ook voor. Er is verder schoon en er is een prima airco. Het ligt wel aan een straat met verkeer maar met oordoppen in kan je prima slapen.
• RaulBM (8/5): Buen sitio - Rolan y Anita (los dueños) te ayudarán en todo y son muy majos, también nos alquilaron una moto lo que hizo la estancia más fácil. Rolan nos vino a recoger y a llevar al muelle para coger el barco sin sobrecoste.
• Lars (8/5): Tolles Homestay mit sehr freundlichen Gastgebern :) - Die Zimmer waren völlig in Ordnung! Es war sauber und gemütlich :) Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber verlief super und problemlos. Der Guide Domenik ist extrem freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit :) Wir haben mehrere Touren mit ihm gebucht und es war jedes Mal richtig cool und kostengünstig! Klare Empfehlung :) Würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
• Mihailescu (10/5): Exceptional - The location is right in the center, very close to shops and the port. Nearby there is a restaurant where you can serve dishes, and the prices are not high. I had a breakfast included and the lady tried her best to please me and bought tomatoes and fruit for us specially. The owner picked us up and took us back to the port for free. They came even at 2 in the morning to pick us up from the port. We liked the owners very much. They recommended us a guide with whom we did several tours on the island. The shower did not have hot water, and the bathroom did not have a sink.The internet worked very well. Camera avea si aer conditionat
• Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - We had a fantastic time at Siau in the Karatu homestay. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and the island is such a beautiful and diverse place. Snorkling/diving, active volcano watching and very friendly people. Dominic is a fantastic guide who can help you with organising your tours, renting a scooter, snorkeling gear and lots of tips. Great experience!
• Tara (7/5): Good - Friendly host, brought nice breakfast of omelette and yellow spiced rice, very basic facilities but the air con was appreciated and it was cheap. Terrace was useful for drying clothes we needed to wash too! Bucket flush toilet, wasn’t super clean, but they were so sweet to us it didn’t really matter.
• Sanna (9/5): A very nice English speaking home stay - Private room with good airconditioning . Also a modest own toilet and shower. 5 rooms available in total. I felt very safe at the homestay ( female - travelling alone) Located next to the main road, short walk to a few restaurants and sea ( you can snorkle right from the shore). Breakfast was very good including local specialties and Anita was always asking what We’d like to gave. Also she was in contact well advance with travel advice and arranged a guide for me. A very nice family - i can recommend the stay. A bit of noice from the street on Saturday evening. The room did not have a window - but the livingroom had a balcony, so not really a problem as the room was only for a rest and sleep.
