• Kathleen (9/5): Definitely the place to stay with all the comforts of home. - This was a real home away from home. I was greeted by a home baked cake on the kitchen bench with coffee cups layed out ready for afternoon tea. There was also an amazing supply of goodies in the fridge! The home was modern looking, clean and so comfortable with a sitting area AND lounge area, both with comfy reclining lounges. The beds were comfy and towels soft and fluffy. In 46 degrees heat, that pool was welcome relief! Lynne and Colin were excellent and responsive hosts. I didn't like that there was only 1 cake! ;-)
• Margie (10/5): just beautiful the owners thought of everything - the owners where lovely the house and everything they put into the house is amazing they thought of the little things from the same cakes, chocolates and lollies to breakfast of bacon and eggs and cereal. the house is amazing with its own pool. we where there for work and had to get nothing. love love love I hope it’s available every time we come the Broken Hill slight snell of dog wee??
• Vasyl (9/5): Superb - The host was very helpful and easy to talk to. There was some fruit, yoghurt, bread and wine waiting for the guys in the fridge as well as some sweets. This was a very pleasant surprise for them :) Pool towels were also provided. Overall, a very pleasant stay. If you gonna go to Broken hill, this is the place where you need to stary at :) nothing

• Lucia (10/5): Superb! - It was all perfect! Lynne made a delicious vanille welcomes cake! The fridge was filled with a delicious breakfast: milk, bacon, eggs, bread, corn flakes, preserves, fruit, etc. and we could find (besides the coffee en tea) all kind of chocolates in the house. The pool was taken care of and everything in the house was clean, neath and the interior had a very good atmosphere. Lynne got in contact with us when there was an electricity breakdown in Broken Hill. She regularly updated us about it. We experienced a very warm hospitality and enjoyed our stay very much! Everything was beyond our expectations! It was all very good! Really nothing to complain about!

• Shelley (10/5): Spotlessly clean. Everything we could have asked for. - The breakfast was amazing! Homemade cake, chocolates and a bottle of wine were a welcome bonus. A very spacious home as well a comfortable. The reclining chairs were so cosy after a day of visiting the sights of Broken Hill and surrounds. It will be hard to beat this property! The only problem was a very noisy heater but we just upped the volume on the TV and all was good.

• Paula (10/5): Very welcoming property offering exceptional value, comfort and location. - The property was stocked with quality ingredients for breakfast plus other extra treats, a home made cake on arrival, wine in fridge, chocolate treats, a selection of teas. The location was convenient to business centre and tourist attractions. Exceptional attentional to detail and the little things. A seal on the toilet paper, smiley faces on eggs, quality shampoo & soaps, accessible to own streaming services. Plenty of cushions, cosy blankets on lounges. The kitchen was well equipped and the property was exceptionally welcoming. I have a mobility issue and I did find the three entry steps quite difficult to manage, a hand rail was present but I couldn’t reach it. A simple handrail on one side is of the steps would have been more helpful.

• Carolynne (10/5): Exceptional and I will return! - This was a work trip - but the additional welcoming extras included for my stay were exceptional and made it feel like a real break! I felt very much at home in a very clean and organised home. The owners went out of their way to make my stay a very enjoyable one. Pool facilities were great, and it was nice to lounge in the sun, although it was a little too cool for me to swim!! I used the dining area to work, and the wifi was good. Great indoor and outdoor areas for relaxing.

The tasteful decor and thoughtful touches made it feel like a true home away from home. Much to my husband's delight, we were greeted by a home-made cake - a simple yet heartwarming gesture that set the tone for our stay. The cottage itself was big enough to host an entire family but was cosy enough for just the two of us. The outdoor pool offered a welcome relief from the soaring temperatures. The cottage is set on the outskirts of town, which means that it is in a quiet location and, with a car, you can get to everywhere easily. To the thoughtful hosts, thank you for creating such a haven. Your attention to detail and the warmth you infused into every corner of the cottage made our stay truly special. We will be recommending you to all our friends. Nothing at all.

Clean, comfortable and safe, - Spacious, comfortable house with a pool, a/c and a pleasant outside sitting area with a view just above the neighbouring properties to the nearby bushland. Safe off-road parking in a quiet residential neighbourhood. And also, a fridge full of goodies and a home made cake waiting to be devoured. Nothing.

The host went to extreme lengths to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible, giving extras we really didn't expect and have not had anywhere else. This makes a HUGE difference to a traveller. It was spotless, comfortable and nice and quiet. Thanks - The house is a home from the moment you enter the front door you feel at home. So neat and tidy. Well presented great facilities Pool needed a clean ? But l understand with the wind in Broken Hill this is difficult.

• Sauden (10/5): Our stay at the Cummins Cottage was absolutely amazing. - Owner of the property took pride in serving their guests. We all felt very well looked after. Freshly baked cake on arrival was delightful. Nothing about the property but I highly recommend to book a rental car, There is no public transportation to and from the airport. You definitely need a car if you are planning to go sightseeing. To get to the cottage takes 30 to 40 minutes walk from the downtown Broken Hill. There is hardly any Taxi and there is one very busy Uber.

Yummy breaky goodies provided. So comfortable, clean, plenty of room, warm, and sooo quiet. Morning cuppa and evening drinks in back verandah we’re so relaxing. There is nothing to fault here, everything is provided.
