• Esther (10/5): Grandios dieser Blick übers Meer… wir kommen sehr gerne wieder…. - Wow, wow, wowww!!! Was für eine Aussicht! Ein grosses Haus mit allem was man braucht. Wir sind dankbar, dass wir in dieser Unterkunft wohnen durften. Die Gastgeberin hat uns herzlich begrüsst, auch die Kommunikation war einwandfrei. Nur ein kleiner Hinweis… Ich persönlich würde die Utensilien in der Küche mal aussortieren. Weniger währe wohl mehr….

• Nadia (9/5): - Ошеломляющий вид из панорамного окна гостиной и спален. Ты засыпаешь и просыпаешься под шум океана, а под окном миленьких садик. Удобный гараж. На кухне есть все необходимое. Два камина, в одном из которых можно приготовить барбекю на большую семью. Мы жалели, что провели всего лишь 1 день в этом доме и с удовольствием вернемся сюда снова. Не понятно, как можно связаться с хозяином для передачи ключей при заезде. Мы остановились у дома и не знали, как в него попасть.

The bed, everything about this place is amazing, I would recommend this place if you are a couple or a family, it has everything you need even for a Christmas lunch. • Michael (9/5): A Tremendous Value for the Money in Struisbaai - This was the second time I've stayed at Cora's very well-appointed, incredibly spacious, Struisbaai home on the bluffs overlooking the ocean. The 180 degree views of the surf, the beach and the clouds cannot be beat, especially for the modest cost in relation to value received. Cora has provided every creature comfort one could ask for, right down to a whale-spotting telescope. A big bonus for the roadweary traveler is the clothes washer and the clothesline of the interior courtyard. A second bath with shower was added since our first visit, another bonus. The accommodation is perhaps 12-15 minutes from the southermost African point of Cape Agulhas, if that, and the restaurants of the village of L'Agulhas are even closer. We'll be back!

• Michele (10/5): Beautiful! We’d love to stay again, and in the summer this would be perfect with the outdoor seating area and vast views - The view from the property is just stunning!! You have an unrestricted view of the sea which was breathtaking. As we were leaving in the morning we watched a whale in front of the property which was lovely. The property is large and would be good for big families and has every kitchen appliance you could need (food mixer, air fryer, toastie maker etc). We also liked the garage to park in making it feel more secure. Nothing!! Whilst the property isn’t modern I feel the price reflects this and it’s great value. You can see how loved the property is and a previous family home. The only thing would be to be mindful if you have small children as there were lots of knick knacks on tables/shelves that could easily be knocked.
• Promeet (7/5): Best view, tons of space, but....! - Fantastic views, huge house. Unfortunately, this house is made for summer as there is no central heating or any other means of warming up the massive living room or the bedrooms. Two bedrooms did have electric blankets, but it was still cold. I did contact Cora, who suggested that I start a fire in the fireplace. Unfortunately, there was no wood!! I'm sure she meant well, but we ended up freezing. If you are there in a South African winter, I'd pack a few extra wollies.

• Michael (9/5): A Magnificent Retreat from the Maddening Crowd - This is an enormous, open, airy, and well-appointed home on the lip of the bluff above the beach, with a magnificent, dramatic, and commanding view of the ocean, whose crashing waves will lull you to sleep at night. Cora is an excellent hostess, easy-going and attentive, plus a good source of local recommenations. There are laundry facilities on the premises and clotheslines in the sheltered patio, a welcome plus for travelers. Stores and restaurants conveniently nearby. We would definitely stay here again! We have no issues to report. Everything was great.

• Anonymous (10/5): A beautiful house in a stunning location with a delightful host! - Oceanview House, as its name implies, is in a stunning location overlooking the shore and the sea. Cora is a delightful host, renting out her own beautiful home, and who took great trouble to make sure that we had everything we needed and were comfortable. An added bonus is that a delightful range of birds visit to take advantage of the feed left out for them so you can sit on the verandah watching both the birds and the sea. We will definitely visit again.

All the utensils were provided, with an enclosed outside braai area, protected from the prevailing wind. Rooms spacious and clean. A "home" well looked after and a pleasure to have stayed their. Nothing but not a home for young children as balcony not protected from 1.5m drop

We can't wait to go back. Special mention to the telescope in the lounge, we used it for whale watching from the lounge, star gazing. We also had a buck in the garden, as well as countless local birds. It sleep 6 but would be great for 2 couples, then they both get ocean views. Really amazing kitchen with anything you'd need. 👏 Bathrooms are a bit older but still lovely, spacious and comfortable! Large bathtub and shower.
