• Diana (9/5): Very nice - The apartment is very spacious, and the host was very kind and helped us with an early check-in and recommendations for our stay. It’s located about 8 minutes from the train station, with easy access to the city center. The back street route might feel slightly unsafe at night, but if you stick to the main road, it's totally fine. There are supermarkets, shops, cafés, and focaccerias nearby — everything you need. The shower cabin has only an overhead shower head, without a handheld one and it doesn’t have any place to put the shower gel or shampoo bottles. However, the bathroom has plenty of shelves and space where you can place your products.
• Federico (8/5): a good stay in a good - The place has everything you could want. - Comfortable bed - really clean, modern apartment - good wifi connection - helpful host. - the apartment is located near the station, and close to the port. - tea coffee and a 2L bottle of water were provided. - Soap and shampoo sachets were provided. These aren't things that I necessarily disliked but can be helpful to others. - I stayed 8 nights and was only given 1 set of towels (face, bath and bidet). I do feel that at least 2 bath towels could have been provided as the apartment is in a vico, so there's not enough natural light to dry the bath towel. In addition, in order to dry the towel, you have to use the radiator but the apartment has a low voltage capacity, so this adds on the electricity consumption, which can be an issue if you need to be doing other things. - Shower temperature was an issue. The first night, the water was hot for about a minute and then cold. Second day the same thing, so I messaged the owner and he modified the timer. Having said this, for the remaining time at the apartment, the hot water lasted for about five minutes and then was lukewarm. Having to rush, on holiday, to have a shower before the water turns cold is not ideal. If the purpose behind the short timer was for ecological purposes, then this should have been mentioned on the booking page. - The apartment has a low voltage capacity - the owner explained when he gave me the keys that I had to be careful about how many things were turned on. I had my phone on charge, radiator in the bathroom on (as place was cold), lamp light on, tv and air con on, with everything else off and as a result, whilst I was having a shower, the electricity went out so I had to get out, dry off, get dressed and switch the electric meter lever back on. Again, if this has been done for ecological purposes, it needs to be mentioned, as one cannot be counting KW.

• Meredith (9/5): Very comfortable flat in historic area - Great flat with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Genoa. Very friendly host. Convenient area near train station. Nothing. Guests need to understand that this is in an historic area where buildings are close together and therefore there is less light than would be the case in a modern building. The flat is on the first floor with no lift. The area is close to Via Pre which has a reputation for crime - while this may be true we did not feel unsafe and went to a great restaurant on that street one night. Take usual precautions.

• Venera (10/5): Comfortable and close to public transport. - This apartment is well kept, spacious and comfortable. It is close to transport and walking distance to city centre. Host is polite and helpful. A great place to stay!
