• Marleen (9/5): absolute aanrader! - Ons verblijf bij Elysian Retreat was in één woord fantastisch. De rustige ligging is echt een enorme troef: midden tussen de akkers en wijngaarden, met op de achtergrond zicht op de zee. De ideale plek om volledig tot rust te komen en te genieten van de prachtige zonsondergangen van Santorini, weg van de drukte. Wij verbleven in Villa Grace, een smaakvol ingerichte villa met alle comfort. Het bed sliep heerlijk, alles was kraaknet onderhouden en het gigantische terras was absoluut een hoogtepunt: Je kan er gezellig ontspannen in je loungezetels rond de gashaard of genieten van de zonsondergang vanuit je verwarmde privézwembad — pure luxe. Elke ochtend werd een heerlijk à-la-carteontbijt op ons terras geserveerd, wat zorgde voor een extra ontspannen start van de dag. Ook het wellnessmoment was top: we hoefden onze villa niet eens te verlaten, want de massage werd gewoon in onze kamer gegeven. Een bijkomend pluspunt is de parkeermogelijkheid op het domein, wat op Santorini zeker handig is. Daarnaast verdient het personeel een speciale vermelding: receptie, kamermeisje en roomservice waren stuk voor stuk ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook de restauranttip die we kregen om in de buurt te gaan eten was een schot in de roos. Via het verblijf boekten we bovendien een boottocht bij Caldera Yachting, en ook dat was een absolute aanrader. Kortom: een luxueuze, rustige en warme plek waar werkelijk aan alles gedacht wordt. Wij keren met heel mooie herinneringen terug naar huis. Frigo maakte een licht zoemend geluid, een heel5 klein minpuntje voor wie geen vaste slaper is. Tip: Badjassen ter beschikking zou ook fijn zijn.
• myriam (10/5): experience incroyable - We had the most wonderful experience at Elysian Retreat . Eman has been extremely helpful, before our arrival , during our stay and Even after! She recommanded great addresses to us and Even took care of the bookings. We were in Santorini for our honeymoon and we could not have dreamt of anything better. The suite was incredible, we had never had such an experience : 500% clean, beddings really comfortable. The heated swimming pool was definetely a huge plus, especially in May. Breakfast was really good and they took my dietary restrictions very seriously . All in all, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Free parking and calm are also huge bonuses after the agitation of the centre of the village. Thank you again so much Eman for making our stay so special.

• Lauren (10/5): Beautiful!!! - The villas are beautiful and staff are super attentive and friendly. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back. Only thing to note would be the pools are quite cold so if you are going in May, it’s not ideal temperature for a dip.

Unter dem Bett lagen Krümel und Dreck. Selbst nach mehrmaligem Putzen blieben die Haare an der gleichen Stelle auf dem Boden liegen. Schlieren auf mehreren Oberflächen. - Leider wurden an fast allen Tagen stundenlang direkt neben unserer Terrasse Polster und Teppiche gereinigt. Das Prozedere war sehr laut, sodass man sich auf der eigenen Terrasse leider wenig entspannen konnte. Hierfür sollte definitiv ein anderer Ort als unmittelbar neben den Gästen gewählt werden! - sehr lange Wartezeit beim Frühstück

• SEVERINE (10/5): Une retraite paissible à proximité de la belle Oia - Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet établissement proche d’Oia (15 minutes à pied). Situé à l’abri de la foule, bénéficiant une vue exceptionnelle, cet hôtel porte très bien son nom ! La chambre 4 est magnifique, très grande et dispose d’une piscine privative de très bonne taille et d’une très grande terrasse. L’accueil est efficace et discret. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux. De kamer, de super grote douche, elke dag nieuwe koffie cups en water, het grote bed met prachtige lakens. De buitenruimte met royaal ligbed, 2 stoelen en een tafel, een eigen zwembad....... Het uitzicht!

• Maria (10/5): Highly recommend - The accommodation was lovely and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Both private pool and main pool were lovely and clean. Sunset was stunning and so special to watch it in a private setting without crowds. Be prepared that the walk to Oia is not far but is up a steep hill.

