Guest Reviews
- Otto (8/5): Nice place to stay! - The apartment were beautiful and had all the necessities! Beds were good and comfortable, kitchen were perfect for cooking. The internet doesn’t work in the apartment, which was a bummer. It works though next to the door, but not in the living room, bedroom, etc..
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (1/5): I CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH TO STAY VERY CLEAR FROM THIS SQUAT. THE HOST IS A RUTHLESS CON MAN - Nothing at all - this squat is a death trap. Took my son and wife here for his first birthday. The child developed a bad cough and both of us got sick. I got admitted to hospital by ambulance outside the apartment due to heatstroke. There is no ventilation in the apartment, and the aircon doesn’t work leading to all of us including our baby covered in heat rash. There is one power socket that works which needs to be alternated to use the one small fan. We had to sleep with the doors open onto the street the entire night for air. People passing by could see into the room all night, and the baker directly opposite the apartment who starts at 4 A.M everyday woke us from any sleep we managed to get, which wasn’t much. I’m still haunted by the damp smell of the room which develops into intense notes of urine as you approach the bathroom. A few bullets:
1. The aircon doesn’t work
2. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work
3. The overhead shower doesn’t work
4. No hot water
5. Only one power socket worked
6. Non existent ventilation
7. Apartment wasn’t ready on time
8. Apartment dirty on arrival
9. One of the bed pillows had a cigarette burn through it
10. Double bed unusable due to high risk of injury from lack of railings on raised surface
11. No batteries in any of the remotes
12. Basic utensils like a cork screw not provided
13. Fittings fell off upon slight use like door handles and shower bar
Further:
This host is a man with no conscience. It is immoral knowing there was infant occupancy given all the above, let alone unfair to any guest. In raising these complaints (which I could see given the state of the squat wasn’t going to go far) he showed absolutely no remorse for his premeditated, trialed and repeated moral misdoings which he has inflicted on mine and other families by the most extreme false advertising I’ve ever experienced. He has all the lines in the world ready for disposal as excuses, I suppose he sees this as part of his day job. He even got philosophical at one point. Just reading the most recent negative reviews prior to mine which only appeared in the last month there’s clearly some manipulation going on here either by way of changing the name of the apartment and relisting, or posting fake reviews. I’ve never been happier to be home, although I’m furious at the vast sum of money effectively stolen, and our limited free time lost in ruin.
