Location was excellent with lots of eateries within walking distance. We ate in The Dun Cow and the Italian restaurant which was literally across the road, both were very well priced and the food was great 👍 Nothing

• Katie (9/5): Wonderful property, helpful host, great location - Lovely, cosy property which we chose to celebrate our family Christmas in, the village is beautiful and the property is located very close to a number of shops and restaurants. The bathrooms were slightly cold but we also stayed in the middle of winter so this can happen in the winter! We were also told there would be a Christmas tree and so didn’t bring our own, but the tree provided was just a miniature pop up tree, if we were to do this stay again we would bring our own tree :)

• Wright (9/5): Very enjoyable stay in a very comfortable and well appointed period house. - A beautiful large period house with very well appointed rooms and well equipped. The location is ideal, set on the village green with shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes within a minute's walk. A lovely village full of independent shops. Well sited for trips and excursions; we visited Beamish Museum only 40 mins away.

The house was very homely and perfect in every way, I will definitely be staying here again. • Lisa (9/5): Superb - Lots of space for 2 families. 3 double bedrooms on the middle floor, 2 twin rooms on the top floor. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Parking outside the property is small as stated. We always found a space nearby. Small parking space out the front.