• Héber (10/5): Amazing rooms and views - Our bedroom was excellent, amazing views, every room for what I understand has a private pool and then there’s a bigger public pool where you can stay if your checking in or out Restaurant at the Elysian was expensive in comparison to other restaurants in the area… when I say in the area I mean at least 10 min walk to the nearest restaurant
• Charlotte (9/5): Peaceful and relaxing stay near Oia and Finikia! - We had a lovely room with a private pool. The hotel is close to Finikia village which is a very quiet and traditional place with a handful of really good tavernas. The service was good, Eman was friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. The other staff were great, especially the young woman who served breakfast and ran the hippy van by the pool. The property is close to the road so you can hear cars and vehicles passing, however this didn’t bother us too much.

No restaurant, no gym, no 24hours staff service - the hotel next door does have better services. We had an emergency to go to the hospital at night and there wasn’t really no one to help us. Terrible experience. As we had to run to the hospital right before checkout, we left sunglasses at the room and disappeared. They can be a bit rude and demanding regarding their service limitations (i.e. no lunch orders after 12:00 - no staff after sunset - no restaurant). They also provided wrong information regarding Caldera Yacht Cruises tours payment, so is better to ask directly to the tour providers.

• Bianca (10/5): The most stunning resort! - Accommodation is so beautiful, by far the best place we have stayed in, in Europe. Wish we stayed there longer. Owners had an arrival surprise for us which was a lovely touch to the stay. Owners are extremely helpful and only want the best for your stay. We got a quad bike for 24 hours and we went around the whole island. Was the most fun we had and worth every penny. Also saved you getting taxis around. Walk to main town is a steep hill but you get used to it.

Chris was an amazing host for our wine tasting & made the experience a highlight of our stay.

We interacted with Eleni more during our stay, just given the timing of us going - Beautifully designed, a little off from the main tourist area which we wanted, great service from staff Dark and small roads like most areas in Santorini so would not recommend to walk to and from the hotel at night.

We tried to stay longer but they were fully booked. No surprise there, it’s a great spot and I would recommend. The gas heater outside didn’t work and they said it would cost 60 euro to have a gas bottle replaced. That part confused me Other than that our stay was faultless.

The staff at Elysian Retreat go above and beyond to introduce to not only the retreat, but Santorini itself; making sure to help you organize your travel plans and assist with booking any outings. The retreat itself is gorgeous, with amazing views of the north east side of Santorini. Our room had an amazing picturesque private pool which was a real highlight of our trip. The daily breakfast is actually really good; unlike most hotel breakfasts I can actually recommend this one - we had the hearty breakfast and the vegan option. Thank you again team at the Elysian, you really made our visit to Santorini special!

• Brooke (10/5): Luxurious, peaceful, perfect location, highly recommend - I cannot fault this accommodation! We absolutely loved our stay here and wished that we could stay longer. I believe it is the perfect location because you get to enjoy peaceful views, without having so many tourists around. It is about a 20 minute walk into the main town of Oia (about 5-10mins up a very steep hill, but manageable). You are much better off staying here and walking into Oia to enjoy the views and get good photos, rather than stay in Oia, as there are just too many people, and I don’t think it would be very peaceful. The room itself, was top quality and we lovedddd the design features! Stunning! We chose to enjoy breakfast in our room which was delicious and it was so special to enjoy it by our private pool. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was beautiful, and the room had all the amenities that we needed. Finally, the staff were just a delight. Thank you so much, we loved our stay here.
• Rowand (10/5): Super Beautiful - We booked the Hotel for only one night Initially as we were planning to try different hotels and experience the different vibes in Santorini Elysian Retreat was our first choice for the first night .. we went to another hotel the second night and then we decided that we will go back for our 3rd night and won’t try anything else! Our Villa was beyond beautiful, comfortable and clean Heated pool was the main reason for us going back! Location is really good! With a car you will be in Oia in 10 mins, 19 mins in Fira and 30 mins to Akrotiri Elena and Paños were beyond welcoming and happy to have us back! They gifted us a bottle of White Wine as a beautiful gesture for their appreciation for coming back We would definitely go back again and again! Lovely lovely place and hospitality! Nothing

