• Victor (10/5): Disfrutamos - La confianza que nos brindaron, no conocimos a los dueños, pero nos dieron todas las comodidades y hasta ir a la piscina de agua termales en la finca sin costo, nos fueron a traer con caballos y por un costo especial, muy agradecidos por todo y lógicamente volveremos Todo bien

• Angelika (9/5): - Etwas außerhalb von Santa Elena mit Ausblick über die Hügel von Monteverde (traumhafter Sonnenuntergang von der Dachterasse aus). Morgens sieht man von der Dachterasse aus einige Vögel. Die Gastgeberin bringt morgen gutes, selbstgemachtes Frühstück - das ist super, da man doch etwas abgelegen wohnt. Die Zimmer sind sauber (an ein paar Spinnen und Käfer muss man sich in Costa Rica eh gewöhnen) und die Küche gut ausgestattet, kein Ofen aber eine Mikrowelle. Ein Schild an der Einfahrt wäre nett. Man muss einer kurzen steilen Einfahrt folgend, die links hinter einer Kurve abgeht, aber ohne Beschilderung ist es schwer zu erkennen, ob man richtig ist. Das Ausfahren aus der Einfahrt ist ebenfalls etwas kompliziert, da man rückwerts auf die Straße ranchieren muss.
• Jürg (3/5): Ich habe mich sehr genervt. - Das Appartement war sehr schwierig zu finden. Den richtigen Standort hatten wir mit dem Navi beim ersten Mal, aber wo ist die Unterkunft? Die Telefonnummer ist ungültig (sehr professionell). Dank Hilfe der Nachbarin haben wir die Besitzerin erreicht. Die Eigentümerin und das Personal sprechen kein Englisch. Sie akzeptierten keine Kreditkarten. (Katastrophe) Gemäss Booking sollte ein Pool vorhanden sein. (Witz komm raus)
• karen (8/5): - Exelente la atención del personal. Muy buen desayuno . Terraza con vistas al bosque para disfrutar por la mañana ( a la tarde da el sol directo y no se puede aprovechar ) No tenia ventilator en zona de cocina comedor

• Sánchez Pérez (1/5): - No pudimos alojarnos en la casa. Una vez confirmada la reserva y ya en Monteverde, nos avisó que había ocurrido un inconveniente y no podíamos quedarnos en su casa... Sinceramente no lo recomendamos por la falta de anticipación, las dificultades que encontramos luego para encontrar otro alojamiento y la nula comunicación con el propietario No pudimos alojarnos en la casa. Una vez confirmada la reserva y ya en Monteverde, nos avisó que había ocurrido un inconveniente y no podíamos quedarnos en su casa... Sinceramente no lo recomendamos por la falta de anticipación, las dificultades que encontramos luego para encontrar otro alojamiento y la nula comunicación con el propietario

• Amy (8/5): Clean, simple and great value for the price! - It was a very clean and simple place, nothing fancy, but a great value for the price. We spent three nights there and were quite comfortable. The views were amazing and they have a little communal upper deck that would be a nice hangout (we didn't have time). We had a vehicle so this wasn't a problem for us, but take note that this property is not walkable to Santa Elena. if you are driving a vehicle, the driveway is VERY steep and kind of scary to pull out of onto a highway (blind curves in both directions) but that's just how the terrain is in that part of the world. If you took a taxi or got a ride and got dropped off, you would have to lug your luggage up the steep hill.
• Ronny (7/5): Gute Unterkunft für einen kleinen Stop - Die Terrasse und der Pool im Wald haben die Unterkunft aufgewertet. Die Lage ist für einen Besuch in monteverde sehr gut. Das Frühstück war auch in Ordnung Die Kommunikation ist zum größten Teil schwierig da kaum Englisch gesprochen wird und die Abrechnung nicht 100% nach dem aktuellen Kurs vorgenommen wird.

• Gordon (8/5): Good place to stay. - Good place to stay. Our plans changed and we had to shorten our stay and the host provided a discount even though they didn’t have to as per their cancellation policy. This was appreciated. Nothing fancy.
• shlomit (9/5): A great stay in Monteverde. - The two room unit was spacious and very comfortable ( for a short stay ). The location is near everything , and irrespective of the near road -quit. The hostess brought us delicious breakfasts . The property was difficult to locate at first . The name is not advertised on it and because to reach it one needs to make a sharp turn , it was unclear. The property has two rooms, but a single parking space. When both rooms are occupied, one car needs to park on the side of the road. This is not a bad spot, but requires a minute walk. When one has heavy suitcases …. The hostess needs to communicate better in English. Because we are not fluent in Spanish, our communication was restricted mainly to internet messages.
• Rolando (8/5): - La vista excepcional. El acceso al parqueo demasiado incómodo y la salida, por las maniobras que se deben realizar, muy peligrosa en particular por la noche por ausencia de ilumimación.
• VARGAS (7/5): - La vista, se podría mirar el golfo de Nicoya y Puntarenas. Bien equipada. Confortable Fuerte olor a polvo/ humedad en la casa. No había un rótulo guía para encontrar el lugar. Tenía una hermosa terraza pero no contaba con iluminación. Lástima que no se brindó el desayuno a pesar que se indicaba en la información que se podía optar con un montón adicional.

• Derek (7/5): - It was a bite hard to find since it is a house and no signage that you are at the right one. It was a not easy to locate the staff once you arrived. The house had great views and wonderful outdoor seating. The staff asked when we wanted breakfast we said 8 since we had morning plans. Breakfast came after 9am with no responses from our text. It actually came as we we were loading in the car car to leave. Having breakfast provided was one of the reasons we chose this location. The hot spring they show in the picture we got very vague info on how to get there. On staff member said we need a horse the other said it was a 2 km walk each direction not starting at the house location. So we never made it there.

• Dave (9/5): Great value with incredible views. - Incredible views from the seating area. Well stocked little kitchen. A little way down the road from Santa Elena which suited us. The walk down to the natural pool via the adjoining finch was unforgettable. Lovely staff. Slightly close to the road but traffic noise didn't bother us and finished early.

• Marleen (8/5): Very good - The house has an amazing view towards the Pacific and the peninsula. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cutlery , crockery etc There is also a higher sun terrace with seating. It is an easy drive to St Elena. Two spacious bedrooms with comfy beds. Getting out of the drive is a little tricky as you can't turn at the top. It is possible to wriggle around at the bottom and luckily the road is not too busy.

• Lyn (9/5): Edge of paradise - Balcony area above carport, comfortable beds, outside area around house, glorious views. Great support with minor issues, such as kettle not working. No place to store or hang clothing, more hangers would be great. Not enough room in bedroom for large suitcase, just minor things really.
• Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Property was great, stand alone apartment. Quick trip to Santa Elena, but not in highly trafficked area. Beautiful mountain views. Very clean and efficient.
