- marsha (1/5): My family had to find another place to stay at the last minute for a much higher price. - Nothing The host charged me the full amount three days before the stay. I had booked this for my daughter, her husband and their two kids. When they finally found it, it was a large condo complex. We were not given any condo number or code to enter. I tried to contact the owners, while my family sat out in the car after a long day of travel. Nobody responded either by phone or email. I had to contact Booking.com. They gave the property 45 minutes to respond and the bottom line was they said they were not honoring the reservation. No reason given. We had booked back in May. I was charged days before arrival. Not a word was said about cancelling. I think this place is a scam.