The hotel is located very close to the centre of Oia (less than 10 mins) so when we wanted the crowd we drove there The Hotel gives you the serenity you would need for sure! Be it the spacious rooms with the private pool, the amazing staff or the perfect location (close to oia but far enough from the city noise), our stay was beyond expectations. Eleni & Panos are extremely nice people and ensured a home-like feeling for us throughout the entire stay. They went well and beyond with boat excursion reservation and car rental and general tips for the island. The common pool area was also a spoiling edition, swimming in an infinity pool with a volcano view and a bar to meet our cocktail needs. An experience to stay with us for years to come. Highly recommended place! We had to leave :)
• Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional - We booked villa Grace, i think with heated infinity pool and it was the ticket. Its an outstanding place to spend your holidays. The views are lovely. Place is extreamly quiet, you will not be distrupted. The paid breakfast was really nice, however perhaps for a slightly higher price, it could be included in the booking. Snacks we have tried were lovely too and the drinks were well made, the way they should be. Theres also a shareing pool with is nice. The room is well equipped, you get all u need. If im ever back in santorini it is very likely i will return to Elysian Retreat. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made our stay extra special. They really made us feel like rockstars and didn’t let us lift a finger. The food and bar was great too. As was the additional laundry service for an additional 20 euros they washed, dried and folded our clothes which meant we didn’t have to search for a laundromat Highly recommend this place. Nothing. The property is away from the centre of Pia and a decent 25-30min walk but we actually loved being away from the hustle and bustle and returning to our quiet retreat after a busy day of exploring.

Privacy, tranquility & sea view, perfection - We had the pleasure to stay at this stunning property for 2 nights, our only disappointment was that it was not longer. From initial booking through to check-in the amazing staff including Panos & Eleni, were efficient and helpful with our questions regarding dining options, transport etc. We stayed in the magnificent Villa Harmony Sea View (Villa 10) with an enormous private swimming pool and an outdoor seating area bigger than most people's apartments! We arrived hours before planned 15.00 check-in time however Panos facilitated a quick housekeeping turnaround of our villa so that we could unpack and start enjoying our private sanctuary. Likewise, the delightful Eleni graciously allowed us a late check out of 14.00pm which was amazing, we were so thrilled to have those extra few hours to savour this magnificent retreat. Oia is a 15-20min walk from the resort, close enough to see the sights however far enough away from the chaos of Oia, it was heaven to arrive back to our Villa to enjoy our sea view, catch the breeze and sip on a cocktail prepared by the beautiful Konstantina What a delightful young lady she is, nothing is too much trouble and she is there 12 hours every day always with a smile and wonderful welcome. Thank you to the team for providing us with a perfect two days to end what has been an incredible month long vacation in Europe. Santorini has been on our bucket list for so many years and choosing this resort was the smartest thing we could do. We have stayed in many, many hotels/resorts over the years, Elysian Retreat, Oia is our number one! We intend to return same time next year and can't wait to experience this little piece of paradise again! Absolutely nothing. This place is perfection, managed by an incredible team.

The stuff was just kind and super helpful with all our needs(car and boat rentals, recommendations about restaurants and attractions in the island) weeks before our arrival! The facilities of the room are wonderful - the private pool with amazing view and the big and comfortable room. It's very close to Oia but still quiet and relaxing. Super recommend! Thanks

The hospitality of the full team and the lovely breakfast in the morning which was served onto the room. We had a lot of help choosing several activities. We don't have anything to complain.

The splash pool was so nice after a long day in the sun, and the hosts were so responsive and helpful. When we come back to Santorini, my husband and I will definitely stay here again.

• Alexand'or (10/5): Elysian Retreat was such a Treat! - At first I was hesitant to book Elysian Retreat, since it was not view appropriate, like all the other hotels in Oia or Fira facing the Caldera. Hotels with view of the caldera are with no doubt exceptionally unique, but in our times their prices have gone way up. At Elysian Retreat you get a spacious villa with a private pool right in front, at a reasonable price. With only 10 villas (no children allowed), at this Retreat you'll get the chance to unwind and enjoy this serene place to its maximum. I also enjoyed the option of having our quality breakfast or lunch served in our balcony, which felt like being pampered each day. If you want to leave your room there is also another bigger pool to visit, where all the guests hang out. Lovely add to that setting, is their vintage canteen truck that serves drinks, coffees & snacks at any time. The Highlight of our stay were Eleni & Panos! Both always at your disposal, communicating with them even through WhatsApp, they were eager to serve you at any time or even give you suggestions of things to visit or even book. Panos suggested us an amazing taverna at Messaria (Ta Postalia tou Aigaiou), only mainly known to the island's locals. We had an amazing lunch there and I would definitely recommend. Another good suggestion of Panos, was Hassapiko (MaryKay's Bar) in Oia. We had the most Fabulous Cocktail's there. Another Day we also followed Eleni's suggestion to book a semi-private luxury (Sunset boat tour-Lucky8), in order to experience the Caldera at its finest hour. It was Totally Worth it! If I had to visit Santorini again, this would be the place to stay once again! On our first day there, when we entered our room, it was slightly full of flies. I assume they all may have entered when the cleaning lady left the windows open, to let some fresh air get in. To my surprise without even complaining, Eleni mentioned the following day that they had to enter our room for pest control and bug extermination. It was good to know they had noticed the issue, by themselves! Moreover 2 or 3 of our plants by the pool at Room No 07, they had dried out by a damage at their automatic watering system. They informed us they had taken note of that and they would soon replace them. Minor Details if you ask me!
• Sarah (10/5): Loved every minute - Hotel was absolutely incredible We loved the pool the most (private) We loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heart beat Emergency lighting in the room was bright Food and drinks were pricey (even for Santorini) In my opinion you need a car to get up the hill each night

It was the most incredible stay :) The rooms were stunning, all meals we had were wonderful. We are incredibly grateful for all recommendations they provided us, all of them were incredible. • Wendy (9/5): Superb - A calm and peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the busy towns. Nothing was too much trouble. They even arranged some beautiful wedding bouquets at very short notice. Fantastic restaurant within walking distance plus good well stocked mini market nearby. Arrangement with very good local taxi service which worked well. Can't fault the retreat facilities, service and staff, all excellent Highly recommend. Thank you Panos and Eleni. The villa with pool was amazing in a minimalistic style but did not have a proper wardrobe, just a small hanging rail with not enough height to hang clothes. They did bring us a freestanding rail though. Just a rather strange design we thought. This is why we gave a rating of 9, not 10. Everything else really was perfect.
• Alex (9/5): Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of Oia. - It was very peaceful, beautiful pool and private pool. Staff were excellent. It was a 20 minute walk into Oia up a steep hill.

• Ben (10/5): An Unforgettable Stay - From the moment we arrived we were greeted by smiling faces and brilliant service from every member of staff. The room was stunning, and beds comfy, with the standout feature of the hotel being the private pool in each room. There is also a large communal pool with a van serving drinks,snacks and meals throughout the day. Its a small hotel with only 10 rooms I believe so every interaction feels personal. On that note, the staff are at hand basically 24/7 via WhatsApp and can handle any queries or even organise transport and activities on your behalf. Breakfast was worth the value that you paid, 2 courses from each option on a set menu with juice and coffee was more than enough to satisfy. It can also be ordered to your room to be enjoyed in private. The only thing would be we recommend hiring a car as the walk into the famous Oia town with other forms of transport (buses/taxi ranks) is all uphill and on the road. We only stayed 3 nights but wish we had the time to stay longer!

• Aakansha (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location and amazing property. We stayed in one of the private pool rooms and the view was beautiful. The hospitality was great. We were welcomed by Paros and were also accommodated well during checkin. Very staff were very hospitable! They had great recommendations and were very welcoming.

They helped us with anything that we would possibly need, setting up reservations and taxis for us, giving us recommendations for food and things to do. I enjoyed coming back to the retreat every time just for the warm welcome! The breakfast was amazing (very filling). The view was great, could see the sunrise and sunset just from our room, which also had a private pool! 10/10 stay, would recommend :) I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like!

The only downside was tea/coffee got cold very quickly but apart from that everything else was excellent
• Preeti (10/5): Great location and amazing hosts. - Eleni and Nico were amazing hosts. They totally went above and beyond, very attentive and happy to sort out all sorts of arrangements. The hotel was gorgeous, just close enough to Oia to make it easy to get aroudn, but far enough away form the throngs of tourists. A total oasis and with an amazing view and sunsets every night. The rooms were immacutalte and beautifully designed. Honestly, i could not ask for a more relaxing and convenient holiday.

It really helped to guide us for our few days in santorini. The villa was very clean and spacious. The views were also very beautiful. We would defintely come here again! Nothing apart from the pool being a little cold.

The bedrooms, terrace and pool are exceptionnal with a splendid view. Plus the staff is warm and very welcoming and managing our island visit according to our wishes (excellent easy communication via whastapp). Food is lovely (breakfasts are very generous). All recommandations made and visits where perfect a perfect way to both relax and visit in 5 days. We highly recommend it ! Thank you again 🙏🥰
